A guy iworked with (I am now retired) would bring 2 dozen into work on occasion, they are the best donuts I have ever ate. At Christmas he'd bring in a strawberry cheesecake, absolutely the best!
On my way home from an early morning run to Detroit Metro and had a craving for a donut or two. As usual, I opened my trusty Yelp app for a reliable source.I just so happened to be within 5 minutes of Monica's, so I decided to give it a try. It was about 10ish AM when I arrived, and as I had expected, if this place had good offerings, most everything would be gone - I was correct, most everything was already sold out. I got a dozen to go. Plain glazed and blueberry cake. Both were very delicious. The service was fast with no waiting. The employee was friendly and understood I was on my way to work so the checkout was quick. I look forward to returning and trying other things.
