“Stopped in for a quick flight and snack. Beers were all good, but the Birch Bark porter was great. The Center Stage Amber stood out for the style as well. Big menu, but we will need to go back and check them out. Pizzas were flying out of the kitchen. Other than being a little loud inside the atmosphere was relaxing and typically brewery style. Lots of TVs though, which is outside the norm of most breweries I visit.

Parking: Parking lot could use repair. It is a shared space so I would not think it is the brewery responsibility other than pressuring the landlord

“The Lakes catered a bridal shower for us today. The food was fantastic and everyone enjoyed it. We had the Michigan Salad, Firecracker Pasta w/Chicken and Salmon w/Citrus Cream Sauce. The entire experience was outstanding. I've dined in before with my family multiple times and the food has always been delicious. I would highly recommend The Lakes.”

“Many moons ago, my wife worked at a Quiznos. On top of that, we both ate at Quiznos a couple of times per week because we were addicted.

Unfortunately, all of the stores in our area (Grand Rapids) closed down.

We were lucky enough to find this location on the way to Detroit, and stopped in on the way to and the way home from Detroit.

The owners are super friendly, the food was as good as I can remember, and we will definitely be back any time we head to the east side of MI.

“If you asked me a few months ago who had the best pizza, I would've probably said jets. However, since I moved to commerce, this place takes the cake! It's so good and very affordable. 5 bucks for two slices and a bottle of pop. Cmon now. The lady at the counter is also so nice. She'll have the slices ready for ya after a few times of her recognizing you. I highly recommend!!!!”

“I would recommend going to the village grill. I went there to eat and I was greeted by a wonderful host, she had a very positive attitude and was very kind towards me. I would recommend this restaurant.”

“One of the best chinese food places on the area. The food is always hot and freshly made when I pick it up, and it doesn't take very long either. I had a General Tso's the other day. The chicken was nice and crispy even after driving home with it. Highly recommend checking this place out if you can!”

Being a native metro Detroiter I recall the days of fabulous almond boneless chicken (ABC) from one particular restaurant. 30+ years later, I’m still searching for that taste. This place is pretty darn close. The lunch combo portion was huge, more than enough for two very generous servings. In fact when I picked up the order the bag was so heavy I checked inside to be sure I had gotten the right order. The chicken was tender and breading crisp despite my not eating it for 45 minutes after picking it up. The gravy is the a bit salty neon yellow I recall. The fried rice with a few bean sprouts mixed in was equally good. I did not care for the eggroll, but its importance was marginal. The place is primarily carryout, although they have a few tables where you can sit and enjoy your food. My order was ready promptly. So if you’re one of those metro Detroiters looking to satisfy”

“Great strawberry shortcake French toast! They were very short-staffed, but the whole crew got together to help the one server. Shows great teamwork. We never had to wait long for anything! Awesome salt and pepper shakers too. Each table had different and unique ones

The food is well prepared. Good portion sizes. Quick and efficient service—they text you when your order is ready, which is convenient!

We’ve ordered a few different foods from this restaurant and we’ve enjoyed all of them. My favorite is the Pineapple Chicken.

It’s not luxury dining, but it’s a great option when you don’t want to cook and would just like a quick and easy, good meal. We spent about $30 for an entree, a combo meal, and a shrimp roll. There was more than enough food for my family of four.”

“On the dunes have so much going on it's hard to even describe it all. Golf simulator party rooms, baseball, football bowling, volleyball, basketball, a huge pool table in the floor that you kick the balls to play and axe throwing just to name a few. Great food and excellent drinks at the bar, inside this huge complex with a great small bar vibe.”

“First time eating from this pizza place and it was by far the best food ever!! Best pizza place in commerce Township. I ordered 2 topping pepperoni and bacon and some bread. It had amazing flavor to it, both the pizza and bambino bread. Bambino bread was so tasty and delicious. It’s my favorite for trying it for the first time. I will be returning to eat here again.”
