“Biergarten is one of our favorite local places! This year they saved my fiancé’s 30th birthday when another local bar could no longer accommodate us last minute. I called the day before in a panic and the owner called her workers to come in a little early, helped me coordinate everything with food, and just went above and beyond to make sure everything was great. I couldn’t recommend them enough. Great people. Great place.“
“I have come for dinner here the last 2 years for both Halloween Weekends and Holiday Nights (aka in October and December). Both events are so much fun. The staff of Eagle Tavern does a good job of getting us all into the atmosphere of the Tavern and what we would've expected in the 1850s as far as food and service goes. Eagle Tavern is completely able to handle my gluten free requirements even during these 2 huge events. Most of the food that is provided are gluten free. The one major exception is the dessert course. For the last 2 years, during both events, the dessert has been an Apple crisp. It has been made of apple pie filling with an oatmeal crisp on tip. If anything, it has looked better then what the main dessert has been. During the events, there is a bar available for people to purchase a drink or 2. Each time there has been 2 custom alcoholic drinks and one non-alcoholic. The prices have been reasonable. There is also always a show along with the dinner. Normally it has just been the "travelers " working to earn their dinner. The 2 fall events are always fun. I will definitely be back for them in the future“
“The kitchen at Bambozals is always acomindating. Working late, we're always able to call Mary Anne who is always so caring about our order! The Michigan Salad is the best..chicken..cranberries, Blu Cheese..love it!I notice, though sometimes the blue Cheese cranberries and walnuts are scarce! Those are the best parts of the salad that blend the chicken and lettuce together..I like to see them and taste them in this wonderful salad!Nice American friendly bar in Dearborn!“
“At Kelly's tonight for a "St Patty's Eve" celebration, and had a blast. It was packed and crowded, but the staff was very attentive and provided awesome customer service. Cold beer, great atmosphere, terrific prices, and outstanding service. If you're out and about in the Dearborn area and looking for that perfect "neighborhood bar" swing into Kelly's.“
“Great place for a drink and chat with friends or work peers. Service is great! The food is good, obviously just limited to small bites as appetizers, but their guacamole is good.I had the lychee martini, no piece of fresh lychee but the taste was good.Parking: You can park at the back, free and free charging ports for couple of cars at the first level.“
“I walked over from the Greektown parking garage and went here prior to the Red Wings game on 2/27/2024. The two young ladies working behind the bar and also out on the floor were very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Tom, the shuttle bus driver, was terrific. I'll definitely be back!“
“Never missed a St. Patty's Day Celebration yet. Going on 20 years. On the Historic Registry. Live music on the weekends. Friendly people all around. Every now and then, you'll see the original owner Nancy having a drink with old friends. Great history, great city and sports.Parking: Now owned by Steven's Family and doing a great job.“
“Great beer selection. I tried two of their house made beers and they were fantastic! They also have a very large refrigerator case with beers from around the world that you can drink there or take home. It's a German style beer hall seating and a couple of TVs and a bar. The staff was great. They recently brought in Deutschtoit to provide German food and it is very authentic. Definitely put this place on your list of places to try. You won't be disappointed.“
“What a great little restaurant with a great view of the Detroit River you can sit outside and enjoy a great view when having a awesome dinner. We were going to the casino for a show so we decided to take a walk and found Eastwoods and I’m glad we did. This was a great way to start my 49th birthday night off great friendly people Lexi as our server she was so awesome fun and could joke around with us goof balls,we met the owner she is awesome as well very friendly she took the time to stop by each table that’s great to see. We all had different chicken dinners and were all great I will be going back soon.“
“Eastern Market Brewing is a great spot to grab some Detroit themed brews in Eastern Market. There is plenty of seating available, inside and out. Little fire pits to keep you warm on a chilly day. There are to-go options if you are unable to dine in. The employees were friendly & upbeat. Give Eastern Market Brewing a try!“
“Had a great time with a couple of my friends. The bartender was very respectful and attentive and even though the card machine went down he let us leave to continue our amazing night meeting with our other friend. The bartender was very friendly and I look forward to returning and paying the tab I was unable to pay and buying one of their shirts in my size“
“Legendary neighborhood bar, great picture of vanishing way of life. Plenty of space for welcoming a tour bus, plenty of intimacy to relax for a couple of hours. We visited the cigar room which has some amazing artifacts of century+ of its existence. No food but up to date drink menu, including NA beers and liquor.“
“So... I never knew about this place for brunch. Wow, one of the better brunches I've had period. We had the shrimp and grits and the vegan biscuits and gravy. To sum our meal up...as the kids would say...it slapped!! It was so damn good. The shrimp and grits came with two polenta cakes. Then smoothed in a creamy sauce, topped with a pile of shrimp and bacon. You can't go wrong! The shrimp had a Cajun seasoning on them that tasted great with the cream sauce. The grilled toast points was a perfect addition to soak up some of the sauce.I only sampled some of the vegan biscuits and gravy. From what I tasted the gravy was rich and flavorful. The tofu scramble was seasoned well and it had a nice mix of peppers and onions it tasted pretty good.Overall I highly recommend this place for bunch.“
“Clean, welcoming and cold beer. You could call it a hole in the wall, but it's more than that when you step inside. Your welcomed by everyone in the bar and you'll definitely feel at home after just a few minutes...few places like this place.“
“Fantastic & Friendly Atmosphere, Phenomenal Management and Staff!!! Friendships that will stay with me always!!!!! Of the many establishments I have patronized on just about EVERY Continent, the DH is by far my most favorite Pub. To my DH family, My deepest appreciation, adoration and respect!!!“
“Very cool environment to grab a beer and watch a soccer game in the eastern market area of Detroit. The service is always very attentive and friendly. A very unexpected must try for this sports bar is their Irish coffee. This traditionally made drink is on point very comparable to The Buena Vista in San fransisco.“
“Authentic and historic gathering place offers a wide variety of cultural activities in addition to a fun pub atmosphere with the cheapest drinks in town. Worth your $25 annual membership for that alone. They put the "Cork" in Corktown for over 100 years “
“Seem a little tight with the spacing as far as the seats are concern near the bar but overall the food was delicious I had corn beef wonton for appetizer and PB&J Waffles..and tater tots which I never had on my waffles before..and the waffles were so fluffy I literally wanted to order another plate but I didn't want to over do it..and the champagne was great. I really enjoyed it for first time experience.“
“The potato pancakes had little flavor. The Sausage Soup was VERY good. The Rindfleisch Rouladen was good as well. The side cabbage had little flavor. I ordered a Koenigsberer Klops (German meatballs) to go. It has 3 meatballs ( just ground beef and capers ) and a lemon caper sauce over fried spaetzle and a condiment cup of cabbage. Not worth $20 IMHO. The service was OK for us getting there at the beginning of an St Andrew's after show rush. Had a "$10 cover charge " sign that they took away when they saw people passing by“
“My friends and I went on a night with live music and had a TIME! The atmosphere was welcoming and fun. But the food was incredible! We got Korean wings (my favorite ever), pasta, fries and French 75’s.This will be a favorite all year for us and we’ll return for sure!“
“Finally tried this place. We will definitely be back!!! Big Meaty Wings, huge choice of sauces, classic style of Mozzarella Sticks and a huge burger I couldn't finish. It's not fine dining, but I wasn't looking for that. If good, inexpensive food is what you're looking for, Liquid Library can't be beat!“
“Kinda dark, kinda dingy, kinda dated. It was our first time there, and not planning to go back any time soon. Our waitress seemed like she wanted to be somewhere else. We ordered drinks ( we all had beer ) and then food. The food was good ( corned beef sandwich ). It was a decent size sandwich. We tried talking and joking with the waitress as we ordered more drinks, but she wasn't much for a conversation. We ate , we drank and we left.“
