I was obsessed with the greens, yams, and mashed potatoes with gravy. Everything was hot, fresh, and seasoned like real comfort food should be. If you’re craving soul food done right, this place delivers….literally and flavor-wise.”

“The food was excellent. We had Gra Pao Gai (basic chicken), chicken pad thai, crab rangoon and a spring roll. Spring roll needed some meat. Pork maybe. But it was buttery and crispy. The crab rangoon had great flavor they had a little too much crispy edges or broke some off and put it on top of the pad thai but the flavor inside with cream cheese was delicious. Chicken pad Thai was medium and it was on point with what you'd expect it had some heat but it didn't blow your hair off. The prices were Fair. The portions were enough to eat twice unless you wanted to just get uncomfortable. Haha. I will definitely order here again I want to try the red curry. We ordered doordash so I don't know what the inside looks like. There are a couple of alternatives in the area but I've tried them and I think I prefer this place over them especially when it comes to price and portion.”

“I ordered the almond chicken and the Kung Pao chicken. Both were delicious. Kung Pao had lots of chicken a rich savory sauce with just the right amount of spice and the almond chicken had a great gravy with really good flavor (and I've tried just about every almond chicken in the whole city), it was actually like a gravy and less like a sauce which I loved and the chicken was really clean with an excellent crispy coating. The egg rolls were delicious they had plenty of meat in them could have used a little more cabbage but I prefer the meat over the veggie. The portions were huge three people could eat on one order so you definitely get your money's worth. And it's fairly price in the lady who works the front counter is always very friendly. When you see where it's located you feel like it's not in the best area but it's safer than it looks. I was not super fond of the crab cheese there was just too many onions in it but it was really full of cream cheese and had a nice crisp and a delicious sweet and sour dipping sauce.”

Tonight I took my wife and we decided on breakfast. She had the Cinnamon Frech Toast w/ 2 eggs and sausage links and I I had an omlet with pork 3 ways hash browns and toast. We both had a pop and the bill was under $25. Both were delicious. She is already talking about what she's getting next time. Do yourself a favor stop by and see Steve inside the Dort Mall, you won't bee disappointed. They need to put a star rating for value which is a solid 10.”

“My daughter and grand kids took me to Dom's Diner for "Mother's Day" on Sunday, May 11, 2025. Everyone's food was great. My daughter had fish and fries, one of the grand kids had the alfredo with shrimp and chicken. My other grand son had chicken and fries. The youngest had mickey mouse pancakes with bacon. It was the first time I tried chicken and waffles, they were delicious. The waitress went above and beyond, and you can't find this time of service everywhere..”

“We were regulars at Empress of China for years. My whole extended family was. The Lotus room is the owners son and has a lot of the same menu with some added greatness! The Mongolian beef and Mongolian chicken is to die for!! It’s made different from any Mongolian beef/chicken I’ve ever had. The lettuce wraps are also amazing and they have the best egg rolls and crab Rangoons around! I also love the sizzling rice soup and won ton soup! I miss the meat sticks terribly please bring those back! I am so happy to find The Lotus room and their amazing food and traditional Chinese recipes. The chef is amazing and the woman at the front desk is super friendly! I’d love them to open back dine in and not just take out. But I’ll take anything I can get. It’s my favorite food of all time!”

NO FOOD HERE- but you can certainly bringing your own the gentleman down the bar here has a big JOHN steak and onion that I am jealous of! Secretly wishing he would share, but of course they’re not offering lol

On June 8th the time of the order was 12:53 P.M. The brisket was not tender the chef was stingy on the chicken, all in all the package was not worth $49.82 Whoever the chef was June 6th give him a raise. I cannot say the same for the order Feast for Two for the chef that served it.”

“So I was planning a 2nd visit to a BBQ place I found last trip to Flint but,my girlfriend who is a Flint native recommended Big John's. I got a super steak,onion& mushroom ,the 16 inch sandwich. $22 bucks and worth ever penny. The meat is seasoned perfect,the cheese is caramelized along with the onion and mushrooms on the grill for a perfect meat symphony. The bread holds up too. After a few bites I added banana peppers and it took the sandwich up another level. My lame picture doesn't do it justice, this is a steak lovers dream.
By the way the half of the sandwich I couldn't finish I ate the next day and it was just as good reheated.”

“I saw these cinnamon rolls advertised on Good Morning America and decided to give them a chance. They arrived today in perfect condition and taste absolutely delicious. The toppings were packaged separately so nothing was melted, etc. I live in Georgia so I was highly impressed that the rolls were not damaged in shipping. I plan to freeze half and gobble up the rest!! Highly recommend these cinnamon rolls!!!”

“Please forgive me for my rating in reference to the White Horse Tavern. I haven't been in this establishment for many years. For it to show that I have recently been here, was identified with me turning around, or just parking in the parking lot, in route at another destination in that direction, to either utilize my cell, or reprogram my Mapquest for directions to a location. I've been at this establishment once, maybe twice, years ago. It's a small restaurant/bar. At that time I visited, it was with old coworkers, and we were there to support another old coworker who played in a band. They did a live jazz session at this location. From what I recall, the food was nice, and they also carried alcohol beverages (I'm not a big drinker, so I don't recall much about the drinks, or any amount cost of anything), and the atmosphere was nice, but it was kind of a small establishment, with a mix race of customers (which is always a plus for me. I loved it🤗). I apologize for no pics/ videos, as I said, I haven't visited this establishment in over 11/12 years, therefore I have no idea of any changes that may have occurred over those years.”

“My 45 th birthday party, we had six people and only 5 got food, we explained very well before ordering to the waitress that my husband was allergic to onions and we made sure the burritos had no onions per the waitress, so he got the beef burrito and his food came with ours and the waitress held out his plate stating that all dishes had onions in the recipes which is not true, we ate here before with no issue.To not argue and cause a scene he didn't eat and we went to get him food after. We had to call for service.with hands in the air for coffee, more chips, more water. There was only one waitress, but there were only 3 tables with customers. The food was good, but this place is so understaffed and the staff doesn't understand English well enough to accommodate special requests. I wouldn't come again unless I called for carry out an hour prior and make sure there are no special accomodations to your order. Mr. Miguel's on 11 and Ryan will be our always favorite place to go after this episode tonight.”

“We stopped on our way home from a rodeo on Saturday. We ordered the 2 meat/3 sides dinner for the 2 of us. We got pulled pork and ribs tips with potato salad, beans and hush puppies. All of it was delicious and enough for another meal! Only complaint is the pulled pork was on a bun and by the time we got home it was pretty soggy. (We live 40 minutes away). The hush puppies were as good as I've ever had. Will definitely go back!”

“It’s Christmas Eve, our evening plans fell through and I did NOT feel like cooking. The only fast food open at 10 pm was Rally’s. We pulled up to the longest line I think we’ve ever seen. After 30 mins of waiting in line, we’ve placed our order and are at the window. I joked to my husband how much the employees must hate us and I feel terrible. The line was non stop I mean it was lined out of the parking lot the whole time! When I tell you the man at the window ( I wish I would have gotten his name) was beyond nice I mean he was so funny and polite! And apologetic for our wait, which I was not blaming them in the least bit. I made sure to let him know we thought they were doing an amazing job and he told us thank you and hoped we had a merry Christmas! If I was in the situation they were in, I mean they were swamped car after car, I’d be less then enthusiastic. To have someone still so nice and polite and to not make us feel like an inconvenience like I knew we were was just outstanding. I will definitely come back to this location, they have some amazing employees that have a great sense of humor! And to the young man working the drive through Christmas Eve at 10pm YOU NEED A RAISE!!!!”

“On 7/22 I and my service dog were denied entry at Doms Diner stating owners policy. On a post I was invited to go to Leo’s on Miller road. I had never been there so I and a friend tried it today. With my service dog beside me helping me walk, we made our way to a table. The area was clean, waitstaff were very friendly and food was great. I will be going to Leo’s again and appreciate the kindness shown to myself and my service dog.”

“I had a WONDERFUL experience tonight! The food and service was fantastic (The wings were beyond delicious and everyone else in my group enjoyed their food too). Our server Nick was very attentive and was quick with refills and had a fantastic personality. I was also impressed that I ordered food for 5 people including 2 appetizers and it was only a little over a hundred, I pay more than that at Applebee's and the food isn't half as good. The band playing was incredible (I'm biased haha) and the DJ afterwards played great dance music! I can't wait to go back! Highly recommend! 10/10”
