“For my 65th birthday and my soon to be dauhter-in, laws 25 birthday we celebrated at J. Baldwins! The food was excellent. Soooo good, I've never had better food. I even ordered 2 other meals and dessert to take home! I recommend this restaurant as a 20 on a 1 - 10 scale it was that yummy! 5 stars!”

“I have been turned off to Subway for several years because many of their locations are dirty, have old looking ingredients or the staff is not using hygienic practices.

We swung by here on a whim today and this was the cleanest subway I have ever seen. The staff were friendly and the ingredients all looked very fresh. I was happy to see bins packed with clean knives since most subways use the same disgusting knives all days and wipe them off on the edge of the counter which is repulsive. This place was a breath of fresh air, happy to see a place taking cleanliness and quality seriously!”

It was very salty which I can only attribute to the rice since it’s chicken based the rest was grilled pork and fresh vegetables. I gave up half way thru just couldn’t handle the salty taste. “We order Carlo’s for dinner often! Almost weekly! We had our son’s birthday this last week and we ordered 2 party trays of pizza, 75 wings & a large catered size Cesar salad. We originally hoped for the pizza to be thin crust as that’s what we usually always ordered but were informed that the party size only comes in deep dish, but we were ok to give it a try. None the less, everything was amazing! Fresh & hot! We always order wings & knew those would be a hit. There were a lot of compliments on the salad! Also a first try for me and will definitely be apart of our future orders! We also just might be rotating out a deep dish pizza and thin crust from now on. Carlo’s exceeded our expectations and we are so glad we chose them. Definitely recommend for large events & or just a regular pizza night for dinner 😊”

The two men at the counter and the one who made the pizza were great, and the price of the pizza was very reasonable for what you get. Great value and the store is big and bright and looked clean.”

“Cheryl's Diggity Dogs is as American as it gets located in front of Lowe's, the biggest store in a strip mall on a section of Gratiot lined on either side with car dealerships. The hotdogs or polish sausages are great and you can get a pop and bag of chips for not much extra. One of my favorite places for a snack on my way home from work. Cheryl is very friendly, I'm not sure the name of the other employee but she is also nice. My only complaint is that the hours seem slightly irregular”

“I could not be any more impressed!!
We are only in town for a few days, staying at a local hotel. We ordered a delivery through DoorDash and the driver never showed to pick up our order. I called and our sandwiches were sitting there “waiting”.

The young man that answered the phone Zach (sp) asked me to hold for a moment and then came back to the phone to say that an assistant manager (Avery)(sp) would be bringing our order to us. Wow !!! Excellent customer service!!

When she arrived she tried to help me with the refund process on my phone and after being on hold for awhile I decided to wait until morning to call ….

Then Baron (mgr maybe ?) called me to say he was going to refund my money because of the situation. Really ?? Another WOW !! This NEVER HAPPENS!!

This team went ABOVE AND BEYOND and even though the sandwiches had been sitting there, they were EXCELLENT!!

I did pay for a sandwich (that was only right).

Do yourself a favor and try them out if you haven’t already.

If I lived here I would DEFINITELY be a repeat customer!!
