“My first time and the product is delicious. The gentleman at the counter was a delight. I bought pastries that are definitely worth going out of your way. Chocolate chip cookies that even my husband liked (he’s not a fan of choc chip cookies). Piece de resistance was the rustic French sour dough is melt in your mouth with the perfect hard crust. I can’t wait to go back“
“Randomly passed by on Saturday and decided to stop in for a hot chocolate - we were in luck because they had a hot chocolate bar menu! I enjoyed the Turtle while my husband had a Mayan. We also ordered a Miracle cookie bar because they are my favorite cookie. This place took yum to a high level!Dietary restrictions: They have non-milk options.“
“I moved to Michigan from Philadelphia and this pizza is hands down the best in the Kalamazoo area and the closest I have found to true East coast style crust and sauce. AMAZING! Love the specialty pies as well, barbeque in particular. Also the garlic knots are my favorite!“
“Spent my teens here many nights 20 years ago. Hasn't changed much for the better. Not sure if you can still get Crowes Nest delivered downstairs, but that's where the food is at. Cheap coffee and chess sets are for the cafe. Keep doing you.“

“This store on Cork St. in Kal. has been open *decades* and it's wonderful, if not verrry tempting to get items-for-a-song, that are not on your physical or mental shopping list. Woohoo! Pastry, snack items too. Never had trouble with spoiled, rancid, or mouldy product whatsoever! The store is up atop a very steep hill on the Southside of Cork. You have to keep your eyes peeled. The sign at roadside is touch to see. If you're coming from Portage/Lover's Ln. it's on your left before the Corner of Cork/Burdick... I gotta call them now, 6/2021 to ee if they're open yet, what with changing MI openings, etc. I'd cll them before showing up. Best!“
“(April 2024 update) We still greatly enjoy Victorian Bakery's goodies and we find ourselves visiting almost weekly. You can't go wrong with the bread loaves or anything behind the glass: breakfast quiche, croissants, danishes, scones, the more dessert-y type items as well. I also really appreciate their commitment to supporting other small businesses in the community and adding to their visibility via social media. “My review will be based on customer service . I was desperate to find a cake to be delivered to a friend of mine who had just been placed in hospice on his birthday today. I have been looking for someone who could deliver a for almost 4 days, but due to the remoteness of his home I was turned down. I was referred to Bert's bakery. Rita answered the phone and listened to my story. Within 15 minutes the order was placed and delivered today as well . Although my friend is very ill, he enjoyed having a piece of cake for his birthday along with his brother and two sons. They said the Almond poppy seed cake was delicious. My friend said that he did not remember the last time he blew out a birthday candle. Thank you Rita for making this happen and having the Compassionate Heart that you do. This made my day as well . I was sent a photo of the cake and it was beautiful“
“We tried a little bit of everything since it was our first time there. There is a small language barrier but the ladies were still very helpful and nice. We got the chicken tacos, beef tacos, tamales, and I don't know the name of the other item ?♀️? but I took pictures! Everything was really good, the tamales were very different from Mexican tamales. They weren't bad, just unexpectedly different, I don't know if we'd get those again. It was made with rice and what appeared to be an entire chicken thigh - bone and all. Would highly recommend trying tho, will be going back on a Saturday to try their bakery items ?“
“I ordered the gluten free carrot cake cupcakes for a work event, and they were a HUGE HIT! Everyone loved them and asked where I had gotten them from. I will definitely be ordering again soon! The cupcakes were super moist, cream cheese frosting was the right amount of sweetness to the large sized cupcake. I also ordered them on a Monday and was able to pick up Wednesday evening, thanks so much for the last minute order and the wonderful cupcakes! Can’t wait to try more flavors!“

He called me right back, we talked about my order and delivery as I am out of state.
