“BRIGHTON - was established in 1833 along Bean Creek. It was then discovered that there was another town by the same name and its new name became Morenci. There has been some controversy as to the history of the name Morenci, one story is that was an Indian name, the other story is that it comes from "Mount Morency" and that they changed the "y" to an "I". Two men have been given the most credit for the name, Simon D. Wilson and Jeptha Whitman.”

“Audra is amazing. I had a bad experience a couple of weeks ago. She made it right and then some! The cod was fantastic, and the personal touch when she said to my son that the homemade macaroni and cheese with bacon was going to be his favorite... It was! I always loved this restaurant, but now I can say that it's worth the drive because she's invested in the satisfaction of her customers. We may not get up here very often, but it's the ONLY place in Hudson for us. Excellent food, and customer satisfaction. Bravo!”

I didn't realize they were closing about the time I showed up. But they served me anyway. You must try their patty melt! Beyond delicious!”

“Had absolutely wonderful service both yesterday and today. My autistic son was disappointed about them being out of mint chip ice cream yesterday, and was struggling to make a new choice. The gal behind the counter was patient and kind and gave great customer service, in what I understand is less than ideal circumstances. (Who wants to wait on the customer to figure out what they want?) Today, she remembered us immediately, and was happy to tell us they had a brand new tub of mint chip. I’ve been bringing my kids to Bobbyes since we first moved here and I’ll be a life long fan if you keep hiring such wonderful staff. Thank you.”
