We had a couple drinks. Didn't eat. It was fun enough for a small hotel bar. We were not staying at the hotel. We were visiting.

We are staying at the Trumbull & Porter hotel and having the Red Dunn Kitchen attached to it is amazing! The food is great, the drinks are great and the patio is amazing! Especially with everything going on, we were still able to order our food to go and drink on the patio safely. Highly recommend!

The food was excellent and I had an absolute blast here. The lamp shades are made of silicone, so you don't crack your noggin if you bump one whilst standing up. The guy singing was a hoot.Overall, amazing in all directions.

interesting menu and nice atmosphere but very inconsistent service and food.

We weren't planning to try this place, it was spur of the moment. The food was very very good, but we suspect it was either close to when the restaurant officially opened or new front of the house staff. The front of the house staff seemed either confused or ill-equipped. Let's get to the food though. Calling all mushroom lovers. Please get their wild mushroom appetizer. Oh so so good. It's earthy from the mushrooms and salty from the cheese. It was empty before the entrees arrived, nothing left. The fried chicken was almost a deconstructed chicken sandwich. I actually read it on the menu as if it was a sandwich so when it arrived, I wasn't expecting it to be a fried chicken dish. It was my fault, the menu was correct though. There's spicy, sweet, savory all constructed throughout the dish. Well executed. They have probably worked out the kinks since I was there so I'm looking forward to returning and trying some more. Maybe making room for the mushrooms again.

I love this place! High class, low key atmosphere. I have been here twice and each time the food/service has been excellent!

Service not the greatest. Eggs were cooked wrong for 4 people and one person didnt even get a meal that was ordered.

This restaurant is attached to the Trumbull and Porter hotel. Prices a bit expensive but we were tired and hungry after being at athletic event all day. Food was good but the service was so slow we about left after being tired of waiting so long. Decided to give it another try for breakfast...again, food was good but the service and wait unacceptable. Especially cuz we were two of only a small handful of patrons waiting to eat.

Came here approximately around 12:30 in the afternoon on a Sunday, and the place was surprisingly not busy given the time. Unfortunately, I can see why. Myself and another waited approximately one hour to receive our food... which was French toast and the hash. Both of us were very patient but would have honesty left earlier if we had known it would take so long.

The food was good (overpriced), the service was horrendous. No one greeted us, so we kind of wandered over to a table after about 5 minutes. There were people at one or two other tables at the time, so not busy. The whole time it was awkward because the waitress seemed like she was annoyed that we were there. My friend ordered yogurt with fruit and politely asked to just have the fruit taken back because it looked a bit old, THEN the chef (I think) came out of the back to scold her for asking to take the fruit back! He basically called her a liar and reprimanded her. I have NEVER experienced a lack of hospitality or service like that. We asked to speak to the manager, but she never came out, and apparently she would not take the fruit off of the bill for an $11 yogurt. I will not be returning.

The one plus here is they have their own parking lot. Can't beat that. I decided on this place after trying to find a parking spot in downtown on Fort Street. Had zero luck and had to pick another place, so, here I am. Decided to start with the beet salad, hope it's better than Wright's. They changed their menu a month ago, what an utter bummer. No wild mushrooms, no deviled eggs, might I mention those two were the ones that drew me to this place in the first place. Ugh. What now? Nothing else on the menu is appealing to me at all. Maybe I will have to settle for some hummus then. Might be going somewhere else tonight in the end afterwards then. The beet salad was okay, nice fresh arugula, decent orange vinaigrette. The orange slices are a bit old and dried out. The goat cheese is the highlight of the salad. I am not excited about the beet salad, it's not special. The goat cheese is the only thing that makes it even palatable to me tonight. It's not very busy for a Friday night, nearly 7pm. I am already thinking about where I will eat my main meal now. I know, it's bad. What's a good spot nearby and that's not lady of the house, was just there last week. Hmm. They should really rethink their menu again and maybe bring back some of the items that had a draw for me in the front place. Now there are 5 of us at the bar, no one at any of the dining rooms. You would think some people from the hotel would eat here, not so. I have a bad sinking feeling this place won't be here for very long.

Brunch on Jan 19 was terrible. Service was slow. Food came out cold. And it took forever for us to get our check. This place got so many good reviews, we were definitely surprised and not satisfied with the experience.

Service is horrible, they are slow, rude, and act like you’re an inconvenience. They close the restaurant and bar randomly. The menu says that they have specials but when you ask what the specials are, they tell you that they don’t have any specials. The food is expensive and not worth the price. We walked in at 8:45pm and they yelled from the bar that they were closed. The website says that they close at 10pm. They refused to serve us. Definitely would not recommend this place and I will not be coming back. We gave them 2 attempts and they failed both times.

Not a good choice for a meal. I ordered the breakfast burrito, which was bland and the tortilla was barely warm while the ingredients were overcooked. Couldn't smell or taste the chorizo that should have been in the burrito. The waitress repeatedly poured coffee into the cup of my co-diner, who ordered tea. I might visit again for coffee and dessert, but not for a meal.
