“Absolutely adored this place! We tried to do a walk in a few months back but got the vibe it was best reserved. We came back for our anniversary and am so pleased we did!!! They had our table set with a tea light candle and a small card for the occasion. Our server was so kind, checked in just enough but not too much- and even offered a free dessert. The FOOD! Was so fresh and the miso soup incredibly filling. It all came reasonably fast too. I will be back!”

Michigan State has 50000+ on-campus students, multiply that by family and friends, and if some of you visitors seek authentic Indian food try Swagath. \nIf You E. Lansing Swagath owner/operator folks are checking your reviews, we really liked everything , but we suggest you find an interior advisor (e.g. some where around MSU, and change your lighting). “I had a great dinner in the Bistro 43 Grand Room Bar. Andrii, the server, provided excellent service. Jeffrey, the Cook, prepared a wonderful Mediterranean Veggie Chicken Bowel. Also, the Grand Room has amazing interior design. They serve non-alcoholic beer. It an excellent—often overlooked—East Lansing dinning experience.”

“Went there this evening to get some takeout--a salad and two entrees. The person who waited on us was very helpful, guiding us through the online ordering process. And the food was sensational! A great salad, and my dinner a poke bowl with raw tuna, was so delicious I had to force myself to stop eating it even though I was full. My wife's dinner was also really tasty, and now we both have leftover that we're looking forward to. I can't believe we'd never been there before--the place is less than five minutes from our house. “I stopped in for the first time to treat myself for my bday because one of my friends recommended this place. The owners were so nice, the store had a nice relaxing feeling and everything in the cases looked fresh, pretty & delicious. I bought a few things which included a lemon pound cake cookie and wow it has to be one of the best lemon cookies I’ve ever had! I’m glad I stopped in and recommend you stop in sometime too. Multiple times I have ordered or placed large orders to be shared with family, volunteers and the Ronald McDonald House of Mid-Michigan - ALL the food has been delicious. The muffins moist (I know how some love that word! haha). The staff has always been very friendly, including accommodating some special requests needed for my specific deliveries. I feel they even went above and beyond on my last order (08/31) and greatly appreciate it. I will definitely be returning for future partnership!”

“Sree Saffron is the best Indian restaurant in the area!! Every single time I visit in person or order delivery the food is AMAZING. It’s so flavorful and has SPICE. Their Gobi Manchurian has the perfect level of spice and crunch that serves to highlight and blend with the cauliflower. I also have ordered their paneer butter masala and their chicken tikka masala (spice level: medium) and have loved them. Spicy medium level is perfect for me in that it’s spicy enough for you to taste it but can still enjoy the meal (it’s not burning your lips or have a runny nose). Will definitely always come here for Indian food.”

“This is a pretty cool bar. We've been there a few times. The atmosphere is great. They're usually so busy that the service is hit or miss. The food is tasty bar food. My only gripe is that it's not gluten allergen friendly. Their best food are burgers and all the burgers come with fries that are have bread coating. There's really no substitute. If you're looking for a cool bar, go here. If you have gluten issues, skip it. There's better options elsewhere in EL.”

“Dear Mitten Raised Bakery, Catering/Wedding - We worked with Katie to cater/deliver 160 cupcakes and a 8" cake for our wedding. We would 150% recommend Mitten Raised! Katie (owner) was amazing from the moment I inquired about her services (about 6 months prior) to when she delivered them with her team. We ended up getting strawberry shortcake and lemon drops in a cake cup, and shoreline and a marbled decorative cupcakes, They were all delicious and our guests are still raving about them. We also ordered a simple white cake for us to cut, and honestly it was one of my favorites - it was just the right amount of sweetness, flavor, and texture! Katie was also very responsive and sweet throughout multiple emails. I had to change the count and flavors multiple times, and she responded instantly and always in a friendly manner. We've also been into Mitten Raised for separate sweet-treat occasions, and it never disappoints! Please consider catering through Mitten Raised! We love their baked goods, professionality, and if we were to ever have a large event again - I would book them in a heartbeat.”

“This is some of the most amazing Middle Eastern food I've had! We visited here earlier this year as we were trying it out as a potential catering option for my sister's wedding, and tried both the vegetarian and meat versions of the Sultan's Feast. They were amazing, and we did choose them for the wedding this past September.\n\nEverything was amazing and flavorful. Even though we gave them a smaller head count than needed we still had SO much leftover (which our family feasted on for two weeks afterwards and I still was not sick of it). The salads were fresh and flavorful (Tabbouli and fattoush), the hummous and baba ghanooj were creamy and tangy, I loved the yellow rice, the falafel was moist, the grape leaves were fantastic (we didn't even have any left over), the various grilled meats were tasty, but the BEST of all (to me) was the grilled eggplant which was out of this world divine. Flavorful, creamy, tender, tangy....I still dream of that eggplant. (It was the first of the leftovers to go, haha.)\n\nAlso, as wedding food, it was a big hit - a good variety of food for meat eaters and vegetarians alike, and it was fresh and flavorful without being too heavy or boring. It was also much more cost effective than traditional wedding catering (and much higher quality in my opinion!)”

I got a large brown sugar milk tea and had to add .75 cents for tapioca. My total was over $7 in my opinion too much. The establishment is cute and modern. They have coffee too. They are running a special on $3 iced teas. The bubble waffle looked yummy.”

Taking two toddlers out to a restaurant can be a pain, even when they behave decently but Coral Gables has an environment where we can stretch out, take our time, and still get to eat. On top of that the food is delicious.”

“I normally order from the Okemos location and they are wonderful. tonight I ordered from the Lansing location and was really disappointed. First they forgot one of my sides and the sides for both kids meals I ordered. Thankfully, I checked before driving 20 minutes home. Then when we got home, I had ordered two chicken quesadillas, and not only did both quesadillas lack chicken, they were burnt and too hard/ crunchy for my kids to eat.”

“The Starbucks on the MSU campus is a fantastic spot for students, faculty, and visitors alike! The atmosphere is always welcoming and busy. I happen to be a visitor but the staff here are incredibly friendly and efficient, even during busy hours.
As a local Realtor, I think Starbucks a great place to take a break from my busy schedule. Next time you’re on Campus, check it out. It’s between the MSU Spirit Shop and MSU Store, for a quick snack or a new MSU shirt. ”

“You really gotta try it!! This is one of my favorite restaurants in the US; every time I order, I got those juicy meat balls, ribs, and pork belly; you haven’t experienced bliss before, wait until they melt in your mouth.

They come in big portions at reasonable prices, the re are only two person working in the shop, but what they deliver is not something to dismiss.

I haven’t tried the English menu so I can’t really comment on that, but my friends like the rice noodles, fried rice, and sweet & sour chicken.”

“I’m visiting from out of town. In Seattle we have Starbucks on every corner, literally… so I’ve been to a good share of Starbucks locations. This one is, by far, one of the best I’ve been to. Order was prompt and perfect, but what really stands out is the welcoming, friendly service from everyone at this location. And, the indoor and outdoor seating available makes this a great choice if you are in the area. I will definitely stop by every time I’m in East Landing”

“One of my favorite MSU dining halls. They may not have so many options like Brody, but they stand out for uniqueness. Tandoori kitchen at Akers provided tasty South Asian dishes. However, after covid-19, food options were limited because of staff shortage. I don't know what the current condition is. Nonetheless, I hope to visit this if I am in town again.”

“The atmosphere is great for studying and the baristas are absolutely fantastic. I want to like this place, but my drink always seems to have some sort of problem, which should not be the case since my drink was nearly $9. The boba is often too hard, drinks are overly sweet, drink options are limited, and the drink consistency is too thick and smoothie-like. Might be good for some people, but I'd rather go to a place like Möge Tea.

Parking: Small paid parking lot with approximately 15 spaces. Tends to be mostly full, with a few spots avaliable.

Wheelchair accessibility: Lacks an automatic opening door and the bathroom door is quite heavy, but should be accessible otherwise.”

“I am a chef who came in with my wife... critiquing this place doesn't exactly sit right with me, because they have done an overall fantastic job...so let's start there..first off the music played that day was absolute perfection for the time, and number of people inside. The person taking care of us went out of her way to make me something not offered on the menu. The decor was warm and clean...I was wondering how it would be if they were really busy...about those issues though...having water already on the table is ok, but put it in a decanter you can't see the minerals through, shot glasses are not glasses..and she gave me ice cold syrup for the waffle I ordered.....other than that FANTASTIC...my wife and I enjoyed being there and WILL RETURN”
