“Absolutely adored this place! We tried to do a walk in a few months back but got the vibe it was best reserved. We came back for our anniversary and am so pleased we did!!! They had our table set with a tea light candle and a small card for the occasion. Our server was so kind, checked in just enough but not too much- and even offered a free dessert. The FOOD! Was so fresh and the miso soup incredibly filling. It all came reasonably fast too. I will be back!”

“Since we have been there our first time this is our go to family restaurant when we are in the East Lansing area. Taking two toddlers out to a restaurant can be a pain, even when they behave decently but Coral Gables has an environment where we can stretch out, take our time, and still get to eat. On top of that the food is delicious.”

“BAPS is easily one of the best Korean BBQ spots in the area. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly, and the variety of sides they bring out is honestly amazing. Their kimchi is especially incredible — perfectly flavorful, fresh, and honestly some of the best I’ve had. I also love that they have so many great non-BBQ dishes, so there’s something for everyone. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and all of the waitresses are incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming which makes the whole experience even better. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers. Every time I go, the service and food are consistently incredible. Highly recommend if you want delicious food and an all-around great dining experience!”

Also, the Grand Room has amazing interior design. They serve non-alcoholic beer. It an excellent—often overlooked—East Lansing dinning experience.”

“Went here for a night out in the beautiful EL and was served by Ella. She went above and beyond by continually providing prompt service always with a smile on her face. Even when my close colleague was lying on the floor she continued to provide great assistance by gathering both waters and mozzarella sticks (10/10) for him. I have since chosen her as my godmother for my 2nd oldest and she has continued to provide amazing service for us all!”

“Went there this evening to get some takeout--a salad and two entrees. The person who waited on us was very helpful, guiding us through the online ordering process. And the food was sensational! A great salad, and my dinner a poke bowl with raw tuna, was so delicious I had to force myself to stop eating it even though I was full. My wife's dinner was also really tasty, and now we both have leftover that we're looking forward to. I can't believe we'd never been there before--the place is less than five minutes from our house. The owners were so nice, the store had a nice relaxing feeling and everything in the cases looked fresh, pretty & delicious. “Bowl and Above is a great spot for Poke if you are in the area. The ordering system is similar to fueld where you place your via Kiosk and wait for it to be prepared.

I ordered a poke bowl and everything was delicious! Their grilled tofu was quite good and I enjoyed their yum yum sauce! I also really enjoyed the theme of the restaurant. It is very anime forward, with a lot of art from anime like Inuyasha and One Piece. There is also a section of board games that you can play while waiting for your food.

I really enjoyed my time here and I look forward to ordering from here again. I also would love to see more anime represented or perhaps some arcade cabinets to really fill out the vibe!”

Multiple times I have ordered or placed large orders to be shared with family, volunteers and the Ronald McDonald House of Mid-Michigan - ALL the food has been delicious. The muffins moist (I know how some love that word! haha). The staff has always been very friendly, including accommodating some special requests needed for my specific deliveries. I feel they even went above and beyond on my last order (08/31) and greatly appreciate it. I will definitely be returning for future partnership!”

“An MSU staple. The outside seating has a unique ambiance. Enjoyed the cheeseburger lunch. The burger tastes a lot what your mom might fry in a pan when you were a kid. Solid, but not striking. Bun was larger than patty, which is something I don’t like. Fries are solid. Overall good value, great atmosphere with nostalgia. Pic is of my wife’s burger, no mayo here lol.”

“Dear Mitten Raised Bakery, Catering/Wedding - We worked with Katie to cater/deliver 160 cupcakes and a 8" cake for our wedding. We would 150% recommend Mitten Raised! Katie (owner) was amazing from the moment I inquired about her services (about 6 months prior) to when she delivered them with her team. We ended up getting strawberry shortcake and lemon drops in a cake cup, and shoreline and a marbled decorative cupcakes, They were all delicious and our guests are still raving about them. We also ordered a simple white cake for us to cut, and honestly it was one of my favorites - it was just the right amount of sweetness, flavor, and texture! Katie was also very responsive and sweet throughout multiple emails. I had to change the count and flavors multiple times, and she responded instantly and always in a friendly manner. We've also been into Mitten Raised for separate sweet-treat occasions, and it never disappoints! Please consider catering through Mitten Raised! We love their baked goods, professionality, and if we were to ever have a large event again - I would book them in a heartbeat.”

I got a large brown sugar milk tea and had to add .75 cents for tapioca. My total was over $7 in my opinion too much. The establishment is cute and modern. They have coffee too. They are running a special on $3 iced teas. The bubble waffle looked yummy.”

“I normally order from the Okemos location and they are wonderful. tonight I ordered from the Lansing location and was really disappointed. First they forgot one of my sides and the sides for both kids meals I ordered. Thankfully, I checked before driving 20 minutes home. Then when we got home, I had ordered two chicken quesadillas, and not only did both quesadillas lack chicken, they were burnt and too hard/ crunchy for my kids to eat.”

“Held a surprise birthday party in their VIP room for close to 35 people. They allowed early access to the room so I could decorate. The food and service was wonderful! I chose to provide food for the guests and the Taco/Fajita buffet they set up and maintained was exceptional! Everyone loved the food! Guests were able to buy drinks and Maria did a great job keeping everyone happy! I highly recommend this place for your event, meal or happy hour. “I recently visited Hongs Cafe Cafe and Bar and had a really good experience. I ordered the hot pot and it was awesome. The soup was flavorful and everything tasted fresh. If you like hot pot or malatang, this is definitely a great place to try.

The only thing is that it’s a little on the pricey side — the hot pot soup was around $32. It’s very good quality, but you can find hot pot for a bit cheaper at some other places.

Overall though, the food was delicious, the atmosphere was nice, and it was a great spot to enjoy a hot pot meal. I would definitely come back again!”

“I’m visiting from out of town. In Seattle we have Starbucks on every corner, literally… so I’ve been to a good share of Starbucks locations. This one is, by far, one of the best I’ve been to. Order was prompt and perfect, but what really stands out is the welcoming, friendly service from everyone at this location. And, the indoor and outdoor seating available makes this a great choice if you are in the area. I will definitely stop by every time I’m in East Landing”

“You really gotta try it!! This is one of my favorite restaurants in the US; every time I order, I got those juicy meat balls, ribs, and pork belly; you haven’t experienced bliss before, wait until they melt in your mouth.

They come in big portions at reasonable prices, the re are only two person working in the shop, but what they deliver is not something to dismiss.

I haven’t tried the English menu so I can’t really comment on that, but my friends like the rice noodles, fried rice, and sweet & sour chicken.”

I had an outstanding experience with Amy at this Baskin Robbins location. She was incredibly helpful from the start and delivered excellent customer service throughout the entire process.

I sent her a few reference photos for the cake design, and she absolutely nailed it. The final result looked fantastic, even better than I expected. The image was printed on frosting sheets, which means you can use pretty much any picture you want, and she made it look clean and professional.

I also requested that the cake not be visible through the box window so the design would be a surprise. Amy took care of that without hesitation, making sure the viewing panel stayed closed.

Overall, I couldn’t be happier. Amy is talented, attentive, and genuinely cares about getting things right. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a custom ice cream cake.”

But for a nice Little Pony shop in downtown East Lansing off of MSU campus it's a very nice atmosphere for a Coney Dog lunch spot probably one of the better Coney dog Lunch Spot atmospheres I've been at. Not sure who the manager is but they hire a good young employees that actually must have been raised right because they do great service for a bunch of kids.”

“I am a chef who came in with my wife... critiquing this place doesn't exactly sit right with me, because they have done an overall fantastic job...so let's start there..first off the music played that day was absolute perfection for the time, and number of people inside. The person taking care of us went out of her way to make me something not offered on the menu. The decor was warm and clean...I was wondering how it would be if they were really busy...about those issues though...having water already on the table is ok, but put it in a decanter you can't see the minerals through, shot glasses are not glasses..and she gave me ice cold syrup for the waffle I ordered.....other than that FANTASTIC...my wife and I enjoyed being there and WILL RETURN”
