“Nice take out place! Worker was super nice and food was good! Rolls are a little smaller than what I’m used to but cheap enough that I can order two. I got a ginger salad, which was huge for price. The website kind of sucks, if you have any customization, I recommend calling to place the order.“

Went here for my husband’s bday with couple of our frends, they had a hand written note wishing him bday which was very sweet .We ordered Natsu , unkai , juraku & hiro in speciality rolls , lobster fried rice - which had an amazing taste full points to the fried rice but the lobster was very chewy which was a disappointment but ignored it cos overall the food was 10/10 . Also we had their handmade fries which was just perfect fries . We had couple of cocktails and sake. Overall amazing service and the end of the dinner they lit a candle to celebrate my husband bday.“

“Not only does Sharaku has some of the best, and freshest sushi around, the staff and owners are extremely pleasant and friendly! The service is always prompt, and attentive, and the kitchen is quick to turn out your order. The Menu is extensive, offering something for everyone's palate. “My friend and I stumbled on this place on accident. I'm so happy that we found this place! I live close so they'll have a repeat customer. The service was great, the lady was so sweet & patient with us. There's so many options to choose from so it'll take you a minute. I had the popcorn lobster and firecracker rolls they were delicious. My friend loved her Mr. Nice and Mexican rolls. We went on a Monday afternoon and it was pretty quiet. However, as the time progressed we noticed more families coming to dine in. “I was skeptical to try this place due to the prices, however I took a chance and was NOT disappointed. I got the Korean beef and white rice. The meat was high quality and the rice was cooked perfectly. The portion sizes for one meal were easily enough for 2 people.I was greeted as I walked in and the server on duty immediately went to retrieve my order. I was inside maybe 3 minutes after placing an order online.I wish there was a half size available for this meal, but overall my experience here was much better than many other restaurants in the area.The service and food are top notch, try this place.“

“We really had a good time at Joe Muer West Bloomfield last night. The restaurant is spacious with a cool, relaxed ambiance. There's a dress code to eat here so be sure to adhere to that. Everyone in the restaurant was dressed business casual at minimum and it honestly added to the upscale vibe of the whole place. We started off with a dozen oysters, half east coast half west. The presentation was impeccable and the oysters super fresh. The lobster bisque and clam chowder were also fresh and lip-smacking tasty . For our main dishes, we had the miso glazed Chilean sea bass, the king crab tagliatelle pasta, and the crab stuffed Atlantic flounder. All three were amazing; filling and delicious and didn't sit heavy in the stomach. We ended the night with some of their coconut chiffon cake - which is a must have; its a combo that's impossible to describe but so wonderful that you'd wonder why no one else ever thought of it - and their cookie sundae. Again, perfect! But probably my personal favorite was the Re-Fashioned bourbon cocktail, which is, and I quote: "Knob Kreek Rye, Luxardo Maraschino liqueur, Rabarbaro Zucca Amaro, Angostura bitters, orange peel". It's absolutely perfect, especially those who enjoy a good bourbon drink. Tiny sips of this enhanced every single dish and really made my night. Our server was Josh and he made the whole dining experience fun and memorable. He was super personable, responsive and attentive. Thank you, Josh, for a great dining experience! Overall, this place is fantastic and I'd recommend it without hesitation.“

“I normally order the amazing shrimp roll with the dumpling soup. I ordered while sitting in the parking lot. Always, friendly and fast service. However, this time the soup was cloudy(normally clear like broth) and the dumpling taste was gooey/pastey like everything else inside. Times in the past I've ordered this soup, it's bright, fresh, slight crunch of the vegetables and soothing to the stomach(not this time)....I don't know if it had been sitting too long prior to being served but I hope this was just a one time failure. “I had the customizable poke bowl. I asked for a recommendation on sauces from the young man who prepared the fish and it was delicious. He mixed a few different sauces and it was so good. I’m from Hawaii and have also lived in Japan for several years. I’ve eaten a lot of poke bowls on the mainland and this is easily one of the best poke bowls I’ve had outside of Hawaii. The fish tasted fresh and I love that they use vinegar sushi rice in the bowl instead of plain rice.“

“The woman at the front was very quick to take our order and payment. You could see the sushi chef working behind the counter as you wait, which wasn’t long it only took about 4-5 minutes for our order to be ready. We received it and it was warm from being freshly prepared, it smelled amazing on the ride home. Had the spicy cali roll and the novi rolls (16 pieces in total) and it was gone within 10 minutes of being inside our house. SO GOOD. “Bowl with ahi tuna and salmon, delivered. Bowl was fresh which is what you want from a sushi/poke place. I was debating which combinations of base layer, meat, toppings, sauce, vege to get but honestly any combo works and you really can't go wrong. I especially enjoyed the spicy mayo, wasabi soy, sesame ginger. In the picture I posted, the top is the layer with content, there is a lot of rice/spring mix on the bottom. So just know it is like 60% rice/spring mix 40% other content which is a bit small for the price but wasn't bad. I overall enjoyed it and would return. Service was quick.“
