This was a great choice for a birthday dinner. The dining room was spacious and quiet; we were not rushed, our server was eager to discuss food and drinks; and the menu included distinctive dishes. The only weak spot was desserts. Everything was great. I highly recommended this place.

We went to Lady of the House on a recommendation of a local. We had no idea what was in store for us. From start to finish, we were impressed every step of the way. Upon entering, you know you are in a very special place. The atmosphere is lovely. Filled with everything pleasing.

So disappointed. Was really looking forward to dining here. The waitress seemed annoyed the entire time—like we were bothering her by being there. Ran out of water several times. Had to ask 2x for plates (the food came and they didn’t notice as didn’t have plates or utensils). The other couple we were with felt the same. Most of the food was excellent. Service was terrible.

If you're a foodie - this place is a must! We had the fresh oysters served with two fresh sauces sourced from their garden which were delish. Seared scallops were perfect.And don't doubt that the Carrot Steak is one of the most unique dishes (vegetarian or otherwise) that you will ever taste.Service was warm and exceptional - shout out to Andrew our server who took great care of us.Will be back soon!

This was the best meal I have in a very long time. WOW. Every single course was absolutely mouthwatering. Don't miss the potato donuts. Also, Andrew was the most outstanding server. Kudos to Lady of the House - also felt super safe during COVID. Absolutely fantastic, if you are in the Detroit area you cannot miss it!

Amazing food and great service. We had a party of 4 and ordered the cheese platter along with 3 small plates and the blade steak. We came home with a couple small leftovers. It was the best steak I've ever had and I didn't know carrots or shrimp could taste so good!

The menu was extremely small, even for fine dining standards. Unfortunately there just was not much on the menu I enjoyed. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was nice and cozy.
Lady of the House is just so beautiful and cozy in the Fall and Winter with the fireplace, dim lighting and candles; warm and inviting. A large group of us came for snacks and cocktails, and everything I tasted was unique and perfectly cooked. My favorite thing was actually the warm chocolate chip cookies, and I would return just for those. They are simply amazing. It's pricey, so i don't see coming here often or for a full dinner, but definitely again for drinks and snacks.

Our first time here was back in 2018. If you are looking for a romantic dinner and unique food options, Lady is the spot for you. One of their most popular dishes is the chicken dinner. We opted for the prime rib, which was very delicious. They also have quite the options for appetizers. If you are celebrating a special day, they will most certainly make you feel special. This restaurant not only has amazing food, but the overall ambience....warm, cozy, and very intimate. They have recently opened back up with safety precautions in place.

I have made a reservation on their site. It restricts the number of people to 4. I have 5 in my party. I have tried to call them 18 times over 3 days and have yet to have a human being answer. Is this customer service?One more day of trying and I'll have to cancel the reservation and find somewhere else to entertain my guests.
