Far and away the best Polish restaurant and is still in Hamtramck! Best selection of menu items and everything is done very well. Service is fast and often native Polish speaking. Kitchen staff look hard working. Decor was redone a couple of years ago, for an authentic feel. Should be on your list to make the effort to go there!!
Stopped on the way to LCA for a hockey game and it was like being in Poland. Started with the bacon spread and it took me back to Zakopane. I couldn't decide on a main so I got the combination, which had a little of everything. Served piping hot and very quickly (I wasn’t even finished with my dill pickle soup!). Best polish restaurant I’ve ever been to: the dill pickle soup is unusual and comforting, the cucumber salad made me feel nostalgic, and the potato pierogi were large and delicious. Can’t wait to go back!!!
