“My entire experience was great! I ordered 6 oysters, whitefish pate, hot lobster roll w/melted butter, corn on the cob & a coke. All of the food was delicious! I have dined here at least 6 times & ordered different items & I’ve never been disappointed. Food & service is fantastic. I’ve never had a bad experience.”

“Our sister outing started and ended at 220 Merrill St. We had a good time enjoying good company, good service, and atmosphere.

Our reservations were at 3:00 which was during happy hour. If you want to enjoy their happy hour you must sit in the bar area.

Also, we didn’t know you cannot order dinner until 4:00. So, we ordered the Mediterranean Barbecue chicken flat bread while we waited, delicious, it truly lit our appetite on fire, as we watched the clock slowly clicking to 4:00.

The time had finally arrived. We placed our orders, 3 lamb chop dinners (5 big chops) and 1 Filet Mignon with a lobster tail.

Everyone started chowing down on there chops served with saffron rice, chopping up the tender steak and sopping the lobster tail in butter, it was on.

The chops were very flavorful, tender, nice size, and divine. The chef, knows their calling.

Our waiter was s handsome older gentleman ready to serve. Explained everything throughly about ordering before 4:00, making sure we were comfortable while waiting.

Overall from being seated to leaving wagging our tails, our sister outing was fantastic. Maybe next time we’ll sit on the patio. Patrons were out eating, chatting, and enjoying the sun. 🌞”

“Was my first time in Churchill’s yesterday, 03/28. Had no idea what to expect, never understood the purpose of the cigar. With that being said, I cannot wait to go back. Our waiter was great, the old fashioned was amazing and that cigar…now I get it!! So relaxing, great atmosphere and with a great tour guide who was also celebrating his birthday. That’s where he wanted to go, I’m sure glad he did!!! Highly recommend!”

“My family and I had a lovely dinner here! Our server, SJ, was wonderful! The food was incredible! To start, the bread basket was delicious. I had the Spicy Rigatoni Polomino and it was very flavorful! I also had one of their specials, the zucchini soup, and it was great! I was very impressed with the little things such as filling our water glasses often, to wiping the crumbs off our table in between apps and the entrees. I would definitely recommend this restaurant, I loved it!”

“We absolutely love Cannelle. The quality of the food here is unmatched, and it’s honestly the closest thing I’ve found to some of my favorite bakeries over in Europe.

My husband and I come here often and I’ve never had anything I haven’t thoroughly enjoyed. The sandwiches are great, the bread, the pastries, everything.

I highly recommend any of fruit pastries shaped like the actual fruit they’re flavored.

The only thing to note is that the cafe itself is very very small, and seating is limited. This is a popular location so sometimes it can be really crowded inside. Additionally, keep in mind theres not a lot of parking available.”

The ambience and presentation of the store is incredible the staff is warm and kind and they treat you like a guest in their home the drinks are excellent and the pastries beckon to you. Beautiful hand made items that look like little works of art. We stumbled upon this place and were enchanted by its old world feel and French influence. We will definitely be back!”

Why not stop in at Royal Oak Roast? It’s a comfy place with great people watching. The coffee is wonderful and refills are a dollar. So many different coffee choices in all styles, including espresso over over Weiss vanilla ice cream!!! “On Set. 19, I brought my 96-yr-old mom here for a drink and hors d'oeuvres. I had sent a note on the online reservation form that we would appreciate a quiet table. The receptionist had knowledge of the request without my saying anything, and immediately showed me three locations she thought would suit. I wish I had gotten her name, for management to commend her. (We arrived at 5:15, which should help you know to whom I refer.) We sat in a booth, and our server, Usama, made our nearly 3-hr (!) visit truly joyful and perfect! Again, management - please take note. We agreed that he was the best waiter either of us have ever had - attentive, fun and funny, and going the extra mile in tailoring our drinks to our (sweet-tooth!) tastes, and making us feel welcome and special. This was likely my mom's final "fancy" outing, and I am so grateful to Usama for making it perfect. Kudos also to the chefs. Our 3 dishes were superb - beef tips, shrimp, hummus.”

He pointed out the menu’s recommendations, didn’t rush us, and personalized the order of when we’d like our choices brought out to the table. Every dish we ordered from appetizers to the complimentary Birthday dessert, was tremendous! We reserved a standard table in one of their dining rooms. However, even the bar area with high top tables would not disappoint. Don’t hesitate to make this a place to experience. They offer a great menu of salads, seafood, steaks, and be sure to ask about specials. They offer a vast wine menu and specialty drinks. We WILL be back!
