We came here for our anniversary and had a good experience. I loved the staycation cocktail, the calamari and the the sea scallops were the best I’ve ever had. Sadly the lamb appetizer was over cooked and the prime rib was chewy. Not great. It was also served with burnt hummus. Our waitress was good to me but seemed irritated with us that the steak wasn’t great. We won’t be rushing back any time soon. But we love Detroit and trying new restaurants.
We absolutely loved our first dinner at BESA! Honestly, for us the star of the show was the fresh focaccia. SO pillowy and crispy and perfectly salted. Pulled lamb shoulder, sea scallops, grilled artichoke and BESA fries... all clean plates. We will be returning with friends!! Thank you!
