I want to go back to East Lansing just so I can go to East Cafe again.I got the Hong Kong style tofu and my bf got dry chili chicken, the portion size was good, we were full halfway but they were so delicious we had to finish them.Love the place, love the owners, it’s like visiting your grandparents
The owner is a testament to female entrepreneurship, hard work, generosity towards the community, good cheer, kindheartedness and hospitality. The food is delicious and I can always count on the soup being enough to take home.

I love this place so much! They welcomed me like a family member every time I'm here. The atmosphere is cozy and family-like, reminds me of all the good food my grandma used to cook. The owners are super friendly and kind, they always make sure I have more than enough rice and I was having a good time every single time!
