“My husband and I are Symphony regulars and usually eat at a pricey restaurant downtown or go back to the suburbs. This time, I did my homework and read reviews of inexpensive four-five star places near Orchestra Hall. OMG, did we pick a winner! The food is terrific and the staff is wonderful. LAUREN was the friendliest, sweetest, most helpful server we have had in a long time, and we will ask for her again. I had the 1/4 dark chicken (2 drums and a thigh) and my husband had a chicken sandwich. The juiciest, tastiest chicken! We shared mac n cheese and spoonbread per Lauren's advice. All pure comfort food and pure heaven. I had a beer and Jim had sweet tea. All this for $48. And if you have trouble finding a parking spot, call and the manager will meet you outside and direct you to the lot. $5 on weekends.“

“Parking is in front of the building. Soul food is very good. The greens, cabbage and yams are all very good. Mac and cheese, is good as well. I’ve tried a few things and the service was good. My only issue was the fried chicken breast dinner was decent not my favorite item. But catfish is good and pork chops were good too and my go to items. Go check them out.Parking: Parking is available in front of the building.“
“I'd heard about Bunny Bunny and wasn't sure what to expect when I visited! Rather than a standard sit down restaurant like I had envisioned the space is set up as a walk up counter where you place your order, receive a buzzer, and pick up the food on a tray when it's complete. There is a duo the runs the kitchen and cook all the food so be prepared to a wait a minute. It's not a full back of the house situation! What I love about Bunny Bunny is the freshness- with the counter and open kitchen design you can see them freshly preparing food made to order. The menu seems to be rotating - we had a chance to try the popcorn chicken, naan, and crab fried rice which were all tasty. Bunny Bunny is connected to a bar upstairs called Collect where you can find additional seating, beer, wine, and a few spirits. Overall i'd recommend Bunny Bunny if you're looking for something unique and different to try that's not a traditional sit down restaurant experience.“

“Hamtown is the best place to go if your looking for amazing soul food cooked fresh daily with expertise and a passion for cooking incredible food. Everything I've had from here has been delicious, even the mashed potatoes and gravy which may seem basic and underwhelming is so flavorful, smooth and rich, believe me the mash is not to be overlooked. Anything you order from hamtown will undoubtedly hit the soul food craving you have.“
