“Hazel’s is one of those no-brainer places you hit with friends or family when you’re looking for something casual. Some dishes are better than others but overall the seafood is fresh and tasty. The servers have all been very tentative and nice over the years which makes for a positive experience. This is definitely a place I will continue to patron and recommend.”

“I normally don’t post reviews unless they need to be recognized for their AMAZING food and service! I went here for a quick lunch in-between meetings on a very stressful busy day! The employees were so friendly, they turned my frown upside down! I got the Birmingham Chicken Wrap and an Active Smoothie, which were both super delicious and very healthy, This will 100% be my go to spot whenever I am in Birmingham!”

“I stop by Hunter house anytime I am in the area. They have the best burgers, onion rings fries you can look over the menu inside and not one thing in there I would not recommend trying. That is my go to spot when I want a top of the line fresh burger yes can be busy, But it’s definitely worth the wait. I have never gotten my order wrong or the wrong order for that matter. The staff is good. They are friendly, funny great sense of humor. I’ve been going there for years and I’ll still keep going. It’s a great place. If you want something from outside of the ordinary, it’s grilled and deep fried right there. You can either call ahead and have your order done or you can walk right in you can dine in or you can order a carryout right from the inside. It’s a local treasure for Birmingham, Royal Oak, Southfield, and Clawson, Michigan”

I'm glad I did! the baristas recommended a brown sugar latte with pistachio milk and that's what I got, iced. It was phenomenal. Great price point for the quality of the product. Crispelli's pastries. 5 stars, highly recommend and will be back again.”

“This is my new soft serve ice cream spot! They have a featured flavor every month, and I want to try all of them. September flavor is? Strawberry Swirl, and it's so good. August flavor was ? Orange Swirl, and it was so good as well.”

“I got the spicy tuna bowl. I didn't like that it was ground tuna and not cubed. Food was good. Just didn't knock my socks off. More topping variety would be nice. They only have a few cans of coke, some other random canned drinks, and a bottle of water. Coke snd sushi is a weird mix. The place was warm inside...which made me question the temperature of the raw food. And that tainted my enjoyment of the meal. Parking was a nightmare, but it was a Friday night.”

“My daughter and I decided to check out Eli Tea Bar last night and we loved the atmosphere so much! it is so cozy. We were there to watch all the talented beautiful performers at open mic night. The tea was fresh and so good I really appreciate that it's alcohol free and welcoming to people of all ages. We will definitely be back!”

Why not stop in at Royal Oak Roast? It’s a comfy place with great people watching. The coffee is wonderful and refills are a dollar. So many different coffee choices in all styles, including espresso over over Weiss vanilla ice cream!!! The kitchen, yes I said kitchen has scrumptious food that is presented beautifully with the seasonal selections. All this sound good? Well that’s not even the best part. It’s the staff. It’s a varied collection of kind, hard working people that make you feel welcomed and are always working hard to get your order out to you. The portions are always generous, and the value for the price is unbeatable. “On Set. 19, I brought my 96-yr-old mom here for a drink and hors d'oeuvres. I had sent a note on the online reservation form that we would appreciate a quiet table. The receptionist had knowledge of the request without my saying anything, and immediately showed me three locations she thought would suit. I wish I had gotten her name, for management to commend her. (We arrived at 5:15, which should help you know to whom I refer.) We sat in a booth, and our server, Usama, made our nearly 3-hr (!) visit truly joyful and perfect! Again, management - please take note. We agreed that he was the best waiter either of us have ever had - attentive, fun and funny, and going the extra mile in tailoring our drinks to our (sweet-tooth!) tastes, and making us feel welcome and special. This was likely my mom's final "fancy" outing, and I am so grateful to Usama for making it perfect. Kudos also to the chefs. Our 3 dishes were superb - beef tips, shrimp, hummus.”
