“Oh MAN Rocco's is the place I have searched for in vain until last year when I tried them for the first time. Since that first meatball sub I have had almost every sandwich on the menu and so far not one has disappointed! Today I had the Corner Deli and was transported to Italian paradiso! In case you non-Italians did not know, ciabatta is the Italian baguette and Rocco's bakes many fresh loaves several times per day! Usually it is still warm from the oven even if you get a cold sandwich! There is no better sandwich bread in my progenic-Italian opinion! They are in Midtown on Cass just East of Mack. Try them if you have yet to do so. You will thank the gods!“

I asked the the person behind the counter what they recommend for a "First time customer".. he smiled and said try the "Original Steak Daddy " I said ok.. just add green pepper and onion and we're good! I have to say that was the absolute "Best! Steak Sub I have ever had! the Steak was perfectly marinated in a light Italian Gravy.. not too much and not too little.. the Steak itself was a huge portion and the green peppers and onions were overflowing over the bun.. this really was a treat! 5 star rating is really not enough.. 10 from me for sure!“

It is quite small inside and seating is packed tightly. If there's a wait, it's even worse. We were promptly sat and a server was there with menus and water and took our drink order. The menu is small but covers all the bases nicely. The chips arrived hot and the salsa made in house while we waited for our food which wasn't long. Nothing pretentious going on here just solid well prepared and fresh. Portions were generous and the prices fair. We've found another little gem! “The best middle eastern food anywhere in southeastern Michigan. It's even better than my family's authentic cooking (but don't tell them). Right when you walk in you're treated like family. All of their food is amazing. I especially love their eggplant boats, grape leaves, stuffed squash, mujadara, and platters. They have the best garlic sauce and amazing shawarma. Also Wednesday nights they have dinner specials that you can preorder that are a must try! I usually order one and have enough food for my 5 year old daughter and I to have dinner and leftovers. They offer lots of gluten free foods including preordered meat and spinach pies and are very knowledgeable about gluten free since their son is gluten free. I highly recommend checking them out! Unless you tell them to cook the chicken medium rare or medium they tend to cook it well done.They can maybe add a little bit more salt to the chicken though.Their portions are not the largest but since the prices are relatively low you can always pay a little extra to have the portions increased.Let's also see if they add more items on their menu. I would love to see more fusion items. I know they are new so they probably don't want to clutter their menu with too many things right now.“

We used to have a Papa Romanos near my house growing up, so I grew up with Bambino bread and deep dish pizza! When it closed, I was sad. This location is further away and does not deliver to our house. The other location is close to my husband's work, so we have purchased from there a couple of times and it is just not the same. I decided to write this review because most times when I go in to pick up, it is the same guys in there. I like that and I think they deserve to be recognized for creating superior pizzas to the location down the street. (At least from our experience)And to the lady who gave a one star review for not tipping. I'm sorry, I have to comment. Shame on you. If you can't afford a tip, then you should not be getting it delivered, period, not debatable. It is not the driver's fault you don't have the money.
