“A wonderful little salad bar for a simple and delicious lunch. My partner took me here after hearing some good things from friends and it didn't disappoint. Everything was very clean and in order. You just grab a to-go container and load up on greens and toppings. The price of my salad was comparable to a mid-range restaurant. I didn't try the soups, but service at checkout was fast and easy. If you read the negative reviews remember the East Lansing crowd can be a little snooty when it comes to uncomplicated food.“
“Miguel is the definition of great customer service. A lady took my order by accident and he quickly offered to let me have a couple cookies from the bakery and they remade my order asap. As I sat there watching him interact with other customers, I realized he is the type of person you want working in your establishment. I work at the JW Marriott giving 4 diamond level of service to multi-millionaires. Miguel exemplifies this type of service. I see this guy going far in customer service. “Just driving around on a Sunday and happened across this quaint diner. The food portions are plentiful and delicious! But the best part is the joy the staff exudes.... especially the singing chefs who are working hard preparing the food! That is how daily life should be lived and I thank them for the smiles they bring into their customer's day!“

“The pies are all amazing, it doesn't matter which one you get. But you don't want to order online because you'll miss the display case of daily specials. The quiche is always terrific, again it doesn't matter which one you get. My go to is the BLT but I switch it the mayo for mustard. Great place for lunch and a slice of pie!“
“I went here for the first time today and was blown away. To start, the staff was so friendly (shoutout Lesley and Chloe). Since it was my first time, they gave me suggestions based of my dietary restrictions (vegetarian) and my taste of coffee (sweeter). I got the Greek wrap without the chicken and added avocado based on Lesley's recommendation. It tasted great. Chloe suggested the Smores latte and it was exactly what I wanted. I sat in the Cafe for some time on my laptop (they offer wifi :)) and Chloe and Lesley were so friendly. They also had multiple regulars come in during this time and they remembered their orders; they clearly had built relationships with these customers.“
“Always a great time. Went for my birthday dinner last night (Leap Year Baby ?) and everything was great. The food was deeeeelicious and arrived in a timely fashion. Our server was sweet and the atmosphere was pleasant. Oh yeah and don't forget that on your birthday you get a free dessert ? we ordered the new chocolate 9 layer cake, oh man, it was freaking awesome !!“
