“Only giving a 4 because i haven’t gotten to eat from here in a while. Everyone is confused about the reasoning for them being closed all the time during normal hours and as someone who lives right down the street, so was i. but i asked a taco bell employee at the taco bell on gratiot and they said because of the construction on 9 mile that the manager hasn’t been serving due to dirty water. which made a lot of sense and i appreciate that. hopefully i can get some food here soon bc it’s so close i could walk in less than 5 min.“
“Our family’s very favorite place for carry out hands down. The staff is always friendly and polite, and the food is OUT OF THIS WORLD!!! We drive a fair distance, past many other options to go here because it is so good that we are hooked. Can’t recommend enough.“
“I had been hoping to find a good taco truck since I moved here. Glad I finally did, AND I can walk there from my place. I'd say that's perfect. Love an authentic taco with tender, juicy meat and a side of rice. I'll have to try the quesadilla next time.“
“Love they tacos! great customer service ' always fresh & hot . I literally can eat these tacos everyday if I could . Perfect for fall days and bring them home to eat with a movie . The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I love the fact it's family owned and everyone works together. Price does vary but with inflation totally understandable I hope and pray for there success and blessings“
“Mexico City is so successful they have practically outgrown their location...trying to find a parking spot usually involves venturing into the neighborhood behind it and parking on the side streets. Normally I'd hate doing this but for the steak fajitas it's absolutely worth it and I will continue to throw money at them. Absolutely terrific restaurant, they definitely have something special going on.“
“My boyfriend and I was staying at the hotel by here for the night and he came across this place and THE FOOD WAS WONDERFUL!!!! definitely will be coming back too eat here! everything was fresh and the chicken for the bowls WAS SO YUMMY!!!“
“The food was absolutely delicious! Service was ok, the restaurant was very clean. There are two parking lots to choose from. They do have a few vegetarian options but not a lot. I would definitely recommendVegetarian options: Only about two vegetarian options“

“First time coming here , I'm from Saginaw. so I most definitely need to say I wish I had one of these here! food was amazing, customer service was amazing, & the atmosphere was also amazing. so pretty inside, & also very clean! 10/10⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ordered the #10 dinner w beef, chicken & shrimp. did NOT disappoint. will be back.“
“Birria Sandwich, so, so good!! House Margarita, also. Can't wait to go back for more! Service was good, and they've done a nice job with the decor! Parking was easy, booths are nice and comfortable. What more could you want? It was our first time there, for dinner on a Monday evening.“
“Authentic mx food. Best tacos in the area. Online menu is bit challenging to understand what each item is. I had to Google each item to find out what kind of meat it is. Finally I had to make a list as reference. I think they should add English to the menu. Ghost margarita is a must try.“
“Had lunch here with a friend who has never been to Pancho Villa before. We were seated promptly and greeted by our server who did a phenomenal job taking care of us. Ordered the shredded Beef Flauta Dinner and my friend ordered the Chicken Chimichanga Dinner. Had so much food that we had to get a carry out. Food was delicious, service was great and will definitely go back to try the Flaming Fajitas.“

“First time in this cozy little place. Booth seating to one side and a bar on the other. It's got a cool eclectic vibe, very clean. We were promptly sat and a server was there with menus and water and took our drink order. The menu is small but covers all the bases nicely. The chips arrived hot and the salsa made in house while we waited for our food which wasn't long. Nothing pretentious going on here just solid well prepared and fresh. Portions were generous and the prices fair. We've found another little gem! I would have given 4.5 stars simply for the fact that the dusty musty 70s one hit wonder ambient music included the theme from Greatest American Hero. A lot of you will be too young to remember lol.“
“This Mexican taqueria is a hidden gem in downtown Detroit. Don't judge the size of this place, because the food is excellent, affordable and folks that work there are awesome. A taco lover's hotspot! They also have great burritos, enchiladas and quesadillas. It's ideal for take-out, but they have small dine in area, too. I'm always greeted warmly and the staff there aim to please their customers. Highly recommended!“
“By far one of my favorite spots to grab a bite to eat. Authentic Mexican food and the service is great! The prices are fairly competitive, although I'm noticing the rise everywhere. Make sure you stop in for a Torta (Mexican Sandwich)! They're delicious! ?“
“I felt so at home as soon as i entered the establishment. The workers Lilliana, Natalie and Paulina, all welcomed me in and helped me with my order. The food here is absolutely delicious! I got the steak quesadillas and they were cooked to perfection. The atmosphere and music was so authentic i felt like i was in mexico! I also got a Sidral (apple soda) and it quenched my thirst so i could continue my delicious meal. 10/10 i would recommend and DEFINITELY come back more often!Wheelchair accessibility: They have handicap parking with a slanted entrance so wheelchairs can easily be pushed into the building.“
“Usually bring a few of my friends for drinks and great food. Recently was able to bring my husband for dinner and he loved the food and was finally glad to have a place that put some real spice and flavor into it. Great job Sandra & Jose!“
“Great place to go to see Riverside friends . Comfortable and homey, peaceful feeling being so close to family and friends . Highly recommended stop in for that friendly feeling. Great food, great company always . Awesome entertainment and sports !!!“
“Seemed like another chain places initially however the host was very kind and the whole staff seemed regional. They had a good stock of local drinks. I had the birria tacos and damn it was great! Looked great! Meat was seasoned and tender. Everything tasted rich and flavorful.“

“Overall good experience and we will return! Food was great other than the Mexican rice which tasted like wet cardboard/freezer. Golden Margarita flight was great! We were seated right away and our waitress was very attentive even though they were very busy on a Saturday at dinner time.“
“While in Detroit I found this excellent Mexican restaurant. The service, the decor, the music and the food were all top tier. The chilaquiles with a couple fried eggs and beans with a little cotija cheese were screaming! Very authentic like mom use to make lol. The chicharrones were absolutely fire. Crunchy not greasy and the peanut sauce that comes with it is great for dipping. Love this place. Muchas gracias!“
“Always love the food at Miguels. They are probably one of, if not 'the', best Mexican restaurants in my area. Kids love it, and I do too. And staff is always friendly and accomodating!Just called to place a carry out order at 8:40pm, and was told they were closed. Please adjust your restaurant hours to when you stop seating, or taking orders. Not when everyone is planning on leaving. Thanks.“
“I’ve lived in the area for two years but never got around to trying Red Crown until last night. I really wish I hadn’t waited that long!! Food, drinks and service were all awesome. Even the free chips were outstanding. I got the mushroom, vegan chorizo and chicken tacos. Mushroom and chicken were amazing. Vegan chorizo needed a little bit of extra flavor but still very good. Horchata was delicious. Got a veggie quesadilla to go and it was so good heated up this morning. I can’t wait to go back!“
“Good food and great service. There are so many meat options that I totally forgot what I had and be prepared to be stuffed. The market table offers good side dish options and it's hard to not over eat Ambiance is great for date night or celebration. If you are not a big fan of meat, I won't suggest this place. Due to the amount of food and meat, I will not say this is your everyday eat out restaurant. Otherwise, I highly recommend. Disclaimer, I had only eaten dinner there and not yet try their lunch option.“
“Came by here after checking out an event at the bookstore next door. I ordered the birria tacos where were good and well priced! My friends all tried different items on the menu including the regular tacos, quesadillas, and quesabirria. The food is definitely heavier so not a regular spot for me, but great late night spot with lots of seating and a large menu. Service was also great and the waitress was very friendly!“
“I have only eaten from the trailer, but it’s better BBQ ribs than some of the so called BBQ places. The staff is friendly always and very efficient with the buzzer for when your order is ready. The price is in line with most for the quality you receive. When I’m lazy and want it right now it’s my go to spot! They have cured my fears of non traditional indoor dining from an outdoor spot. Keep up the good job!Parking: Look for the red building and the aroma of grilled food.“
“Good just a little pricier than I'm used to. Definitely used to more lunch meals that are not 15$+ and was weirded out with the white stuff served with chips?? Was it ranch?? Lol idk just threw me off a little.Anyways pretty big portion sizes, Ash our waitress was pleasant, and no other complaints.“
“The food was great! The place is just beautiful! The service was fast and considerate and the owner was visiting every table to make sure we were taken care of! I had the botana and my fiend had the wet burrito. So, so good. Had the tacos last time and they were perfect!“
“This place was great. Reserved this restaurant for moms 71st bday, as she loves Mexican food. Staff was super accommodating with our fairly large group. Manager Demetry initially handled resv's, before handing off to Dawn and Shannon. They were all very good. Food was great...atmosphere was eventually cool. Nice place “
“I love Tacos El Rodeo! The best tacos and burritos you’ll find anywhere near Detroit! The jalapeño sauce goes extra hard too! I don’t know how but when I head to Tacos El Rodeo, I get more excited than I was when OG Fortnite dropped! This is a W taco truck for sure!“
“Amazing tamales! My mom and I went as soon as they opened, and they were still rolling/preparing them. They are always fresh and full of flavor. My favorite is the beef, while my mom loves the jalapeño and pork. I always buy too bags because I eat one packet in the car. Bring cash!“
“I was visiting in Detroit for my daughter's dance competition and the staff at our hotel recommended this place and it did not disappoint!! The staff here were very friendly and helpful and the food was amazing! This is a definite must stop each time I am in the area!!“
“THE absolute best Mexican restaurant in the area in terms of quality and price and that’s not even debatable. The highest attention to detail is observed from the fresh ingredients, the clean dining room to the parking lot. The end result is nothing short of an absolute treat to your taste buds and a spectacle for the eyes. I love this place and have been going here for years and it is definitely one of my go to places. EVERYTHING IS GOOD. Very well run from employee, management to owner. Be careful this place is not large and neither is the parking lot. You’ve been WARNED! Big Blue out.Parking: Parking lot is small and quaint but well maintained and taken care of. Attention to detail in the highest of orders. You’ve been WARNED.“
“Was really nervous about trying this place based on google reviews but I’m so glad that I did! Excellent food!! I ordered shrimp tacos and I really was expecting average but they blew me away!! Loaded, flavorful shrimp!! I was highly impressed!! The food was amazing and I’ll definitely return! The customer service was excellent as well. 10/10!“
“I love this old school, Mexican restaurant. It's one of the better on the East side. Especially, if you aren't interested looking for some overly fancy restaurant.I don't think that is the demographic for P&C's.The margaritas on a recent visit were a little bit watered down or just not as good as usual. However, the service and food are always top notch!“
“The servers at the coffee counter were cool and helpful and friendly and funny. The servers at the chicken tender counter were apathetic, seemed bored, had skipped over our order when we went back to see what was taking so long, and didn't say a single word to us when we asked about the order. She just walked over to the ticket pile and found the order then handed it to the cook. We had no interaction with them besides placing the order so there was nothing personal happening. It just seemed like both of them wanted to be literally anywhere else but there. It was my first time at the LCA and it's not a good look tbh. This was the night of 01/06/24“
“Stopped and placed a carry out and they had a restaurant full of guests (2 were parties in the banquet area). Went to the store and came back and food was ready and the staff were exceptional and my dinty moore and the lemon rice soup were excellent! Anyone complaining about prices hasn’t been grocery shopping in a while and if you don’t want to pay for it and leave a tip then cook it yourself and see how much it will cost to get everything you need for everyone or it will probably cost same or even more for the initial ingredients.Vegetarian options: Veggie pitas and omeletsDietary restrictions: Senior menu dinner specials. Custom orders excepted (within reason).Parking: Park by the door and handicap parking availableKid-friendliness: Kid menu and family friendlyWheelchair accessibility: Yea“
“They always make the food great and it's consistently made with not just a tortilla, like Taco Bell, where you get a quesadilla and barely any chicken or cheese are only in the center and sides have nothing in them.Vegetarian options: They no longer have Beyond Meat but their beans are fire.“
“Great Mexican food in a cozy little unassuming spot! If you're looking for something off the beaten path and often overlooked by others looking for a flashy frontage this is the place for you! The staff is super kind and service is great. Food is delicious. Love the Verde sauce on the enchiladas. Best I've ever had!“
