I just ordered a TBone steak dinner. Ordered a side of mac and cheese for an additional $5. Feel like I got half of my money’s worth. Hate spending $30+ for disappointing meals.

From the first moment you arrive in that restaurant the stuff gives you a great feeling. Very friendly crew, it is a happy restaurant to pass time with your friends or with your date. Great cooking, experienced chef, decent cost and courteous service. Warmly recommended.

Could have been better shrimp Alfredo was more like Alfredo needing shrimp, steak fajitas was real good bread with parmesan needs to be like the Starter on Plymouth in Detroit steak bites were excellent.

My sister and I went to Starter's around 6 or 6:30p Sunday, March 1, 2020. Service was with an attitude (bad). The waitress brought bread and water to the table (w/o bread plates). We waited about 10 minutes before asking a buss boy to let our waitress know we needed plates. Bread is getting cold I thought. 10 minutes more she's at another table across from us. I asked again and she replied I'll bring them. She passed by again and put the plates on the table back handed without looking at us. I asked for a coke and she didn't bring it (half a glass) until another reminder and I'd finished eating. I told her I'm finished. She insisted she could put it in a Togo cup. We were made to feel so in comfortable. I will never return there again. Not just the service was bad but the food was less than fresh (soft broccoli, Mushy corn and sauce drenched ribs).

Maybe it was because I was with a big party. I kidd you not. Our drinks came out with our food and appetizers. Not to mention, I absolutely hate when a server auctions off food. Meaning, the server didnt know who had what. That could be because the food came out 3mins apart mixed with appetizers.

Never go to fairlane Malls starters bar... staffing is horrible. Food wasnt great. Women paid more attention to my husband and what he wanted and took his order. I had to get their attention for my order.
