Last night we were celebrating my friend’s birthday. From the beginning everything was really nice. Our waitress (unfortunately I didn’t catch her name, but I remember she had a few pins on her anpron and ginger hair !!) was amazing. She recommended amazing wine and described the menu perfectly. Big shout for her, she did amazing job and makes us really special and comfortable ? Plus we came with our dog which was not a problem at all! Food was delicious as well. Thank you for amazing experience. :)

I went in for my birthday and the food was absolutely delicious. Camilla was amazing and recommended us some amazing Californian wine. The service was great, staff was friendly. Overall a great experience, will definitely be back.

I always enjoy the tastings and exploring new wine. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable!

Hello P.

We loved you guys!! We had dined at your place last year on February 14. The service they provided was extraordinary. The server was really good and made us feel at home.

Came here with a total of 18 people. Sat outside. They were very accomodating to our large group. We had many varied wines and a lot of appetizers. would recommend.

This restaurant doesn't even deserve one star. It should be called Vinoshit not Vinotecca. It's a shit show. Went to dinner with the family and all of the food was burnt. My filet mignon was not only burnt but also pink inside. The service was extremely slow and the staff was rude. This place was beyond disappointing. We were shown no hospitality. Thank you Vinotecca for a horrible experience. This isn't what I come to Birmingham for.

If you get Eddie as a waiter you are blessed. He's extremely thoughtful and just wanted to say thank you! I came here with my cousin and I. I don't get out much Bc I take care of a senior w dementia and thank you so much for making a rare night out so pleasant. The food was great I had the filet and my cousin had the short rib. We moved to the bar after and had a super yummy basil cucumber gin drink. He even wrote the recipe of the drink for us! Just really nice ppl who work there so please treat them well!

I used to love Vinotecca's Royal Oak location, and was so sad when it closed. I'm so glad Vinotecca has reopened in Birmingham! They have really well spaced outdoor seating (with heaters for when the weather is cooler), the staff is all masked, paper menus, and guests are required to mask up until seated. We were seated right at our reservation time (maybe even a few minutes before), and our waiter (Eddie) was super attentive, amazing, and fun. The food and wine were delicious. They also sent us a follow-up email the next day thanking us for coming in. All around, it was a great experience; we will be back for sure!

Very POOR and SLOW Service!! We made a reservation 2 weeks ahead for Wednesday evening birthday party.. 1st gave us a table , We we're sitting there 15 mi s or so , then they came out and said sorry " we have to move your party , because this is reserved for someone else !!! 2nd table later , slow service! Waited for our drinks !! Finally!! We put in our food order.. waited! Waited ! And waited !!!!! Poorly cooked ! However some meals were delicious " but !!! The manager never came out of his office!! Waitress did adjust our bill .. however!!! This is a high end restaurant!!

Only came in for a mimosa while waiting for our table at another restaurant but an amazing server Eddie convinced us to stay instead. We had bottomless mimosas for $18. The scallop appetizer was amazing. Will definitely be coming back.

I LOVE the meal, service fantastic! BUT sat outside and VERY disappointed with the noise level of Old Woodward on a Saturday night. Birmingham MUST do something about the noisy cars cruising the downtown area!! I will not dine in Birmingham outside on a Friday or Saturday night in The downtown area until the city steps up to the plate and closes off this area to car traffic on weekend evenings. How sad for a nice restaurant to lose business for this reason.

Very nicke location, especially the outside sitting area. Service was excellent. Very good balance of attentiveness and friendliness. Don't order the charcuterie board though. It's really only an assortment of two types of cheeses and two types of salami. No prosciutto or similar. And lots of crackers and fruits. If I wanted to eat so much fruits I would order a fruit bowl. Anyways, tasty but much too expensive ($25) for what's been served.

First time going to Vinotecca today. My husband and I came on a Sunday when we walked by and noticed people sitting outside on the patio. The vibe and music was great, but the service made it phenomenal! The manager was so accommodating, and our server, Ed, was charming, comical, and knew his stuff. We ordered the burger and the short rib and were not disappointed! The apps and cocktails were great as well - I highly recommend the lobster rangoons and the shrimp diablo. We will definitely be back!

This place was really nice from the outside and inside. The hostess was really nice as well. The drinks and the food were both pretty good too. What really made my experience here though is a waiter named *Eddy*. The restaurant was really busy which is understandable but we had a bartender that basically ignored us when we asked for food. We asked Eddy to order food and explained what happened. He took care of us beyond any means. I've never been taken care of so well in my life. He made sure we were his main priority of the night. He continuously checked up on us. Brought us amazingly made drinks on the house. The food was supposed to take a while to come but Eddy took care of that too and the food came out in 15 minutes. To top it all off Eddy asked a wine expert (John) to get us two free glasses of "dessert wine" and it was two glasses of $500 bottle of wine. Before having the wine John explained the entire process of how this wine is made, so nice!!! By far the best experience ever because of the service in this joint. Thank you so so much Eddy for an amazing night.
