I used the drive thru for the first time! I think the people working at the time need some more training with the drive thru. They took my order and did not tell me a total or to pull up to the window so it was a little awkward.As I waited at the window two cars that appeared to be waiting at the call box sped away in anger. I assume they were not helped given the aforementioned experience but they did not warrant my rating.I was greeted at the window and I think the worker seemed a little confused with me? I have an effeminate voice but look a bit more masculine feature wise. I am used to some exchange or glance, but this was different and nuanced. My guess was she was maybe a little homophobic but that is not my business, it was just kinda rude and I wanted food. She handed me the bill, I left it on the counter outside the window, she looked at it and I said have a nice day and she rolled her eyes.Full disclosure, I did not leave a tip for these reasons:- this is a fast food/fast casual restaurant- Nonla is growing and should pay its employees a wage that of which do not require a tip- She was rude (but this can be helped with encouragement and training!)I understand that not leaving a tip can be disappointing, and I hope it was. I too was disappointed. The food was good as usual, surprisingly fast this time, but I do hope that in the future workers reserve judgement until after customers leave.

Our hamburgers were cold and not seasoned and overcooked. The french fries seem to be of the frozen variety and not hand cut fresh. They were also served cold and soggy. For what we paid and the quality that we were served we will not be returning. Worst napkins in the city.

I cannot give a higher rating to a burger joint in Michigan and I would put them up against any burger spot nation wide.
What makes Nonla amazing is the quality ingredients, quick and friendly service, and incredible rotating special menu.
The classic burger is a thing of beauty. Lacy beef perfectly grilled to crispy perfection surrounding a perfectly cooked center slathered in American cheese, crisp lettuce, onions and a sauce that is reminiscent of YumYum sauce. All in all a near perfect burger.
The Nonla way takes your experience to a whole new level with the addition of thinly sliced jalepeños, perfectly cool slices of cucumber, cilantro, and grilled onions takes this to a Bahn Mi esque experience that makes it truly a culinary delight.
I live thirty minutes away and willing make the journey as much as my wife allows. The vegetarian options are not an afterthought but a shining example of how to do good food for a varied audience.
Nonla you’re killing it and I hope you expand!
Food and customer service here is amazing! Fries are cooked to perfection and so addicting. The Avocado Fried Chicken Club that was on special was crispy and amazing but usually I get the classic burger which is great!

How does this place get the reviews it has? Cold, thin,dry cheeseburger. You can tell when it's fresh it tastes OK, but the fries? Again cold, dry fries with a slice of American cheese on top? I'm glad Nonla has a loyal following, I'm sure at some point they deserved it, but it's not for me. Y'all know 5 guys exists, right? We also aren't from Kalamazoo, so maybe it's a local thing.

Great food. Lousy packaging. I just spent 15$ for this combo to go. When I got home, the burger had fused with the bag it was in, and my burger came out with half the cheese stuck inside. I called and let them know about it, and they said they "maybe" will change it. Well, I'll show you what my burger looks like, so maybe you can ask them to wrap completely when you get it to go so you don't have the same experience as I did.Edit: After leaving a message on their Facebook page, the owner got back to me and explained they are exploring new packaging options and will make sure staff is informed about properly packaging to go orders. Thank you, much appreciated. I have changed my review score with a little room for improvement when/if these packaging changes happen. Overall, I am pleased with how this problem was handled.
