“I’ve had my fair share of burgers, but this one stands out for all the right reasons.

From the first bite, the balance was immediately noticeable — a perfectly toasted bun that held up without getting soggy, a juicy patty cooked right in the sweet spot (crispy edges with a tender, flavorful center), and fresh toppings that actually added to the burger instead of overpowering it.

The cheese melt was ideal — rich and creamy, wrapping everything together without turning greasy. Every ingredient tasted intentional, like nothing was just thrown on the grill for convenience. The seasoning on the beef deserves special mention too — simple, but done right so the flavor of the meat really shines through.

What really makes this burger memorable is the texture contrast: soft bun, crisp lettuce, juicy tomato, and that satisfying bite from the seared patty. It’s the kind of burger that doesn’t need extra sauce to carry it, but still tastes great if you add your favorite condiments.

So I searched around and found Calder's. We love it 💕 please don't stop suppling food town! We also just got the chocolate milk to try and it's also delicious! One of the best ones I've had. A favorite in Lincoln Park 3073 Fort has a large following of regular customers 😁. $1.79 each Taco Tuesday packs the place for dine in and take out customers. Sergio, wife Karen and sister Yolanda run the place along with help from three kids. Jalisco Mexico the hometown via Sw Detroit has marvelous Authentic Mexican meals and Booze too. My favorite Al Pastor Tacos 😋 rule, I'm addicted have them once per month. I have them add Sauteed Onions and Jalapeno for a Xtra kicker, with fabulous Salsa Verde. She had the Chicken Tacos 😋, we shared a outstanding Steak Fries. Those fries one of the very best ever Eaten, plenty for 3 or more to share. “Ordered late lunch yesterday. Friend got the smothered chicken dinner w/cole slaw side, also ordered a patty melt w/broasted potatoes, and a chili dog. Not sure why we haven't ordered before, because EVERYTHING was simply deliciouso!!!!

Firstly, dinner came w/green beans and she hates them - but they were the 1st thing she gobbled down - nice and fresh! And, the smothered chicken was enuf for 2 days, it was a huge portion and 'smothered' very well.

The broasted potatoes were a pleasant surprise - didn't know they'd be huge wedges, and perfectly cooked (even gave us sour cream for them)!!

The patty melt was typical and was good, cooked as ordered.

Only issue we had was that the chili on the chili dog has seeped out of its packaging and was all over the inside of bag and other containers. And, the containers should have vent holes opened, otherwise bread/potatoes/etc get soggy.”

There’s an authentic neighborhood vibe, the cheapest pool in town, a wide variety of alcohol and a good variety of your typical local bar including fried foods such as fries mozerella sticks, fried pickles, and more! They also serve burgers and chicken sandwiches which are both delicious! And on Fridays we have a kicking Karaoke night with Karaoke with ADHDalex of Audial Entertainment every Friday night 9pm-1am!
