“Went here for our 11th anniversary. Was recommended here many times. We had the tableside tomahawk for 2. Sliced by the tableside by the manager and plated as well tableside. When i tell you, this steak was absolutely PHENOMENAL! Seared to perfection, excellently cooked, and very conservatively seasoned to bring out of every flavor of the steak. The house salad and dressing is unlike any around, leaving you wanting more. Our waiter (Joe) i believe was absolutely stunning. He caters like no other, but also lets you enjoy your meal, without interupting and still servicing. If i could rate higher, i absolutely would. I will DEFINITELY be back here. Well done The Brewery.”

“Dinner was amazing, but the drink prices were outrageous! I ordered a glass of Chardonnay expecting just a house wine. On our bill we saw 22.00 for a glass, up charge on cocktails as well! I think the waitress did it on purpose looking for a large tip, which we did not tip on the drinks like that. We love this place, but this kinda turned us off. We have been going for over twenty years!”

Overall, you get a lot of bang for your buck here…$25 got us a large pizza, a salad, and a good sized bread with garlic sauce. I liked the pizza! Crust was solid, pepperoni was good, nothing too crazy but on the nail for what we needed. The bread and garlic sauce were my fav,no question about that. Wouldn’t say it’s my go-to Friday night spot, but I’d come back once a month or so. Solid find. Staff was friendly & quick!”

It was very salty which I can only attribute to the rice since it’s chicken based the rest was grilled pork and fresh vegetables. I gave up half way thru just couldn’t handle the salty taste. Maybe they should sample it before serving?”

“We have been coming to this venue for decades; this used to be a health food restaurant called Friar Tucks, where it was conveniently located next to a Weight Watcher meeting place. With all the competition in the area who can blame the owner for flipping this place to have a new modern décor and added incentive of offering alcohol. The wine and cocktail prices are excellent choices with fair prices.

The inside is inviting with an option to sit at either a table or a booth. The new paint and decorations are easy on the eye and offer a relaxing vibe.

There are a lot of choices on the menu, much of the menu remains from it's previous offerings (before renovations). The soups are rock-star delicious. Mom had the Chicken Pot Pie which was dry but she did have a side of gravy to perk it up. I had Fish and chips; the fish was soggy and so/so, the fries were crispy and hot. The silverware was nice and sturdy...not as common as one might think so I appreciated it. The prices are a bit high but not unreasonable given the inflation we have all had to endure the past few years.

Overall, a great meeting place, good food, very nice spirits offering and relaxing vibe.”

“For a family restaurant, Tommy's Diner (name replaced the original one, Greek Pantheon) is wonderful. The staff is so friendly, accommodating, and welcoming. My favorite thing to eat are the wings. They are so meaty, well seasoned, and I'm not sure how they are cooked but they are moist and delicious unlike other places who serve scrawny wings or overcook them.

Their Italian wedding soup is also a favorite of mine.

Prices are decent, never have to wait for a table in their large dining room and they have one heck-of-a- carry out business too!”

“I have ordered from this Kings Pizza about a dozen times now. The value bundle is the best pizza deal around considering how filling the pies are. The square pizzas are nice & crispy Detroit style deep dish. The round pizzas have a delicious chewy crust. I LOVE their breadsticks. “As a burger snob, I wasn't expecting much from this small, newly-opened place, but I was pleasantly surprised. They use Angus beef and put a very nice sear on the burger. Between the crispy sear and the grilled bun, there was some nice texture here. I would have preferred a burger grilled to medium or medium-rare, but I didn't ask so it came out well-done. At under $13 for a large burger, fries, coleslaw and a soda, this was a bargain.”

“First, let me say that if you have not been to Gnocchi Italian, you absolutely MUST GO! This place is amazing. A 10 out of 10! I've been to Italy several times, and Gnocchi Italian serves the absolute best gnocchi that I have ever tasted — even better than 80% of the restaurants in Rome. Everything is made from scratch; the gnocchi is made from ricotta, giving it an incredibly creamy and rich flavor. There are 45 varieties of gnocchi! I had the seafood gnocchi (scallops and jumbo shrimp in lobster sauce served over gnocchi). My companion ordered a breast of chicken over gnocchi smothered in alfredo sauce and topped with Muenster cheese. The proprietor, Chef Jeff, has run this place 8 years, and he is incredibly talented. Of course, they do serve other traditional Italian dishes besides gnocchi. They're all wonderful, from the spaghetti to the lasagna to the meatballs to the veal — everything is done to perfection. The portions are generous. Also, they have excellent red wines which are moderately priced. We ordered a bottle of Merlot. Finally, you will be amazed at their special house creamy garlic salad dressing, and.... the most delicious cream of wild mushroom soup I have ever tasted! If you see it on the menu you must order it, it was out-of-this-world delicious. Our thanks to Chef Jeff, for treating us to an amazing dining experience. You bet we will be back very soon!”

Typically available February thru Easter. Just be prepared for a line on Fat Tuesday and just prior. They will only do orders on 5 dozen or more at these times. But they are worth it!!”

As a point of reference, Spartan Indian is right next-door and Wolverine Harley is right across the street. Service was with a smile and excellent! Far above average for fast food or a sub shop. Seemed to be genuinely good guys! Fries were good, hot and fresh. I’m not a big cheesesteak guy, but this one seemed to be pretty much middle of the road. A dude came around offering free cookies just about the time I finished my sammich, and that was the icing on the cake! Service and cookies were exceptional!”

Locals were very welcoming to someone just wondering in and Annie and Di (the owner) were great with the service and had some good bar food ( not a very extensive menus but when you get a few drinks in you, who doesn’t want some fried cheese?).”

“Cheryl's Diggity Dogs is as American as it gets located in front of Lowe's, the biggest store in a strip mall on a section of Gratiot lined on either side with car dealerships. The hotdogs or polish sausages are great and you can get a pop and bag of chips for not much extra. One of my favorite places for a snack on my way home from work. Cheryl is very friendly, I'm not sure the name of the other employee but she is also nice. My only complaint is that the hours seem slightly irregular”
