“I was in town on Spring Break with my family and we wanted something we normally don't get back at home in Nashville.These folks at the Sahara Restaurant were very welcoming, kind, and respectful. Oh, and they make pretty good food, too!Kafta/Kofte has been my favorite from the Middle Eastern/Mediterranean cuisines and it was a shame that my beat kafta/kofte place back home went out of business ten years ago.When I saw it on the menu here, I had to order it. This was the best kafta I ever had!“
“I just kinda happened by as I was driving around looking for a spot to have lunch. The two guys in there were so friendly and the one said “I make you the best sandwich!”. I had a meat Shawarma and it was really really good. I loved the veggies and the meat was nice and juicy. I asked for garlic sauce on it and it was so good. While I was waiting they offered me a falafel and it was one of the best falafel I’ve had. Definitely gonna order that next time. Oh yes I will be back.“

“03/02/24: Late review, but nonetheless, came looking for something different and decided to try this place on said date. It has some nice decor and is clean. Waitstaff was attentive and checked in occasionally, despite it being peak hours. Dined in around 8pm. I got in quickly since it was just me, but there can be a bit of a wait as there seemed to be a lot of families(a couple of groups of families were waiting), so be ready if you decide to dine in late afternoon/early evening.Food was fantastic. The starter flatbread with the two garlic aioli(?) sauces(normal + spicy) was hot, fresh, and palatable. Got the Fattoush Salad, the Malek Stir-Fry(chicken), and the Chicken Sajji with a strawberry smoothie. All dishes were delicious and full of flavor. The salad was a bit too vinaigrette-ty for my tastes though. The poultry dishes were savory and the Sajji had that right tinge of heat.“

“Staying in a local hotel and decided to try something new. As I’ve never had Lebanese food before, I have nothing to compare it to, but the chicken shawarma is spectacular! The chicken is was juicy and the seasoning was perfect. Our waitress was busy but she did a great job. I would definitely recommend!!“
“This was a decent place. Food was good but a bit dry and they use a mix of dark and white meat chicken for their shawarma. We asked for a lot of garlic sauce and they delivered without charging extra which was a plus. Try the loaded shawarma, it’s unique and delicious.This seems to be more of a take out place but they have a small amount of seating. Service was honestly pretty bad but it was the end of the night and was a little annoying that I had to get up and walk over to ask for anything but the tip reflected it.“
“Tried this restaurant last night. They apologized for the wait because they were very busy and we were told the food would take a little longer. The wait for both was slightly longer, but it so worth the wait. The food was incredible and and plenty of it. I had the chicken mixed with pine nuts, rice with almonds, grilled vegetables and hummus. I don't come from around here but I would definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone.“

“This is one of my favorite restaurants in the area. I dine in or carry out at least once a month if not more. The food is consistently good. My favorite is the Caesar salad with their delicious grilled chicken. I don’t know what they season that chicken with but I’ve never had better. It is so delicious. I also enjoy the spaghetti. They have so many exceptional dishes. I highly recommend. The staff is always so kind. Thanks for great food and great service.“

“I love baba ghanoush with a fiery passion. This place had great baba ghanoush! Delicious lamb falling off the bone. And fantastic shawarma chicken AND beef! Don’t like the looks fool you, this place is rocking. The service was fantastic, all of the staff was incredibly friendly and made extra sure we were satisfied with our food. I WILL be coming back for sure.“
