“I've never eaten anything here, so this review is only for the drinks. They offer an extensive wine, beer and cocktail menu, so you always can find something you are interested in and will be happy with. I've only ever sat at the bar, but due to this, my service experience has been very different from many other reviews, and I've experienced great service. Atmosphere could use a bit of work, but it's a beer grotto, and pretty much as expected.“

“I was so impressed with this place. Even though they have a high overall rating, there seemed to be some concerns about service and prices. Ok, so this place isn't cheap by any means and if you are starving, go elsewhere, but the food was delicious. We had the hirmasa which was amazing, the pickes which were good, the branzino which was delicious, the steamed clams and mussels which were uniquely yummy, and the short rib pho. We also had the sticky rice dessert which was fruity and interesting. We ordered several drinks from the menu and didn't dislike any of them. They are very different yet good. Our server, Nick, checked on us regularly and didn't let us go without food or a drink. I will be back.“

“I dined with my 4 year old & two 13 year olds. We all shared two baskets of fries, a Club and a tenders app. Including a beer & Pepsi the total only $50. The real 5 ⭐️ goes to the service staff. I’ve truly never experienced better. My toddler dropped her water glass which shattered under our table. Before I knew what had happened the staff were at our table to help. We stood out of the way where someone helped me dry her pants & replaced her water. The staff cleaned the mess then moped/dried the floor within ~3 min. It was AMAZING. Thank you!!“

“My visit to the Carlyle Grill was for a work event and we were in a separate room. While our service was fantastic, the food was not what I expected. However, based on a buffet style meal, I would like to go back and have the full guest experience. I think it’s worth the trip.“

“Aventura has been on our list for a while, I’m so glad we finally made a reservation! The food was absolutely delicious, and wonderful customer service. We sat at the bar, and everyone that we encountered was so friendly, they took great care of us. Our favorites were Milhojas Bravas (potato pave with garlic aioli), Datiles con Chorizo (bacon wrapped chorizo stuffed dates), and Setas a la Planxa (seared wild mushrooms). They brought “birthday churros” for my husband, they were also fantastic! Can’t wait to go back and try more of the menu items!“

“This neighborhood bar may be unassuming from the outside, but when you arrive upstairs it's a warm and inviting atmosphere. It's not the largest place, but the smaller size just adds to the cozy character. The menu has a number of excellent cocktail and drink options with excellent bartenders. Personally, the Hurricane drink that they make is my favorite. If you want an intimate evening of drinks with a date or a night with a few friends, this is the perfect place.“

The atmosphere was great, they had a waiter for drinks & appetizers, 3/4 comedian’s last time were super funny, & I had the best time for my birthday! “We stayed for two nights while visiting the Ann Arbor area. It was an easy check-in process. The front desk staff were professional and friendly. Our room was on the fourth floor and quiet. It was spacious and clean and appears to have been recently renovated. The bed was comfortable. We enjoyed the door out to the balcony overlooking the pool. The pool area was nice and had a hot tub and a sauna which we used. We appreciated that there were adult swim times after 9pm. An employee had come through shortly after 9 and spoke to someone whose teenager was still swimming, I'm assuming that it was to let them know that it was adult only time as the teenager had gotten out of the pool. We ate breakfast at the restaurant both days and the food was really good. There was plenty of parking and was easily accessible to the entrance and elevator. I think the Weber is a good value for the experience. I would definitely consider staying there again if I was visiting the area.“

“Stopped here to have dinner after doing some shopping in Chelsea. It was busy, we sat at the bar and the bartender greeted us and took our drink order right away. You could tell there were many regulars dining here, and I can see why. Fish and chips were excellent, crispy, cooked perfect, not greasy or fishy tasting. My wife had the Reuben, which she raved about. Beer was nice and cold, service was awesome, and it’s a cozy place.“

“Went here last summer to see kill bill the rapper then once again to see Rav. fantastic and tight experience give a great scene for an excited audience and both performers absolutely rocked the house for us. i really hope i find more concerts id love to attend “

“Our first time having legit Detroit-style pizza and it didn’t disappoint (coming from an admitted pizza snob). We were in town for the Thunder Over Michigan air show. Being exhausted from the workdays event, we were searching for comfort in a delicious, warm pizza on a rainy night. Wanting to dine-in, we passed on a few other closer pizzerias to our hotel. Service was excellent & friendly (our server chatted with us about the airplanes and that her son was planning on education in the aviation field). Pizza was tasty and quick to the table. It was late evening; but, this did not affect the quality of service or the food. Well lit, clean interior and a cool place to visit. If we are ever back this way, we will definitely visit again. Thank you all for the excellent food and welcoming atmosphere.“

“This was a good stop on our bar crawl. The staff were friendly and helpful and fast. And the drinks were good. Only complaint is they only have 2 single person restrooms available for the whole bar and it was absolutely packed. So the line for the restroom was excessive.“

“Haven’t attended a concert in the little venue area but the bar itself has become one of my all time favorites since moving to the area. Always an amazing selection of beer, cool staff, and the atmosphere is literally perfect. Sports on multiple TVs, the best music selection possible, the lighting is awesome at night, and not to mention it’s connected to Jets pizza so you can get pizza by the slice as you drink. We love this bar and we look forward to going there much more in the future.“

I just wanted to watch the second half of the women’s bball game and relax after being in bad traffic. Zukey’s was the perfect spot.Also a shout out to the young girls working in the “middle” section. They allowed me to sit in that area so I was able to hear the game as well as watch. Great staff!“

The bread at the beginning of the meal was a little dry and oddly paired with a sweet butter, but then we ordered a pretzel and the cheese sauce it came with was some of the best I've ever had. Then came the French Dip and sweet potato fries. I thought I had died and gone to heaven. The waiter informed me that they had made some recipe changes and instead of caramelized onions and garlic aoili it is now served with fried onions and horseradish sauce. Whoever made those changes deserves a raise. Granted I've never tried the previous version of this sandwich, but it's current iteration is the perfect combination of flavors and textures. I'm not sure if I'll ever enjoy another French dip again. And the sweet potatoes fries were perfectly crunchy on the outside, but so soft and sweet inside. I will absolutely be back... And soon!“

“I want this restaurant to succeed! We need good pizza downtown.The pizza was very tasty and the salads were really generously sized.The only problem was that we took out, and the hot pizza was placed directly into the box without a liner to slightly hold it off the bottom, so it was soggy instead of crisp. Detroit pizza should be crisp.The leftovers were perfect when heated in the oven, since it crisped the crust.“

You definitely get a feel that it's a local bar where a lot of people attend regularly, but still friendly enough that if you're not a local. Food was all right. Nothing spectacular. “Mash doesn't have food, but the rest of it is amazing. They have a mix of different bourbons, whiskeys from all over the world, and of course your generic spirits. “We visited for the first time for dinner on a Saturday night. There was no wait and we were seated immediately in a beautifully decorated and private booth. The waiter came immediately with chips and salsa and took our drink orders. We ordered a side of guacamole and it was good - seasoned well with chunky tomatoes, onion and cilantro. We ordered and our food was out in less than 10 minutes! I got a burrito with lettuce, tomato, sour cream and guacamole on top with rice and beans on the side. It was a huge plate and I could only eat half of it. It was very good and I took the rest home for the next day. My husband got a burrito and enchilada and enjoyed his as well.Vegetarian options: Large vegetarian combo section.“
