“Rather expensive but the quality is there. In most cases an order that would contain two pieces of sushi (Nori) is reduced to one piece so the price in some cases is double. They offer unique rolls, but I stay away from most of them. My love of sushi does not include cream cheese or mayonnaise. There are less expensive options in town to be sure but Jaku offers consistent quality and freshness. A nice treat once in a while but too expensive for me to make it a regular. Again, there are better priced options.“
“We had a wonderful dinner, the food was great and our waitress was very sweet and attentive. She noticed I tried to make my daughter's chops sticks easier to use and brought me a piece of plastic that made the chopsticks kid friendly.Kid-friendliness: My daughter is well behaved and did very well it is a small restaurant so best to be respectful of others. But the staff was very sweet to my daughter.“
“My husband and I went to Sushi Kuni for the first time and everything was delicious! Servers were very attentive and kind. We got 3 speciality rolls and they were all so good! Monkey roll (middle) was my favorite out of those 3 but the michigan roll (right) and crab mania (left middle) were both very tasty. We also got the uni roll (2 in the corner) and spicy salmon roll (far left) and my husband and I both agreed the spicy salmon roll was so simple but SO good! Out of all the rolls, it was our favorite!! Would recommend and visit again!“
“Over good experience. This is my personal opinion. Not bashing this establishment. We ordered 4 rolls, and they were good and tastie, but a lot going on within the rolls with all the flavors they were trying to incorporate into one roll. Little over powering flavor combating each other. Their Carb Rangoon Dip is absolutely amazing and a must order for an appetizer. Onlrly problem no pop/soda from Coke Cola or Pepsi Products, a little weird. Those are the reasons I gave the food a 4 star. Our server was amazing and spot on with our questions and kept my water filled. The atmosphere was nice and clean. im sure during warmer months, the outside sitting is relaxing.“
“It was my first time here and my sister's first time trying sushi. It's hilarious being her try new things. We got the very beautiful and friendly waitree to teach us how to use the chopsticks. And the even overall at the place was memorable.Vegetarian options: There were a lot of options because my sister is also vegetarian and she got at least three vegetarian dishes which were very good.Parking: This place is like a mall so there is a lot of parking around the area and in front of the restaurant as well.Kid-friendliness: It is a restaurant, and there is no sign that says no children. In fact, there was a family in the 4 kids around the age of under 10.Wheelchair accessibility: It is a bottom floor, and there are no stairs, so you could roll right in if you're in a wheelchair.“
“I always get the Tempanyaki Shrimp. If is fabulous. You get large portions of the rice and the yummy garlic noodles and s can get 2 meals out of this. I order an extra garlic noodles so I can have another meal too.The shrimp are grilled perfectly and you get 10 beautiful shrimpI get the side salad and it comes with their own dressing that is deliciousThe staff are so nice and helpful.“
“The chef is a true master of his art. The whole staff was great. Very welcoming sushi bar with an excellent selection of various Japanese foods. It was a pleasure to dine here. The chef was extra considerate of my kids' experience, and I noticed and appreciated that.Overall one of the finer sushi restaurants I have been to in the United States.Bravo Mikado Sushi.Arigato!“
“We wanted Japanese hibachi but didn't have time to wait for a chef prepared dinner show. we dined in, ordered off the menu and got a yummy Lovers Dinner feast delivered to our table from the kitchen. 3rd visit here always good food and friendly staff. Highly recommend ?“
“This is everyone's birthday dinner of choice. The food is great. You can forgo the hibachi experience with no difference in portion sizes with more of an intimate dining experienceKid-friendliness: My kids really enjoy this restaurant. While they don't have much in the way of traditional kids fare my kids enjoy the gyoza and California rolls. If you have the hibachi dinner they will serve a complimentary fried noodle that my kids like and it's not too challenging to the palette“
“I am always in the mood for Chinese takeout. Red Bowl is pretty good. Have ordered takeout from here 3 or so times within the past year. Here are my takeaways: orange chicken is solid - good meat to breading ratio and has a good flavor with a bit of spice. Sesame chicken has great flavor, not too sweet. Fried rice isn't my favorite - I like the larger chunks of onion but there is a bit of old pan flavor to the rice, if that makes sense... I typically opt for white rice but the fried isn't the worst I've had. Rangoon is above average comparatively for GR - good amount of crab cheese filling and the flavor is great. Overall, 4 stars. If the fried rice was better I would have given 5. It's your standard Chinese takeout joint with competitive pricing (lunch special under $10.50).“
“Good options for veggie rolls that are delicious and not as expensive as other places around town. The space is very unassuming in the basement of McCay tower, but it's decorated nicely and the man who runs the place is friendly. Mark your selections on the piece of paper, get rung up, and food will be brought out to you. I love the aac, the sweet potato tempura, the house salad, and the hot green tea. Not sure if the kimchi rolls have fish sauce.“
