Called ahead and placed an order for pick up. When I arrived my order was ready and it was nice and hot. My sandwich was great. I just didn't care for the hashbrown. Hubby loved it, though. We will be back!

lol. Expectation vs Reality. It tastes good but I paid $9.62 for what is advertised as more than the pinch of brisket I got.

I walked in here 45 minutes ago, ordered a plain bagel with cream cheese, they had dozens of plain bagels ready, and I still haven’t gotten my bagel. Workers are turning away people who walk in telling them it’ll be a 45 minute wait on orders currently. I’ve worked in food service and I understand that things happen but there is no reason for it to take 3 people 45 minutes to spread cream cheese on a bagel.

48 minutes. 10 minutes in line, and 38 minutes waiting for our order to be handed to us... sans bag, and when we got to the car...finding out it was incorrect.Ok...now let me say this. It had been years since I have been to this location. However my wife and I had an appointment on the same block this morning, and she was reminiscing about her fondness for the place from back when she was in college. So we walked down and placed our order. She got a smoked salmon, and I got a Sriracha Honey Sunrise and a small coffee (I wanted large, they said they only did small, even though I saw the large cups, and it was listed on the board) We then went and stood with at least 30 people waiting for food. During this time I counted 6 doordash orders made, and 7 online orders fulfilled. At one point there was a pile of 1/2 finished bagel sandwiches on the cutting board, but a 7 1/2 minute wait between seeing ANY orders completed. The cross contamination of the different types of bagels was pretty overwhelming and obvious.I was never given my coffee, so waited 10 minutes until there was a lull in the line to ask the cashier, who then had to ask someone else if it was ok to give me the cup well I waited (Why have a self serve coffee station if it is not?)I watched more than one potential customer get tired of waiting and ask for a refund and leave. When we FINALLY received our order...the woman just slapped 2 wrapped bagels in my hand (no bag, no napkins) and they were HOT! But...we had been waiting over a 1/2 hour so we took them and walked to the car (realizing I paid for another 1/2 hour of parking waiting) and low and behold...my wife's Salmon was lacking multiple ingredients. No onions or tomatoes. And mine had such a small amount of cream cheese it was barely noticeable. After waiting over 1/2 hour to get the first order, we just sucked it up and ate what we had, as no one has time to wait another 30+ minutes for them to fix it.The food was fine. Not what we wanted, not what we ordered...but...it was fine.I can't see going back anytime soon.I highly recommend going back to ordering with the cooks and not at the cashier, as that seemed to make things faster.

My husband and I got some food here, the gentleman making our food was polite and made great food. However, he was the only one working. That's a poor reflection on upper management. You need to sit down and review your team's moral and decide if it's worth compromising over a few dollars of labor cost. Regardless if the other team member was on break or simply not present, they deserve proper staffing. And while your at it? Give that gentleman a raise and promotion.Time of visit: Saturday, January 6th @ 11am

I had to take the bagel on the bus and wait like 40 minutes to eat it and it was still one of the best bagels I’ve ever

Best version of a New York style bagel I have found in the metro Detroit area. Service is always on point especially if you order ahead with the app. I have been to all 3 locations and can only hope and dream they bring one to the Macomb twp/Shelby/sterling heights area soon.

Bagels are delicious. Would rate 5 stars but their seating is closed which I was unaware of.

Holy smokes was Bruegger’s delicious. Ordered the Farmhouse Signature Sandwhich through DoorDash. Literally every flavor complimented each other.Very enjoyable meal. Thank you!

Bathrooms gross, coffees cold, bagels hardly toasted. The bruggers in Ann Arbor would never.

LOVE THE FOOD. The bagels are THE best in downtown EL. But just the bagels, I wouldn’t recommend getting coffee or really anything else from here other than the bagels.

Travelers beware. The pictures show booths and dine in options. All that has been removed. When traveling with kids for sports, eating in the car is not always an option or desired. Please update your pictures.

I did not even now there are Brugger’s bagels everywhere but my first time trying it was in East Lansing. My first time was very mediocre, I selected something I’ve never tried before which was their smoked salmon and I was skeptical about fish on bread but my second time around got better. First time it was very salty, and I couldn’t get half way though the sandwich and I just gave up. I believe whoever made this order perhaps put too many capers on the bagel and since it was my first-time eating capers, it was a lot for my tongue to handle. I have tried this type of bagel from other establishments, and I grew to like it. A year or so later, I came back to a Bruegger’s and it was good. So, it is probably just that first time, bad luck situation, but I have tried different options from this restaurant, and I do enjoy their bagels. Here, they offer breakfast and lunch options, assortments of bagels and cream cheeses, desserts, and sides. This place is on a busy street so parking could be a slight obstacle, so be prepared, but do give it a go.
