I got a dozen to go. Plain glazed and blueberry cake. Both were very delicious. The service was fast with no waiting. The employee was friendly and understood I was on my way to work so the checkout was quick. I look forward to returning and trying other things.

Paczki day. How disappointed. I get cutting corners. Cost of everything is ridiculous. But filling only 1/8 - 1/4. Paczkis are know for the filling. Find a way to improvise but not that much. We pay more and get less. No one holds standards anymore.

A guy iworked with (I am now retired) would bring 2 dozen into work on occasion, they are the best donuts I have ever ate. At Christmas he'd bring in a strawberry cheesecake, absolutely the best!

Ordered 4 cheesecake cupcakes on Thursday. Went & picked them up on Saturday. Took one bite & spit it out. Drove all the way from wyandotte for these. Very disappointing. I won't be back. This is my 2nd time leaving this review. Last time it was removed. ? Certain people are rude who work here also. Donuts are good, bit not worth the drive. Especially with the other issues.

On my way home from an early morning run to Detroit Metro and had a craving for a donut or two. As usual, I opened my trusty Yelp app for a reliable source.I just so happened to be within 5 minutes of Monica's, so I decided to give it a try. It was about 10ish AM when I arrived, and as I had expected, if this place had good offerings, most everything would be gone - I was correct, most everything was already sold out. Bad luck for me, but a good indicator Monica's may be a good one.A very small establishment with no indoor seating. The person who helped me make my choices had a couple great recommendations - the blueberry donut and apple fitter. Both were very good. A very airy texture as the fritter was almost like a soft bread or dinner role - very well done.The blueberry donut was also very tasty. Not al all like many other "fruit" flavored donuts, you definitely could taste blueberry in every bite. Also 2-thumbs up!Donut sizes were larger than most, and did not have dense consistency. Prices were fair for what you received.Thank you Monica's for taking care of my donut craving in fine fashion! Keep up the good work.

We stopped in to try the donuts. They were pretty good. My long John with cream filling could have had a little more filling and the dough a little sweeter. However overall pretty good!! The cinnamon roll donut was delicious too. Service was good; quick and helpful.

They have a limit of 4 of each type. My attitude is first come first serve. If they are out of my favorites then I get other type and not sleep in tomorrow. But I'll just go somewhere else instead. bye bye

The donuts and other pastries are to die for! The butter flake and other baked bread are beyond delicious as well as the other baked breads (all of them) And cheesecake. Why they are not getting a five star review is because of the customer service. It is hit or miss depending on who is behind the counter. The petite older woman with short hair is rude and miserable and because of that I will not visit again. Luckily for me I found a better bakery, not that convenient to get to BUT the products are just as good if not better than Monica's and there is consistent GREAT customer service.
