“This summer I threw a surprise 70th birthday party for my wife for about 24 people. After checking a dozen or so places in the area, I decided on the Dukes and I couldn't be happier about my decision. They catered quickly to our every request and gave us a whole room to ourselves. They let us bring in our own decorations and we were all able to stand up, move around and mingle with each other. Besides that, the food was great, the prices very fair and the manager went out of her way to make sure we were well served. If you're looking for a place for your next party, I strongly recommend the Dukes of Highland. Ken W.“

“Great food and great staff. Began going to Sparkies 2 or 3 times per month about 8 or 9 months ago. With the exception of one visit, which I spoke to management about, every visit has been excellent. Typical restaurant noise, a little loud for people that are hard of hearing during their busiest hours, but not any worse than any other place around. Everything we have tried has been exceptional. Our favorites are the Fish and Chips and the Jambalaya“

“Incredible. Hidden gem. I did not expect this place to be as solid as it is, but we've eaten here twice with multiple people, and everything that has been ordered has been impressive.Even stuff like the soups have something special in them that makes it amazing.“

“First time dining passing through Commerce MI.Started with Tomato Bruschetta very disappointing in general. The Crostini was soggy and could be used as the topper for a french onion soup, the topping itself was not very good either. This misstep wouldn't prevent us from returning.Wife had Mystic Carbonara and thoroughly enjoyed it. I dined a little lighter with Sweet & Spicy Calamari as an entree and also enjoyed the dish. Our server Mark was attentive and professional. The restaurant itself is very inviting and we could envisionourselves regulars if we lived in the area.“

“Yet to try this place but have heard good things! The cocktails were great and lots of unique options. We have a country fried chicken which the chicken was crunchy and gravy was delicious. Cornbread is a bit bland for me and mash too. My friend chicken sando was also great! The service was great and quick. Forgot to add the crab cakes were divine! Highly recommend that but I'll be back to try different items!“

“Grew up in Milford and have been coming to Red Dog for years. The atmosphere is great. A great place to grab a good bite and get a Molson. They re modeled the place and it is much bigger and even nicer than before. Highly recommend for a good burger/beer. Also, plenty of things to do: Darts, billiards, karaoke, and live music often“

“To quote my sister, "their food has no business being as good as it is" glengarry is the cutest little local bar with great food and service. Everyone is so friendly there, and in the summer they have a really nice patio to enjoy food and drinks outside. They even have karaoke nights and live music!! Great place to hang out, get a bite to eat or have a drink at the bar!!“

“So, setvice was so good, lovely lady and did not ever slow down. Food could be a bit better. Ordered the tots, really good side dish, but needs some sour cream on the side. Also, extremely stingy on the coleslaw sidedish....was about a cup full, and charge was 4.50 crazy expensive for cole slaw, especially considering it was a bit dry, and not seasoned. The smoked wings were also dry, and a bit tough. I love Milford and watching people walk around the city. But, personally think the food quality has not kept up with the high prices.“
“We hosted a weekend afternoon event at this location. The staff and owner couldn't have been nicer to work with. The owner, Sue, went above and beyond, such a lovely person to work with. This restaurant/bar is fantastic. Great location, right on the water. Great outdoor space. Highly recommend.“

“Went to open mic night on a Monday. Liked the atmosphere a lot. Service was excellent!! Waitstaff was kind and friendly and on top of things. Great ambiance. The prices for a Monday and no happy hour on a Monday was a bit off putting. On average beers were $8 (basic beer). White claws $6.50. Sliders $2 each. Chips and salsa $4. I thought the food was good and decent prices but beers were pretty pricey.“

“First of all...Do you really care why or when we stopped in here to eat? (You gotta love all these wannabe food/restaurant critics that feel like they need to share their life story with you. Lol) Here's the nitty gritty: The manager seated us at our table and even thanked us for stopping in. Our group enjoyed their pretzels and cheese appetizer, fish tacos, french dip, chicken strips and salted carmel baked cookie dessert. Portion sizes were good-great. Our waitress was very attentive and knowledgeable. Their prices were comparable to what you'll find at other similar restaurants these days. Give Mackle's a try!“

“I had given a raving review to this place until tonight when Miranda started handling things. Our food was cold, cold, cold, and Miranda tried to turn the tables as if it were our fault. Shocking a bit, but her terse defensive manner was the first red flag that she sucked at her job once she was told about the awful experience we had. She was hateful and rude and made excuses and blamed us for their short comings in the kitchen.Did you know that at Billy's Tip-n- Inn YOU'RE expected to make sure everything is okay before you leave? That's what she said. E.g. We should, as patrons, do they're job and make sure things are thoroughly cooked. ?They lost two regular customers.“

“We really enjoy coming to this place. Have always enjoyed the pizza. My only complaint is the buffalo chicken dip. It actually needs to have chicken in it. We found a couple of small shreds. That was it. I understand prices and inflation and all that stuff, but when you charge that much, give the customer what they pay for. That's all.“

“This is a regular stop for us, but we just had some amazing biscuits and gravy today that I had to rave about! They are on special and not a regular menu item, but I hope they get added! Paired with their house made Bloody Mary it was perfect. Great service and staff as always.“

“I almost didn't come here because I read the reviews, but I decided to come here on a whim and man I'm glad I did. The bartender was kind and heavy handed to say the least. the food and drinks were very reasonably priced and it's undeserving of such reviews in my opinion. It's nothing fancy, but that's not something I was really looking for. 10/10 would go again!“

“Felt like some southwestern food so started with the chips and salsa. The chips were seasoned adding a little extra flavor and the fire roasted salsa was spicy but not too much. Service was quick and friendly and the beer was cold. The Taco Salad with chicken was very good and really satisfied my run for the border appetite. Can't wait to "come back" and try a pizza. The ones I saw come out looked wonderful.“
