Watch out for the mandatory tip on "big gatherings" not quite sure what constitutes a big gathering and I know it's common practice in a lot of places these days but it would be nice if they inform you in advance before you double tip like I did! nor do I know how many in a party to be considered a big gathering. bottom line if you're going to do that to patrons I think you should inform them in advance. times aren't just hard for wait staff, they're also hard for your patrons.“
“Fresh Hot Fish Fry Friday with some crispy French fries, and tartar sauce. I declined on the Cole Slaw but my brother said it was good. There was a 20 minute wait and the hostess texted us around that time and said our table was ready. I thought this was nice considering it's a bar. Our server was nice and friendly. A number of televisions with a variety of sports on and also Classic Keno.“

“This place is friendly and accommodating. It was our first time visiting a Black Rock Bar & Grill. The waitress explained everything very well. I have a gluten sensitivity and a dairy allergy. They were very accommodating and cooked my green beans in oil instead of butter. My husband ordered a full slab of ribs and I ordered the 25 oz sirloin steak, which was very tender, and shared. The fry is a very good size and filled me up.We also ordered street tacos, and the pork and chicken weren't bad. The steak was quite bland though. They had only meat, raw onion, and cilantro on them, and it was LOADED up with the onion. If you order it you better LOVE it.“
“I can’t recommend this place enough. The portions are big enough for dinner and lunch the next day. And the food tastes amazing. Souheil the owner and the general manager Randy doesn’t disappoint, the wait staff were very polite and spot on making sure our drinks were full and when we were ready for boxes they had them ready for us. “A Canton landmark for many years, the Rusty Nail is a great place to enjoy dinner and drinks with friends and family - or to make new friends. The fact that they have established such a number of faithful regular customers speaks to their family-friendly, welcoming environment. The interior is nice and cozy and their exterior & parking lot are in the process of new upgrades as well. You should really check this place out - it probably won’t be your last visit!“
“Another terrific visit: Ordered the “fruit explosion” crepes (a recurring favorite). Staff is VERY attentive and their freshly-squeezed orange juice was awesome! Came with family and they got to experience Johnnie Cakes for the first time. Also, there was no waiting to get a table (Sat AM). “I just love this place! The spinach pie is the only other spinach pie I eat besides my mother’s. Also I love the Greek salad, it’s special! The dressing is the best I ever had and the ingredients are always so fresh. I haven’t tried much else because I can’t stop ordering the spinach pie and Greek salad but my husband has tried most things and is always happy. We’ve been going here for a good 6 years. ?“

Lucky for us we have no shortage of that where we live, and this Leo's around the corner from us was no exception. I grew up eating Leo's when I lived in Dearborn and been to multiple locations. They always have the same menus, same items and they are generally good as long as you know what to order. Always a fan of their breakfast, especially their turkey sausages. It was especially busy on this day due to the holidays, but my waitress was on point today. The food is not gonna wow you, but it's familiar and consistent which is what I wanted.“

The fries were fluffy, crisp and hot - everything a person could ask for in a fry. The loud music is the only reason that this is not 5 star. The server was good. She was attentive, replenished drinks quickly and kept checking on us.“

“went and got a chicken shawarma from the food truck on Grand River and livernois, I wasn't pleased with it I'm not used to my chicken shawarma being made like a panini. the chicken was a little dry and he could have put more garlic on it. but I'll be back to try other things. I'm just not used to my chicken shawarma being hard or crunchy.“
