“First time trying this place even though we live in BC. Just a breakfast/lunch place so that's typically tougher for us to go to but glad we were able to stop in. Apparently they've recently been renovated so I don't know what it was like before but everything did seem newer and definitely clean. Service was per quick and friendly, I forget our young servers name but everyone was very nice and welcoming. I got the hot pot roast sandwich, it was tasty with the gravy over everything: maybe too much after awhile but it did remind me of how ma and grandma used to do it! Kids portions were the right amount and they loved it and the wrap my wife got was fresh and tasty as well. Best thing about this place is the prices are home town and home cooking worthy (think the highest thing on menu is $15), so very reasonable price for reasonable and filling portions. We'll be back to try breakfast at some point I know!“

“There are about 10 retirees of us that try a new breakfast place every couple of weeks. This was one of our favorite places out of the 20 places we have had breakfast at. Highly recommend it for anyone good prices and lots of food for the price. One thing I really noticed is how all the employees were really friendly and welcoming.“

“The waitress was not attentive at all. served 3 other tables of customers that were regular customers first they came in 5 minutes after us,I had to get her attention to put our order in, she told me because we needed menus she severed the other tables first. had to ask for our bill as others got theirs and paid and we're on their way. I don't care if you've been a waitress for 40 years, you don't just ignore your customers regular or not. was told there's no owner of management also. I know this post will be deleted because she didn't want to hear the truth. I left her a 5.00 tip just for the fact she was doing it all by herself of the whole 10 or so tables.“

“My husband and I have been looking for bars like this in the Grandville area and have come to realize... there aren't any. Thankfully, Sports Center Cafe is close by. We stopped in for some drinks and an appetizer on a Saturday afternoon and their nachos did not disappoint! They were generous with the toppings and you can't beat happy hour pricing. We will be back.“

“I've been to Plainfield a couple times and everything was great. Try the coconut cream pie! I had an uber eats delivery with an error that came from here and the manager was friendly and happy to make things right. Errors happen everywhere, but great customer service is rare. I will definitely dine at russ' again!“

“My coworker and I ordered lunch from here and while my food was great, her mozzarella sticks were overcooked. I contacted the restaurant and the general manager reached out to me and made things right by sending us a gift card! This is customer service at it's best and we will definitely be back.“

“Great experience overall. Love the ceiling painted to look like a sky with some fluffy clouds. I had soup and a 1/2 sandwich - only $10 ?. Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable. Love the family -friendly atmosphere and that the business has been around for so long. They must be doing something right! I'll continue to support them whenever I'm around and hungry! ?“
