“We drove out of our way to visit this spot at the recommendation of friends. It was worth the extra miles. My “gregarious yet combative” red blend was lovely and the cheese and charcuterie platter was artful and tasty. Enjoyed the vibe and would spend so much time here if I lived in the area.”

“What we got 3 types of bread for our starter, “Point Judith Calamari” as our appetizer, “Chophouse Chopped Wedge” as our salads, “Lyres Prosecco” as our beverages, “46 ounce Tomahawk Ribeye Surf and Turf” with the half “Alaskan King Russian Reds Crab Legs” and half “Maine Lobster Tail” and “Lobster Pasta and Cheese” as our entree. The entree was cut and served table side. So good! Highly recommend!”

“Went there twice for the ribeye. First time was cooked very well. The second time it was cooked more than I'd asked for. It was still good and they did offer to replace it. I declined as it wasn't ruined and still had a great dining experience.”

“Good food, decent service. Drinks are a little overpriced but expected. Don't order tall beers you're just getting ripped off. The fried pickles are awesome! And the brisket burger is a heart attack on a bun but man its goooooood!! Newly remodeled inside makes the place look bigger and brighter. Very nice remodel!

“I placed an order last week for a dozen frozen pasties to be sent to me in Texas. They put your order through immediately and box it for shipping. Have never had a problem, except this time, Fed-Ex delivered them 6 days later..two days after the day I was scheduled to get them. Sitting in the Texas heat for two days caused the pasties to thaw to the point where they couldn't be saved. Lawry's is sending me the same order free of charge. That is how loyal they are to their customers. They are not only the best tasting pasties, but because of how they treat their customers, they will always get my business. “Ore Dock Beer is exactly what craft beer should be. Good. Cold. Flavorful. Wife and I got flights each and of the beers we had, not a single pour was poor. All were either good or excellent. Very spacious interior with plenty of outdoor seating. Bartender was friendly and informative.”

“Everything was great! We were in town for Marji and got dinner Friday night. The wait was a little longer than quoted so they threw in some cannoli on the house which was not expected but so appreciated as they were AMAZING.

Alfredo with chicken, spaghetti with meatballs, and fettuccini with olive oil, chicken, tomatoes, basil & garlic were all wonderful, as was the salad. Garlic bread was just meh, not much garlic happening but with how good everything else was, we’d happily come back and just skip it next time.”

“Been OTR here for little over a year and I’ve slept more in my own bed then in the truck. Having in-house mechanics is amazing. When I have a issue my truck gets fixed right up with no downtime. Love being part of this family”

“I'm going to tell you a secret the locals know. This bar is a hidden 💎 located in the historic Landmark Inn Hotel. Found on the 6th floor of the hotel, it has amazing views of lower harbor/ Lake Superior.

Great cocktails, and I hesitate to say this, they also have a strong bourbon selection. Blantons, Eagle Rare, Weller, Old Forester, etc.

“We had the best experience at Bodega yesterday. We stopped for breakfast to celebrate my daughter’s 21st birthday with mimosa’s. We had Aurora as a waitress and she is amazing! The food was incredible!! I love that they let you know right away that you will be waiting about 45 minutes for your food, because it is fresh. It was with the wait! Try the coffee, it is delicious! Great way to spend our Saturday morning. I highly recommend it!!”

“Been going to the only buffet in town and been disappointed with rubbery chicken and beef, knew there had to be a better place. The chicken was pretty amazing, and the flavor was pretty good (Hunan chicken), not much chicken/mostly vegetables. Rangoons were pretty good and so was the steamed rice, and hot and sour soup. Even though not much chicken I was pretty full afterwards even after not eating the vegetables (hate vegetables with a passion, besides the baby corn). Overall I’ll go back, maybe try a full meal instead of a lunch combo.Update: so went back and got a full size meal, and it was the same not much chicken, their catchphrase should be “A whole head of cabbage in every meal”. It’s very good but way too many vegetables compared to meat, I used a deep paper plate where the whole box of rice filled up to the top of the plate, after I was done eating the chicken and rice the vegetables filled up the same amount of space as the rice. Very disappointing their isn’t more decent Chinese places”

“I highly reccomend trying Biggby Bragels and Coffee. Their Turkey Bacon on a Asiago Cheese bagel is my favorite, they grill it before serving so its warm and crispy. Pictured is the Sausage Egg and Cheese Bragel with cream cheese on a Everything bagel. It was delicious. My favorite coffee is the Sweet Tooth blended with whip cream. They have daily specials and senior/student discounts. Beats Starbucks and Dunkin any day.”

“Haven't been to a McDonald's in a long time. The food was great here and they had Halloween music playing with a great staff. MY aunt couldn't figure out how yo turn the water on or the paper towel machine and the girl went in the bathroom twice to show her . Very patient and nice!!”

The area inside where you can order food is relatively small. The dining area is relatively spacious and family oriented, but it is also dark due to small windows and dim lighting.

“Came back to Marquette recently for my brothers 50th class reunion. We wanted to try the Villa again. Remembered how good it was 50 yrs ago when we used to take our homecoming and prom dates there to eat. Remembered it being outstanding back in the day and it still is. The decor was still retro Italian, food was excellent, reasonably priced, and service was very good. I know Italian food and this was excellent. Marquette is blessed with this gem of a restaurant. Try it you won’t be disappointed.”
