“The new Wendy that just reopened was amazing. I ordered the Dave’s double bacon cheese and it was the best I have ever had in my life. I never knew a Wendy’s burger could taste this good. Why don’t other Wendy’s burgers taste this good and fresh? Like what’s happening???? I’m confused. How was it that good!!!!??? I hope the quality stays like this forever. “If you're looking for a culinary adventure, try Saffron De Twah, a Morcoccoan restaurant on the east side of Detroit. The food is amazing--the chicken sandwich is the best you'll ever have in your lifetime. Don't leave without trying the tea. What a presentation! Even more wonderful than the food is Chef/Owner Omar's hospitality & generousity!!! One of his core values is giving back to the commuity through the Saffron Community Kitchen and his YouTube presentations. Did I mention he is a James Beard finalist? I will return again & again. My only regret is I did not take photos.”

“I went to the Middle Eats on Eureka Rd in Southgate after the gym. My doctor put me a pretty restrictive diet due to my diabetes. I admit I was kind of apprehensive walking in because it’s been a real chore to stick to it when I have to eat out. I walked in and a young lady named Kayla R was at the counter. I apologized to her saying I need to ask questions about my order and I’m on dietary restrictions. She was incredibly nice and understanding. She asked me what I could and couldn’t eat and even made suggestions on how to make my meal that would comply to the restrictions. She even said she could make a phone call to find the exact ingredients of the sauce if I wanted her to. I was so impressed. In the end I got a bowl that complied to the dietary restrictions and it was very good. The other employees were also making suggestions and when I apologized for being a pain they all said they were happy to help. This wasn’t my first time there and it definitely won’t be my last. I can’t express my gratitude on how they all went totally out of their way to accommodate me. Thank you Kayla and staff!”

“We tried the Detroit Pepper Company tonight, first time! We went with the Detroit Stuffed Pepper, beef with parmesan cheese. Very good taste, and huge. We also ordered the Vegan Stuffed Pepper, but we will have to try it tomorrow for lunch...too full from the Detroit Stuffed Pepper! We also tried the lentil bean soup, very nice. And my wife enjoyed the Mango Tastic smoothie:-) We're happy to learn about the Detroit Pepper Company, and we'll be back. Highly recommended. A very clean take-out only place, with good food and a very friendly staff.”

“We've always had a great time here , service and food always amazing , I'm sure things were off this day we went . Our server was barely at our table and rushed off anytime we asked for something without asking the whole table . Food was good but some of the pastas lacked sauce . They had to give half off one of my friends meals. But will always come back :)”

“My friend and I had lunch at Coriander Kitchen and Farm yesterday 6/23. We came back because we enjoyed our first visit last year so much! However, at this visit the food was not so good. I ordered fish and chips and my fish was overcooked and the french fries were not hot. My friend ordered smelt which were awful and greasy which we sent back. We asked for lemon which never came to the table and our waiter seem to be the only one there and they were busy so I don't think we got the attention that we were due. I know this establishment can do better, so I will be going back. But yesterday's service and food were awful.”

“I recently tried Rollzz Ice Cream in Windsor and really enjoyed it! I ordered the Neutula Crunch and Kinder Bueno rolls — both were delicious. The ice cream was creamy, full of flavor, and had a great mix of textures. The staff were friendly and made the rolls right in front of me, which was fun to watch. Definitely worth a visit if you’re craving something sweet!”

“Enthusiasms and labors of love do not always, alas, translate to success. Fortunately, in the case of Sameday, it does! There are no bad beers here. There aren't even any mediocre, fill-in-the-menu beers. I'm not a big lagers fan, but the Someday lagers are well worth the pint, as are the Czech style pilsner. And then there are the IPA's, which are fantastic; and the stouts, a pleasant oatmeal stout or a no holds barred Midnight. The meads are just as excellent. (Except for the Sunday Afternoon, which you don't want to try, because that will leave more for me. Seriously. Try the April First.) No food. No distractions. Just beer (and mead) done very excellently well.”
