Woody’s Oasis was recommended by the staff at Michigan State University vet hospital. This was the first time we visited this restaurant. The counter staff person was friendly, offered menu suggestions and answered all of my questions. She even told me the best way to eat the Falafel wrap! We spent about $27 on two falafel wraps, side dishes and drinks. I spent another $10 on a tray with a variety of desserts. Woody's Oasis serves delicious food. I ordered a gyro with chicken. It was the best tasting gyro that I have had in many, many years. The chicken was fresh, the pita was fresh and the tzatziki was tasty and not over powering with garlic. My husband ordered chicken shawarma. It was fresh and full of flavor.

Vegetarians, carnivores, and vegans alike can all break bread at Woody's Oasis. The best Lentil and Rice soup and Lentil and vegetable soup I think are found here. Their Cabbage Salad is crisp and herby, while the Falafel is crispy and flavorful. Chicken Shawarma and Chicken Kabobs are excellent as well as the Mediterranean salad. The fries are also excellent.
