“Es muy bueno. I love, love all of the veg choices. The elote (Mexican street corn) was a thermally hot cob sweated by spices, cheese, and mayonnaise. The black beans were whole and gentle tasting, with a spritz of shredded white cheese. The cheese enchilada was gooey and topped with a sauce with a slight kick. The potato flauta (yes, potato!) had a perfectly crispy shell, lettuce, and a delicate white sauce. My tamale had a mushy corn filling with a wonderfully earth flavor and with piquant cheese inside.I wish we had this back in my metro Detroit hood. Enjoy it, Ann Arborites and Dexter denizens.“

“We love Chapala in downtown Ann Arbor. Our party came in early on a Saturday afternoon, just ahead of dinner rush (which we highly recommend) and by the time we left there was a line out the door! Which does not surprise me, the staff is friendly and inviting, fun atmosphere making you forget you’re in Michigan and feel like you’re drinking margaritas on the sunny shores of Mexico. The chips were warm and fresh, the salsa has the right amount of spice, guacamole is fresh and delicious. On this visit I enjoyed the Steak Quesadilla for the first time (very tasty!) and our entire party was pleased with their meals as well. Last but certainly not least the margaritas are great. If you’re looking for a Mexican dining experience, Chapala stands out above most others. I can’t wait to come back!“

“This is the best Latin food outside of a cookout you will find in Ann arbor. I mean that from the bottom of my heart. Not only is it amazing but it is consistent the first day me and my wife got it. We had to go back the next day. And it was just as good. They have great vegetarian options and the staff is super friendly. I also love the periodical music that's live in the next room. Whether to go or in-house with a beer, you cannot go wrong. I've lived here my whole life and I've never tasted Latin food this good. Why are you still reading this? “Tried this place on a whim. The food was insanely good and made fresh. There were options for all ages. I think I’ve found my new favorite Mexican spot. There’s new seating inside as well. The staff is super nice. We can’t wait to come back.“

“We enjoyed everything except the carne asada tacos, which were bland, and the meat was dry with little flavor. It felt like boiled meat and not juicy grilled steak. However, our other tacos, queso cheese, and salsa were fantastic. The price is pretty reasonable, too.“

“I’ve been wanting to try Moe’s for a while, so we finally made a 30 minute drive to try it and it was even better than I expected. It’s very similar to Chipotle and Qdoba, but tastes wayyyy better. It is a little more expensive, but it’s so worth it. Their queso is the best queso I have ever had. They also had some fresh ingredients that other places don’t have, like fresh white onions and fresh jalapeños. Our burritos also came with a pretty big side of chips at no extra charge. And the employees were all so nice and helpful. We loved it, and we will definitely be back“

“Excellent environment! Very familiar. Servers are very polite, friendly, helpful! Food tastes very good. Good cocktails, and other drinks variety.Just one observation: restrooms are not labeled. So anybody can use any available restroom. I think women should have their own one. It's kind of awkward to see men leaving a restroom that a lady is been waiting to use! Women are delicate! They should have their privacy respected!“

“Any time I see Tacos El Mariachi Loco outside of 734 Brewing I need to stop. The mushroom tacos and empanadas are so good and made to order (I get them without cheese). Very consistent anytime I go. Decent prices too. Definitely one of my favorite local food trucks!“

“We visited for the first time for dinner on a Saturday night. There was no wait and we were seated immediately in a beautifully decorated and private booth. The waiter came immediately with chips and salsa and took our drink orders. We ordered a side of guacamole and it was good - seasoned well with chunky tomatoes, onion and cilantro. We ordered and our food was out in less than 10 minutes! I got a burrito with lettuce, tomato, sour cream and guacamole on top with rice and beans on the side. It was a huge plate and I could only eat half of it. It was very good and I took the rest home for the next day. My husband got a burrito and enchilada and enjoyed his as well.Vegetarian options: Large vegetarian combo section.“
