“While not a large location, there's plenty of seating available. There is a jukebox available, so music played typically depends on the crowd, and there's a pool table with plenty of room to play. While I'm unsure currently if there's any other games like darts , I did notice there's an ATM onsite - most patrons I noticed paid in cash but they do take credit. The bathroom I saw was clean enough - sanitary, didn't smell like a dumpster and stocked accordingly. Also, while they do serve food, please be aware that the bartender is also the cook - if the location is busy & you're hungry, expect a wait & be kind to staff.Speaking of the bartending, I've only been a few times and Mandy was my bartender both times; she was a delight.Drinks are reasonably priced, bottled drinks were very cold, the few samples of food I tried with a friend were good and the atmosphere was friendly & inviting.“
“what a blast! visited because i saw on channel 4's tasty tuesday, the music trivia bingo and karaoke was very entertaining!!! the entertainment came in very handy because it was super busy due to the tv plug. my waitress Rebecca was super sweet, and did a wonderful job especially considering it was her first day!!! food was absolutely delicious and worth the wait, my friend got the shrimp n grits-said it was the best she has ever had! i got the half chicken which was cooked perfectly! we also got mac n cheez, garlic mashed potatoes, collard greens, and the chicken wings for an app. everything was so good, we left fat and happy and i will return soon!!!“
“The waitress Kerri was very nice and pleasant her service was fast she was on top of everything we asked for..... We didn't have to wait a long time for service and she kept a smile on her face the whole time we was there will return and have her as a waiter.“
“The babyback ribs were out of this world. Our server Nautica was absolutely a shining light with the most incredible smile. Her smile and laugh made our meal even more enjoyable. We will be makingSweetwater Tavern a weekly "must do!"“
“I walked over from the Greektown parking garage and went here prior to the Red Wings game on 2/27/2024. The two young ladies working behind the bar and also out on the floor were very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Tom, the shuttle bus driver, was terrific. I'll definitely be back!“
“Never missed a St. Patty's Day Celebration yet. Going on 20 years. On the Historic Registry. Live music on the weekends. Friendly people all around. Every now and then, you'll see the original owner Nancy having a drink with old friends. Great history, great city and sports.Parking: Now owned by Steven's Family and doing a great job.“
“First time. Lunch on weekday. Tried their burger adding onion rings $11.95 and Blue Moon beer, total bill $19 plus tip. Reason for 4 and not 5 stars, I ordered burger "medium rare, more rare than medium " and it was served as medium wellness“
“Great beer selection. I tried two of their house made beers and they were fantastic! They also have a very large refrigerator case with beers from around the world that you can drink there or take home. It's a German style beer hall seating and a couple of TVs and a bar. The staff was great. They recently brought in Deutschtoit to provide German food and it is very authentic. Definitely put this place on your list of places to try. You won't be disappointed.“
“Eastern Market Brewing is a great spot to grab some Detroit themed brews in Eastern Market. There is plenty of seating available, inside and out. Little fire pits to keep you warm on a chilly day. There are to-go options if you are unable to dine in. The employees were friendly & upbeat. Give Eastern Market Brewing a try!“
“My husband had the wings. I had Turkey Bacon wrap obviously made with love and special sauce. It melted it my mouth. We didn't order sides this time but still had enough to eat. Atmosphere was warm, welcoming, neighborhood type of place. Although they serve alcohol, feel comfortable to being in your children.we'll be back.“
