They post their schedule and provide updates via social media - I follow them on Instagram to know where they'll be and when. My go to is the Peanut Butter Lovers bow with gluten free granola. Such a delicious treat - but what I love most about Lyfe is that they use only the best ingredients. The owner truly cares about health & wellness and her customers - knowing she prioritizes quality ingredients (+ how dang good these açaí bowls are!) is what keeps me coming back.“

“The restaurant was very clean and had amazing customer service. The staff was friendly and attentive. When I ate there, I noticed that they cleaned up right after someone finished their meal, so the space was always clean. The restaurant was very bright and provided a nice atmosphere for dining in, but it was also great for fast food. I didn't even need to call in my order and it was ready in just 10 minutes.“

“This is one of the most fun and delicious experiences I have ever had. There was an epic DJ playing music while we ate. Every bit of the food was amazing, pretty much life changing. My partner and I were almost crying over the brussel sprouts and the sweet potato cheese cake. This place literally made our night. Highly, highly recommend, the staff are sweet and major props to our waitress for helping with my partners allergies, and being kind as hell!“

“Motor city Vegan, is most definitely a hidden gem. The young lady who was cooking, did her thing?. I had the double cheeseburger and my daughter had the chopped bodega burger. Delicious!!! The only downfall, the fries were greasy. However, I do recommend you place your order on line. I will most definitely go back.Vegetarian options: The burgers I ordered were delicious and seasoned well. I can't wait to get back and try more. Great job!!!!“

Once at their pop-up in Cork Town (highly recommend following their IG for info!), once at a food policy conference which they catered, and recently i was able to get out to their brick and mortat on Woodard. All three occasions did not disappoint! the complexity of flavor, the locally sourced ingredients, and the joyous staff make Pink Flamingo a true gastronomy.i will spend a little time talking about the two events in the past. Other than the fact that i literally ate 6 chicken salad sandwiches and took one to go at the conference (nuff said). However, in my most recent experience i was driving up Woodward and decided to pop in and see what was on the menu this week. The Quesadilla dinner caught my eye. Three quesadillas, filled with a protein of your choice, come with two sides. For protein, i went with the blackened white fish, and for sides, i chose beans and fried plantains. Rich and piquant flavor on the fish, met by a crispy cheezy quesadilla, all together it was savory and scrumptious. Plus, the sides were perfect additions, the plantains offering a sweet and salty bite and the beans cooked perfectly. Loved every bite and can't wait to make Pink Flamingo a regular lunch spot!Also great storefront, they sell locally made products so it's great to see those dollars stay in the community and the collaborative promotion of other businesses! And the staff were super friendly coming from around the counter to talk with us. Also, for a Friday at 3, the place was not too busy at all. Quiet, easy in and out.If you are having an event, have them cater.If it's Thursday in the summer and you're looking to kick back around a fire and fill your face with nutritious, delicious, and creative food, go to the Cork Town spot (weather permitting).“

The cornbread was delicious…it was moist…salty and sweet…everything you want from cornbread…I couldn’t tell it was vegan honestly. The the vegan ribs were great too.
