We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Fuze last Saturday evening. We started with cocktails. The Jitter Bug, a riff on a margarita featuring espresso infused tequila, was yummy and my husband's enjoyed an old fashion made with fig and almond infused bourbon. We each lapped up a small Greek salad and then moved on to entrees. I had the duck breast with Thai peanut noodle salad and my husband ordered the Wagyu burger. Both proteins were cooked to a perfect medium rare as ordered. The Thai peanut noodle salad was delicious and enough for me to take home to enjoy another time. Service was spot on and we were allowed to sip our cocktails and chat prior to ordering our dinner. Once ordered the dinner was well timed to allow us to enjoy our salads prior to receiving our hot entrees. Fuze is a small restaurant right on Michigan avenue in Kalamazoo. The decor is minimalistic except for a colorful mural on the back wall that is quite nicely done. Plenty of 90 minus free parking spaces are available all along Michigan Ave and we were able to park pretty much right out front. Fuze currently does take out as well and there is a designated parking space right outside the door for this curb-side service. We will be back!

This place was amazing. Had the charcuterie to start, the server was very knowledgeable about the offerings and it was delicious. For entrees, I had the duck breast which was divine, the peanut noodles were perfect, veggies were fresh and crisp. My wife had the duck rillette for her entree, also amazing. Cocktails were great, this place is a definite yes in Kalamazoo.

Wagyu burger was good. Didn’t really like the rosemary fries. They were soggy and tasted weird. They offer local soda products which were delicious. Kitchen closed at 8:30. We arrived at 8:20 and they were nice enough to get our order in. You have to use your phone to scan the code to bring up the menu which sucked because I was in town visiting and barely had service. But atmosphere was great and we enjoyed all our meals.

5-Star Everything! Well, almost everything. The fuze bowl lacked sauce- it was a bit dry. Everything else was delightful! The ambiance in the summer on Bates Alley is really nice- tables, live performers, chill... Fuze is well-located. Great staff & overall great food.

This was our second time to Fuze, but the first during this Covid craziness. They have done a great job limiting their menu but still providing excellent service and delicious food. The outdoor seating is cute, and the lighting at nighttime is very sweet. Highly recommend!
Carried out duck and fried chicken tonight and it was phenomenal! Their food always is good but was a special treat tonight after staying in and having to cook for ourselves a few nights. Chicken was the tenderest I’ve ever had!
