“I ordered pick up and got the Seoul chicken sandwich with kimchi and a bulgogi taco. First time trying it since I recently moved to the area.Y’all…it was soooo good. My favorite restaurant I’ve tried so far. The flavors were amazing, (the food wasn’t bland which is an issue I keep running into around here!!), and the portions were generous for a great price! And keep in mind I got a pick up order before they closed. I can only imagine how bomb it would be to eat it fresh at the restaurant. The parking situation is jacked but that’s hardly the restaurants fault. If you’re thinking about it, try it.”
“Service is always excellent, staff members are kind and attentive to dining needs. Joe is amazing and one of the best servers on staff. I tried the strawberry shortcake which was made by Peter. Amazing dish. The strawberry compote was fresh and the raspberry chocolate ganache was a perfect balance between sweet and tart and the entire dessert incorporated different textures of crunch and gooey. I would recommend to anyone and thank the staff for placing it on the menu!Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free options and chefs are cognizant of dietary restrictions and allergens.”
“Food so good they didn't need to also have good service but it was there. Place was clean. Fish tanks were clean. Food was fresh and came out hot. The BBQ pork puff pastries were flaky like they had just came out of the oven. Probably the best dim sum you're going to get in town.Honestly I prefer not going on the buffet days. I think the food is even better.”
“Awesome food wonderful Asian cuisine with a new Asian food experience for my family and I. Very large sharable portions and nothing was over $18.50; Most items were priced between $10-$15.The only minor mishap we had was our waiter did not speak hardly any English so our questions could not be answered about the new foods we wanted to try. Luckily the online menu shows pictures of all their dishes and we had our phones so we could google everything to understand what the dishes were. The waiter was very nice though and did his best he could and we greatly appreciated it. The food was excellent and we will definitely be back again!!!!!Vegetarian options: You can customize many dishes to your liking to make it a vegetarian mealKid-friendliness: They have several pool tables to keep kids entertained while waiting on your food.”
“Just had the best experience ever in the private event room for my daughter’s Sweet 16. The FieldHouse team took great care of us! I highly recommend hosting your next party/private event here. Such a good space in the heart of downtown EL!”
“the selection of food is great if you're doing hot pot. The staff is always coming to your table to see how you're doing. overall good dining experience”
“A wonderful little salad bar for a simple and delicious lunch. My partner took me here after hearing some good things from friends and it didn't disappoint. Everything was very clean and in order. You just grab a to-go container and load up on greens and toppings. The price of my salad was comparable to a mid-range restaurant. I didn't try the soups, but service at checkout was fast and easy. If you read the negative reviews remember the East Lansing crowd can be a little snooty when it comes to uncomplicated food.”
“Now is this a 5 out of 5 compared to a big city famous sushi place? No. Is it way off the charts for land-locked East Lansing, Michigan? Absolutely. No questions asked best sushi in East Lansing.”
“We tried the beef and pork bulgogi and they were both on point. The side dishes is what elevates the whole experience. Unlimited sides which taste fresh and are very healthy. Would definitely recommend!”
“James The Owner of two peas in a pot. Pet Care has been telling me about them for years and I finally stopped in today and I must say that this place is fantastic. The health, the quality of ingredients, the freshness. I will most definitely be back time after time.”
“Do not miss this gem!! Visit soon. You will not regret it. So much food. Amazing full taste. I had the lamb. My colleague had the goat. We were both so impressed. The naan bread was perfect. Don't skip the bread. The setting/environment was overly simple but doesn't detract.”
“We were planning to meet family at 1130am for a birthday celebration and the first to arrive learned the restaurant was open only until 12pm for brunch. The staff went to work to accommodate us anyway. The food was fantastic, the servers were friendly and professional. The restaurant manager, Karima saw to our every need! We would highly recommend giving the brunch a try. Worth every penny and we really appreciated having the extra time. Thanks for a great experience!”
“Went for brunch, the food was great (potato cakes are a must)! Their mimosas are really nice because juice and champagne come separately you get to DIY!! Highly recommend, my only complaint is that for how empty the restaurant was sat for 5+ minutes before anyone came over to us. Our waitress (Monica?) was not very attentive. Our drinks were never refilled.... we could see her chatting with coworkers at the host stand. She walked past multiple times without ever checking on us. For how slow the restaurant was I was unimpressed with our service, but the food and drinks made up for it. Would have left 5 stars if our service was better.”
“I’m an event planner and I’ve had two wildly successful catered events in the mezzanine of Jolly Pumpkin! I rented the space for a group of 25-30 coworkers and chose the customizable buffet, which included your choice of salad, as well as multiple starters, entrees, and sides. I let the coordinator know we’d be expecting kids at the event, and she set out coloring pages at a special table for them! The attention to detail and kindness from the coordinator really made the experience for me and my team. Thank you, Savanah! We’ll be back :)”
“Have been here twice in the last month and Ellison Brewery is a fantastic place for drinks & food. Our bartender Eric made the most outstanding Lemon Drop Martini! Big thumbs up here will be back soon..”
“It was a decent experience. We had a hard time finding parking. We had to loop around a couple of times, then we walk in and are blasted with LOUD music. But once we met with our friends, we went to the "quieter" side and enjoyed a nicely cooked meal. My go-to is fajitas or nachos, and their nachos did not disappoint?, but the service was quick for a late Friday night, and the waitress was slightly attentive. I don't know if we will return, but it worked for us for that night.”
“I am staying at a hotel and my late-night hunger beast kicked it into full gear...I ordered the cheese calzone through GrubHub and let me tell you... I'M OBSESSED. PLEASE JESUS MULTIPLY THIS AMAZING DELICIOUSNESS!”
“Recent dinner was very slow, but good. Garlic edamame, house salad, and miso soup very good. Sashimi sampler and stop drop roll were solid. Bibimbap and bulgogi were flavorful. Unfortunately the Food was great, but overshadowed by glacially slow service throughout the meal - not just the fresh sushi prep that is expected.”
