“Hands down, my absolute FAVORITE BAR in the Detroit Metro area. August the bartender is one of the coolest people you'll ever have the pleasure of meeting and knows how to pour a damn good drink. Be sure to ask August for a shot of Fernet and he'll tell you "It's like 1000 fairies dancing on your tongue!".”

“Everything was so good! I was absolutely stuffed by the time I left! Friendly and attentive staff; I got there early on a Sunday and I am glad I did because within the hour every table was full and there was a line to get in! The pickle soup was one of the best I have ever had.”

“Drinks were excellent/delicious with names appropriate to bar’s theme (and also with Halloween). Needs more non-sweet small food selections. The spinach pie is good but would be better if heated for 20 secs. Cannoli is good but doesn’t go with some alcoholic drinks. Overall — bravo on creating a good place to go for drinks!”

“We hosted a family dinner for ~25 people this weekend in the upstairs room. The food in the buffer was all excellent, way more than our party could finish. Service was great for our cash bar. Atmosphere was great for what we needed. Excellent spot if you're looking to host a shower or baptism luncheon too. We had an individual with food allergies in our party, and the restaurant was helpful in identifying ingredients in our menu selection and offering alternatives. Highly recommend.”

“Dairy Fairies Cafe is a hidden gem in Hamtramck. It’s a beautiful place! The cafe was beautifully decorated, and I was amazed by everything. I visited a while ago, so my pictures are a bit old. But even with pictures, it doesn't do it justice.

The staff were really lovely and friendly. I ordered a mango smoothie, an egg and cheese croissant, a boba iced coffee, Nutella mini pancakes, and a lotus shake with an everything bagel. Everything was delicious and came with cute stickers.

Overall, it’s a perfect spot to unwind and enjoy great food. I’ll definitely be back!”

“My co-worker has shared half of his bacon, egg and cheese croissant with me for months and I fell in love. Today was the first time I visited in person. The cafe is quaint and cozy. I got a London fog, and it was hot and creamy. I love how they have the bottle of simple syrup you can use to sweeten your drink to your likeness. The star of the show is my favorite sandwich, which is so buttery, crispy, smoky and delicious. It's almost criminal how good it is. The staff was friendly, and service was fast and efficient. I discovered today that the Hamtramck location is on my way to work, and I will be stopping in more often. I can't wait to try other things on the menu.”

“It was clean quick shop atmosphere. I had the whole wings combo. The honey garlic sauce was the best I’ve ever had wast the perfect blend of honey and garlic neither flavor was overpowering. What I really have brag about is how greaseless the fries and chicken were. I hate when my food drips with grease so I was very pleased with that. I will definitely return!”

It was late morning on a March Tuesday. We were a party of six, everyone ordering a different coffee drink. All six were happy with their drinks, including one of our party who works at a (nearly-nationwide) drive thru coffee place.
The atmosphere was chill. There were four or five individuals sitting/working and enjoying their coffees. The shop is larger inside than it initially appears; there's another room beyond the main/entry room with an upright piano and books lining the wall. If anything could be offered as an improvement, it *might* be the addition of a few more cafe tables/chairs in the 'library' room but only because it's such a cool room.
The building has character and history. Photos on the wall and some of the fixtures tell the story.
We'll make it a point to stop in next time we're in (or near!) Hamtramck.”

“Detroit is not exactly a hot bed of Late Night food spots (besides Coneys) so I was very happy to find Albasha. I stay up late and it’s been a reliable option when you don’t feel like chili fries for the 100th time.

Their Chicken Shwarma is really good and they customize it for you. I love a lot of garlic and super toasted, and that always gets done. I also get their Fatoosh Salad when I want something a little lighter and it’s really good, especially the chicken quality.

The area around the shop is quite safe, and when you walk in everyone in the shop is incredibly pleasant and accommodating. At 1 AM, I’m not really in the mood to have to earn the respect of the counter person, and you’ll never have any issues here.

“This small local cafe is a staple in this community. The service is great and the menu has a nice variety of options. They offer public Wifi and even games that can be played at the tables. I recommend a visted.

“While I love the flavor of their food, the only time we've had an order 100% correct was the first time we ordered. Every time we order since then there's something missing, fries overcooked and hard, messed up items, and things added to what we've ordered when we've requested it to be removed. Thankfully I simply don't like tomatoes and onions and am not allergic to them, cuz they ALWAYS forget to remove the pico when my receipt even says "no pico de gallo". Their queso blanco and their Sabor sauce are probably the two best things about them, at least when they remember to include it even if you pay for extra. For how pricey they are I would expect to have my order correct all the time. I'll be going down to the taco trucks in Southwest Detroit from now on cuz they always get the order right, they're delicious, AND they're inexpensive.”

“TAYLOR location. Tried for first time yesterday. Food was good, cashier super friendly. However, cleanliness is an issue here. Floors very sticky. Tabletops dirty/sticky. Trash can has smell. You know what they say about first impressions... I'll try again soon and see if it was a fluke.”

The chicken, rice and veggies were cooked perfect and the seasonings they used were full of flavor. It came with a house salad and bread. The salad dressing was like fattoush. Big portions! The lunch special was 11.99 and does not come with a drink. I'll be back!”

Delivery is available and the restaurant is oriented where is very takeout friendly has one booth in there if you’d like to sit in And eat while it’s piping hot. Love the place thank you. Need some halal meat in there but ive been happy with the veggie options So far
