“I just love love love there pizza. Every bite is the perfect amount of cheese sauce and crust... It's literally so good. I would highly recommend and will be back to try other things on the menu. Amazingly nice waitress, who I also believe was the owner!“

“The culinary landscape in Northern Michigan in winter is a bit tundra-ish. Unless one wants to make the trek into Traverse City and spend a couple hundred dollars, the pickins' are a bit slim. This establishment has been on my radar for a while, but every time we've been in the area, the restaurant has been slamming busy. February is a great month to give it a try. There was no wait to get in and the front house staff was efficient and friendly. The food? Wow! We loved it. Everything - the perfectly fried chicken, the crisp but airy waffles, the chorizo in the burrito - was perfect. It was obvious that attention had been paid to detail and that standards were high. My one small complaint is that it is a bit tight and very loud in the interior part of the restaurant. I could not hear our waitress as she described the specials. That won't keep us from returning!“
“What a great vibe!Even if the food and drinks hadn’t been amazing (they were), the service from the staff would warrant the full five stars allowed. Keith and Jess have a way of making everyone feel like they are part of the Five Shores family. Worth a visit if you’re in the area, but beware that it will immediately become your new go-to favorite place in Beulah.“

“Best Mexican in Benzie (and honestly Manistee)! I grew up with a Tex-Mex background, so this scratches my itch when I'm looking to have some frijoles and a marg. They have flavor, which is what many Mexican places around the area lack! Everytime we've visited, the staff has been very nice, quick, and attentive. Drinks were nice and strong ;) we went on Valentine's evening and only had to wait 20 minutes for our table during a busy rush.Vegetarian options: They cater to customizations!“

“I think my parents might like Patrick, a server and bartender, more than they like me. Seriously though, a great year round restaurant for this area. Never have even had a meal there that I went, "That was just OK." I always leave thinking, "That was great."“

“Very small dining area, would recommend for takeout mainly. Great pizza though! And done sooner than expected. Our go-to pizza place when in Frankfort.Parking: Busy tourist town in the Summer, street parking is generally available near the store.“
“Food was great. Beer excellent. Service not so good. Waitress was either new and overwhelmed with 6 tables or just a poor waitress. Either did not hear order properly or didn't care. Appeared the second as she repeated order and still got it wrong . Never brought out dishes or silverware, had to go to bar and get myself. Got popcorn, which we thought was happy hour in place of chips with bar cheese that we ordered . Wife order a second beer, I did not, but was still served a second beer. But the food and beer were great.“

“Can’t complain! Got a bagel to go for breakfast while staying in town for vacation. I had a Lox, egg and cheese bagel with sun dried tomato cream cheese added (sesame seed bagel at the suggestion of the counter guy). It was SO phat and SO filling. I was good all the way until dinner! You definitely get what you pay for. Thank you!“

“I love that I have this option in this small town. One other reviewer mentioned the one vegan doughnut. Yes, that was the case when I was there as well. However, they also offer several vegan sandwiches and I thoroughly enjoyed the "Vegan Morning". It was so yummy! And I had oat milk in my coffee, too!“

“The food was very good and fresh. Our granddaughter had a sandwich called a Rachel that had plenty of turkey, cheese, coleslaw on grilled rye and it was delicious. The French fries were seasoned just right. I had a wonderful salad with grilled chicken and dried cherries. My husband had the quesadillas. The main bar was extremely crowded with the local crowd, but the adjoining room had pinball machines, games and a pool table to our granddaughter occupied which was nice because the service was extremely slow.“
“Nice little chain in the Leland/Sleeping Bear area. Not sure if it's kosher or not, but definitely tries to capture the essence of a Jewish deli. Bagels and cookies were great, sandwiches pretty good. I thought the meat was just 'deli case' instead of their own product, but it was still good taste and value. We had bagels from a couple of the locations, and will be back again!“

“This food was delicious. The service is wonderful. The waiter was so polite and welcoming. You got your food out at a very decent time. It’s just a small menu for a small corner restaurant. It was clean there. Everything felt nice no problems with the drinks or food. The price was at decencies. I definitely recommend that restaurant if you’re near the area.“
