“I placed an online order. The food was ready when I arrived. I got a steak bowl, a chicken and steak bowl, a banana bread pudding cup and a strawberry banana bread pudding cup. I personally ate the chicken and steak bowl and the strawberry banana bread bowl. The bowl was pretty decent. Good amount of meat, I smelled thw onions more than I saw them. I had my Hummus and garlic sauce on the side (a bit salty but piar with food and some lettuce and it will be ok). I would have the bowl again. Do not EVER get the strawberry banana bread pudding up. They put whip cream in the cup with a banana bread muffin. Some strawberry syrup and banana jello pudding mix. If it was truly that. I got lemon pepper seasoning on the side, but after starting to eat my food, I totally forgot to put it on as it was so flavorable without it. “Great black owned gem right at the border of Grosse Pointe. Besides the mandatory 20% gratuity on every bill, I can't complain. Best wings and potato skins in town. “This was brought to me via grub hub so the review is just on the food, not the service. This potato is massive!! Let me start with that. This potato is pretty basic with bacon, cheese and chives. It comes with a side of sour cream. You have the option of adding additional protein or toppings at a charge. What came on this was plenty for the size of the potato. I did have to come in with salt and pepper as it really was not seasoned at all. This should have salted butter added to the potato before the toppings to give it some flavor. As it stands the potato is pretty bland on it's own. I like the value for what i received. The potential is truly there. It would be nice if a garlic butter add on was possible or even the option to just add butter to the potato before toppings applied.“

The guys were super friendly, helpful, and even walked the food to my car when it was ready. The chicken sandwich was fantastic--made to order; juicy and crunchy; well-seasoned; and on a brioche bun with fresh accompaniments (pickles, mayo, Bermuda onion, baby spinach). Another nice surprise-- it also came with a bottle of water and fries. Fried were great--hot, crisp, with just enough seasoning. Great presentation in the to-go box and traveled well the five minutes back to the office. Will definitely be looking for Heavenly Chicken and Waffles again to try their spicy chicken sandwich next!“
