“This is a good spot; it's nicer than you might assume due to its location in the strip mall. It's a little small. If it weren't for the overflow seating area next door, the space would be pretty limited, so I'm grateful for the extra room! It seems that it might be temporary. I'd imagine that when new tenants move in, that area will go away.“

I ordered a mango smoothie, there was a miscommunication about having the cream on top, and they were so helpful in getting me a new one. It may have been my fault because my hearing is not the best. Regardless, they were very friendly and accommodating. My mother who used to have her own bakery, and is now retired, is quite a baked goods snob. In a good way. She loved the three different desserts I had her try. She usually doesn't like anyone's baked goods, but her own, but I could tell she absolutely loved the crêpe cake, the strawberry shortcake cup, and the dark chocolate cheesecake.The baked goods were so good, I went back later this evening, to get a mango slush, made with real fruit, and two other baked goods.“

“What an amazing hidden gem full of DELICIOUS healthy foods and drinks. Today was my first visit and already I’m phoning friends trying to make dates to go back and grab a bite to eat! “Very cute coffee shop. Not a ton of space, so either take to go or hope you go at a slow time of day. They have a small 2-person table, a large table in the center, and window bar seating. Yes, there is wifi. I had the large size of the drink titled Spring Fling on the specials sign next to the register. It was full of flavor. Very large sharable portions and nothing was over $18.50; Most items were priced between $10-$15.The only minor mishap we had was our waiter did not speak hardly any English so our questions could not be answered about the new foods we wanted to try. Luckily the online menu shows pictures of all their dishes and we had our phones so we could google everything to understand what the dishes were. “A Recent visit after many months away from area. The restaurant was very busy on a wknd. We had a typical, eggs, sausage, toast, and hashbrown potatoes. With coffee. Service was pleasant and very efficient. This place brings an insulated pitcher of coffee. For abt 4 cup refills. There were abt 4 servers. All appeared very efficient. The restrooms were clean, at this late in the morning time. Lots of free prkng. Very modest pricing. Highly recommend Fernando's Café. Update March '24. Late morning wknd visit. Place was totally full at 1pm. Were able to get a table rite away. Order taken, food served very timely, food prepared as requested. Excellent service. Restrooms in good shape during a busy period. Again, we got a take-out cup for our remaining coffee. Very friendly & courteous service. We like this place. Much better pricing & service compared to Anna's House.“

“I went here for the first time today and was blown away. To start, the staff was so friendly (shoutout Lesley and Chloe). Since it was my first time, they gave me suggestions based of my dietary restrictions (vegetarian) and my taste of coffee (sweeter). I got the Greek wrap without the chicken and added avocado based on Lesley's recommendation. It tasted great. Chloe suggested the Smores latte and it was exactly what I wanted. I sat in the Cafe for some time on my laptop (they offer wifi :)) and Chloe and Lesley were so friendly. They also had multiple regulars come in during this time and they remembered their orders; they clearly had built relationships with these customers.“

But there’s never a wait, the service is always fabulous, and the food and drinks are always perfect. Zero complaints about this Biggby! Give these people an award!“

The quiche is always terrific, again it doesn't matter which one you get. My go to is the BLT but I switch it the mayo for mustard. Great place for lunch and a slice of pie!“

“My wife and I often stop on weekends before our grandkid’s hockey games up the road off Hannah. It can be very busy or totally dead in here but the staff is usually quick to get our coffee/chai tea orders prepared. No drive through option here but parking is usually available right out front. Just need to be careful backing out.Parking: Parking spots are a bit tight especially in snowy weather.“

“Let me preface this with the fact that I travel all over the state of Michigan for my job. I swing into coffee shops all the time when I’m on the road and give employees of coffee shops and cafes the opportunity to make whatever they want and have creative freedom. I’ve swing into this location a couple of different times but the last two times I’ve been here have prompted me to make a review. The barista Josh know how to make a coffee. It was a mocha cold brew with white chocolate and mint. It was so good I thought about it periodically throughout the week until I was back into Lansing for the day. The customer service of this store is amazing too, Sophia is who I talked two the last two times I visited. this is a store with two highly rated employees. These two definitely deserve recognition for the quality of work they carry out.“
