“We ate at Brick and Brine for our anniversary this year, because we knew they had good food and they were open on a Monday! I had lobster bisque as an appetizer which was delicious. I had the scallops which came on a risotto base with broccolini as a side. The giant scallops were cooked very well and were melt-in-you-mouth tender on the inside, but lightly crisped on the outside. My wife had the 14 oz tomahawk pork chop, which was massive, but cooked to medium and was delicious. We also ordered a side of fingerling potatoes, which are served family style and are sufficient for a party of 4 instead of 2. But that gave us enough to bring home a box of about 1/2 the pork chops as well as potatoes. Our service was good, but the only glitch was a rather lengthy gap between finishing our meal and the return of our waitress to check on dessert or after-dinner drinks. The prices seem rather high, but considering we got three meals out of the dinner, they were not out of range. We will be coming back!”

We were able to make a menu that not only accommodated vegans, vegetarians, nut allergies, and gluten sensitivities, but also provided a complete meal for those guests. We heard from just about every one of our 140+ guests how it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding. Many of the guests were not familiar with Mediterranean food, but they left with a new favorite cuisine. The staff were extremely helpful throughout the process and were very enthusiastic about giving us the best experience possible. We would highly recommend them for anything from dining in to catering larger events.”

Their kids menu is also refreshing because it offered things other than corn dogs and nuggets like most places. “I was so excited to find your menu online. I am always in the neighborhood and craving sushi, however I can’t eat anything with shellfish and I don’t eat anything rawr. So that makes things limited for me, however I found they had my favorite roll the Diablo roll! I was thrilled, went and picked it up and it was beautiful, it was so delicious. The service was great! 10/10 would recommend coming here for lunch or dinner! Will be back soon!”

No anemic smash burgers here. Special flavor combos, meaty patties, always juicy and well-made. Fast, friendly service. I always order the smokehouse and my husband always orders the kirby, both absolute winners. Try it.”

The theme of the store as soon as you walk in is great. Music, people talking enjoying themselves, and the sound of drink glasses clinking.1 thing that sets this place above is the cosmic fries "crack fries". If you come for 1 thing make it the fries. Their take on cheese curds were phenomenal as well. All cheese and little breading. The rodeo clown burger is the first time ever in my life using a knife and fork on a burger. It was so messy but so good.Price is a little high but what do you expect in these times and from an establishment that's in a downtown setting. That you for the great night with my girls.”

Ordered a 12" pepperoni and bacon pizza to go. 10 - 15 minutes later, I was walking out with a hot, fresh pizza. The crust is a soft dough, almost soft breadstick like, finished with a buttery and parm sprinkle. Generous toppings. Couldn't finish the whole thing and had the last slice in the morning for breakfast. It's one of a small few pizzas that is good cold the next day. - Friendly, helpful staff.Parking: The parking lot is on the smaller side and could be a little difficult to get in and out of. + Access from two streets.”

Love O'Duffy's gorgeous bar, the Spinach Feta burger, the drinks...so many awesome evenings with friends being naughty. If you know, you know! The place also has an amazing upstairs, COSMO'S!!!! I was there for opening day at Cosmo's back in day!!! Best bacon to this day EVER!!!”

“I don’t like doing one stars anymore. If someone has that bad of a opinion nobody forced you to go here . A lot of people crying over prices. Again nobody made you buy here . But on the other hand everything I ate wasn’t very fresh. To eat the French toast you need a cup of water to dip it in . Way to hard . I got hash here and was like rocks . The slushes are the best . But nice little snack area. Only thing two employees was talking and I walked up stood there for 30 seconds and they still didn’t say anything. So I said excuse me . Still nothing. So I walked away . They then tried to help me and I said nvm pay attention to your customers. With all this I still give a 5 star. Because it helps a manager talk to these people to fix the issues. If you complain about the price and give a one star , just seems crazy . Also with COVID I think they should clean the tables. Couldn’t find one clean table and they just stood there for most part”

Very friendly staff was able to meet the manager and found out it's a small "family" business as the hostess is her sister and our waitress was her daughter. I didn't need it until a couple days later and the receipt said to not make it until said time of order. Yet I still got it early. I'm impressed with there food the last time I went it was tasty and worth it. I prefer Jimmy johns over subway. There subs are better. Idk what kinda bread they got but it's really good. What makes Nonla amazing is the quality ingredients, quick and friendly service, and incredible rotating special menu. The classic burger is a thing of beauty. Lacy beef perfectly grilled to crispy perfection surrounding a perfectly cooked center slathered in American cheese, crisp lettuce, onions and a sauce that is reminiscent of YumYum sauce. All in all a near perfect burger. The Nonla way takes your experience to a whole new level with the addition of thinly sliced jalepeños, perfectly cool slices of cucumber, cilantro, and grilled onions takes this to a Bahn Mi esque experience that makes it truly a culinary delight. I live thirty minutes away and willing make the journey as much as my wife allows. The vegetarian options are not an afterthought but a shining example of how to do good food for a varied audience. Nate and I were in town for the weekend recently and we actually went to Bell's twice in two days. The first visit we shared a couple of flights and a snack, and then we did the brewery tour the next day. One featured sours and darker beers, and one was more of their mainstays. It was nice to be able to try some options this way, but I prefer being able to build my own flight. Not sure if that's an option here, but it was pretty busy so we just went with it. The menu has lots of tasty options! We went with the popcorn (brown butter, garlic, salt, and pepper) and a featured item, the brat. That came with fries or a salad which was nice - we went with the salad. I always love options. The beers were all tasty and I think you can find something for everyone there. The food was really good! I LOVED the popcorn. It's one of my favorite snacks and theirs is delicious. And the asparagus accompanying it tasted as if it was picked fresh that day.As I was finishing up my meal and waiting for my bill the manager, Terry (I believe), came over to ask how my experience was.I told him I was very happy and surprised by how excellent the meal and atmosphere were. He thanked me profusely and welcomed me back next time I'm in the area. Toyo was extremely thoughtful and helpful when communicating with me on what would work best for my retreat. She worked with me on quantity and variety of juices for my guest and provided cute containers for each juice. She above and beyond in helping my store the containers until I could pick them up the day before I left for my retreat. If you are ever in Kalamazoo, try to get one of their juices. What makes Nonla amazing is the quality ingredients, quick and friendly service, and incredible rotating special menu. The classic burger is a thing of beauty. Lacy beef perfectly grilled to crispy perfection surrounding a perfectly cooked center slathered in American cheese, crisp lettuce, onions and a sauce that is reminiscent of YumYum sauce. All in all a near perfect burger. The Nonla way takes your experience to a whole new level with the addition of thinly sliced jalepeños, perfectly cool slices of cucumber, cilantro, and grilled onions takes this to a Bahn Mi esque experience that makes it truly a culinary delight. I live thirty minutes away and willing make the journey as much as my wife allows. The vegetarian options are not an afterthought but a shining example of how to do good food for a varied audience. So that makes things limited for me, however I found they had my favorite roll the Diablo roll! I was thrilled, went and picked it up and it was beautiful, it was so delicious.
