Typically bakery as walking into any bakery BUT this isn’t just any ‘ol bakery. It’s POLISH, to die for paczkis, unique flavors like “peanut and jelly,” cookies, cakes, Angel cookies, scones that are so yummy! My personal favorite!! Yumm! AND So much more!!Worth the trip!! Will be back! I want to order the truffle cake!!Staff were so happy and helpful
This pre-Paczki day weekend, we decided to try out and compare three different paczki bakeries. New Palace Bakery came highly recommended and was first on our list to visit. The interior was like a madhouse even thought it was less than an hour after they opened on Saturday. Luckily they have a number system to help with making things orderly but I can't even imagine what it would be like going in on Fat Tuesday... Prior to coming to Michigan I had never heard of a paczki, much less that there was a whole paczki day leading up to Mardi Gras. Luckily my visit coincided with the lead up to paczki day, and we came here to get a few while we were in Detroit. The bakery was PACKED. I had no idea jelly donuts caused this much of an uproar.
