“4.1.24 @ 1pm - I dined in with two kids and another adult. I ate here over 20 years ago! It's still open and serving delicious food with a smile. We all had breakfast. I ordered steak and eggs, kids had pancakes, mother had french toast. There were lots of sides to share like hash browns, toast, eggs, and even biscuits (waitress was nice enough to throw in the biscuits). The food was so tasty. My steak was moist, perfectly cooked and seasoned. Everyone has compliments to the chef, waitress, cashier, and kind patrons as well. Great atmosphere. Money well spent plus they honor veterans. Thank you!Kid-friendliness: Kids menu items as well“
“My first visit was a good one. Super neat old school Diner so Retro. We arrived around 6:45 pm and it was very busy. Carlos was our wait staff person. He was getting orders from the window to the tables as quick as possible. The cook had to have been busting out these meals. We got ours in no time at all. I had the fish sandwich special the cod was delicious on a big fluffy bun. My son had a chicken sandwich on a hoagie bun. it was a nice time. Carlos wished us a blessed night. Yes he was also the cashier.“
“Had to make a quick trip down on a Sunday. Stopped into this restaurant and was greeted with all smiles. The staff, service, and food were exceptional! We've all had spinach and artichoke dip, BUT THIS WAS AMAZING WITHOUT a DOUBT! No wonder they've been in business for more than 80 years, and hopefully, there will be many more!Vegetarian options: I'm big on my greens and plant based protein due to my health. You'll find something incredible on their menu.Dietary restrictions: I have to watch my protein intake, and they had an accommodating menu.Parking: Parking is great, except this is located Birch Run outlets. With that being said, I'm not sure where everyone was taught to drive, but it was clearly a "park on the line" kinda day. ?Kid-friendliness: ABSOLUTELY ? The staff were very patient.Wheelchair accessibility: Absolutely ?“
“I've been here for dinner and the food is fabulous. The bacon cheeseburger YUMMy friend and I went on a Friday for fish and chips.... That was also fabulous!Seasoned fries and the coleslaw was good. Our waitress had a great personality. It's not a dance bar it's a sit around and hang out and have a drink and some food.Definitely recommend it to everyone!“
“Pending review on recent order. I wasn't satisfied, and Olivia assured me that I would be made whole. My first ever visit maybe a year ago was great. Rib tips were nice, firm yet tender, and sauced just right. The cornbread was really good, the rest of the sides well, kinda blah. 2nd visit today 2024 the okra was amazing. Potato dippers were nice and hot, but there was no dip. I will update this review once Olivia and I get these burnt ends together. The service here is exceptional! The lady coloring in the lobby was amazing.“
“This place is a hidden gem! Food was delicious and fresh. The staff was incredibly kind, and helpful. It was our first time and we’re very impressed. Our young kids devoured the fries, and loved the diner feel. So happy we decided to give this place a try!“
“Enjoyed it. I liked the cod dinner . Was as advertised on TV. Wife said her mushroom Swiss burger was good . Coleslaw was tasty had a few rough spots in it but was overall good. Fries were done just right. If you've never been you order at a counter and seat yourself with a numbered tag and they deliver the meal to you. System worked great. I will be back for more. 5 star of fast food. 4 star over all. No London chop house but way way better than Mcburgers and such.“
“Quite a delicious, great vibing restaurant. Do, yourself a favor and put Cork on Saginaw on your must visit list! We call our selves the "Feasting Four", we dine around metro Detroit rating as we go. Through a catered event we learned about Cork and decided to venture north to try it out. And we strongly encourage you to do the same. First impression is a Cork is an old building turned into a modern/eclectic restaurant where you instantly feel welcomed. The service was on point, friendly and attentive - Kat was awesome! The owner was on site to ensure we were well taken care of and talk about her food (something that most owners don't do, we loved it). The food. O, the food! The appetizers, salads, entrees and dessert were all delicious. Not huge portions but plenty enough we walked away full. Cork turned out to be one of our highest graded restaurants thus far based on food, service & vibe. We look forward to another return.“
“Friendly and prompt wait staff, lively crowd with an equal split of male and female patrons of all ages -- 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s, & 70s -- and everyone got along fine with no noticeable ageism from either end of the spectrum. I almost forgot the very accessible, dollar -a-game pool table.Wheelchair accessibility: The Thursday night I was there I walked up a metal ramp to a Please-Use-Other-Door I didn't try, however, I'm confident the staff will gladly open the door for anyone who knocks.“
“Angie, the bartender is an absolute gem! Not only does she have an extensive knowledge of cocktails, but her warm and welcoming personality adds an extra layer!! It's evident she takes pride in her work!!!! She's the secret ingredient that makes this place truly special!“
“I took my daughter to the Bistro for our daddy daughter dance. We were greeted by the owner and staff upon entering. Everyone was very complimentary and courteous. I ordered the crispy chicken salad and it was amazing. Everything was fresh and crisp. My daughter had the pancakes and bacon and enjoyed every bite! We will be back again for sure!“
“Foods pretty good, and much more filling than other slider based places - iykyk - but regardless of the food, I love this specific location because the service experience I had. One person went way beyond what a normal fast food worker was expected to do. Im terrible with remembering names but I’m certain Cody is the one I had helping me that day and he was a blessing to interact with. Give that man a raise!“
“Hear me out, this is the best breakfast joint in the city. The steak and eggs flashed me right back to 1995 when my dad would cook it for us. Legit you can taste that they put love into the food. Then on top of it you get great service, always asking if I want to take a soda home or coffee with me. It is truly a family feeling, good vibes, delicious food, and affordable!! I appreciate everything y’all do. PS I’d sell my soul for the biscuits and gravy“
“I won't ever return there again. the waitresses are so rude and make you feel like you are not even wanted there. The other people walking out at the same time we were, said they wouldn't be back either. Made me feel better because I thought it was just my family that was unwelcome. The food is good, but not good enough to where I want to feel bad for spending my money there plus we always tip decent.“
“Stopped by this spot while I was in town and had an awesome night! Food tasted great and was really good. Met some locals and chatted as we enjoyed some drinks and the vibe. The bar has a little stage for live music, but I wasn’t able to catch any while I was there. Ask for Andy to make you a cocktail and he’ll whip you up something real nice and tasty that’s not on their menu. This is a true gem in the town“
“This is a really nice bar. We went there to celebrate the birthday of a friend. We had never heard of Beamers before even though it is in fairly close proximity to where we live. It is an unusual bar for these parts because it has outdoor activities like a golf driving range. We did not eat while we were there, but it is now on radar for future visits.“
“I have been coming here for a long time . The restaurant has changed owners but the quality remains absolutely amazing . Anything from the fantastic breakfasts to the outstanding dinner selection you will enjoy your meal . The cheese cake is home made and absolutely to die “
“Small space, but the 30 and up age restriction makes it the right size for a good time. I personally enjoyed the 2 pool tables that had constant action. I'll be back for sure. I didn't get to try the food but was pretty tempted to try their tacos.“
“I love this place! Was passing through with a couple Amish friends. Stopped in and we were amazed by the speed of the order being done. They quality and size are not to be beat, the best. They service was very friendly and fast. Food wad exceptional. Folks next to us ordered the BLT....OMG!!! HUGE. Definitely know what in getting next time. Awesome first time experience. Coming back with friends...ones that know how to eat! Lol“
“My daughter wanted a burger, but we are a burger-snob family. I called a friend who suggested Churchill’s as the best around. He wasn’t kidding. Churchill’s is our new burger joint, hands down. It’s not even a contest. Service was outstanding, the employees were friendly and cared for us well. What a fantastic experience, and the burgers are outstanding. Oh, and their fries are twice-fried awesome!“
“Easily the Chick-fil-A of the Burger World!Vegetarian options: They have saladsParking: Plenty of parkingKid-friendliness: It's Culver's it's the Chick-fil-A of the Burger World they're polite and friendly to everyone.Wheelchair accessibility: Spacious parking in wheelchair accessible entrance“
“Went today for breakfast, usually our meals are fine but today both my husband and mine were undercooked in the mid but the outer layer was brown. Our scrambled eggs although plentiful they were also not cooked thoroughly. It happens. No biggie. Our waitress was on the ball and replenished our drinks quickly.“
“Had a great lunch with family!! Super Impressed by the waitstaff and how attentive she was and food was excellent. Bar atmosphere that could use a little TLC booths are all ripped up. Only complaint is that most of our food came out at the same time, except for my brother in law's. We started eating cause it was taking so long and we were all half way done before his sandwich even came out. Not sure what the delay was. Bloody Mary Brunch was delicious!“
“Coffee was ok. Good service. No wait to sit. We ordered it was about regular time for the food and my entire plate was cold. It didn't taste bad it was just way colder than you'd think for the short time it took. The other two that got the same as me had the same temperature food as well. Never had a problem with a Leo's before. Hope this is a one off...Parking: Plenty of parking even for a car trailer“
“The food is good. Cooked to perfection. Never overcooked or burnt. Love the cleanliness of my food which is very important. The prices are fair. The service is nice too.Dietary restrictions: I can’t eat beef or porkKid-friendliness: Always have to get my grandson his pancakes and sausage.“
“Went tonight with my husband and Grandson. First time ever. We're acknowledged right away . Server was quick with the excellent fried pickels, and mushrooms. Burgers were big and delicious. Mac and cheese worth fighting over. .Will definitely be “
“Four of us came in this location on 11/24/2023 at around 11:30 . Anita was our waitress and I teased her about if they were as good as the Tawas location. And yes we had a great experience with this Big Boy location and everything was great . Anita had a great personality and did a great job. Thank you Anita for putting a smile on our faces.DennisKid-friendliness: Very kind and friendly“
“We love everything we've had from here, the catfish, lamb chops, BBQ chicken, so many of the sides & it's all beyond delicious. The true definition of comfort food! It reminds me of my Gramma's food, she grew up in Salem, Arkansas and her food was perfect. Also, I want to add they did a feed the kids iniative in underprivileged areas in Flint and I heard they fed over 900 kids their fantastic menu. That is beyond amazing, and a business I love to support. I can't wait until they open again around here!“
“We ordered burgers, a salad, a gyro, fries, chili cheese fries, and deep fried pickles. The owner happened to be there and treated the kids to shakes too--everything was was delicious and huge portions. Prices were reasonable too. We live a couple hours away, but will definitely go again when in the area.“
“The girls took care of us. There was only one bartender and she ran the bar and the floor. Then she left and another girl came in and she ran the bar and the floor all by herself with approximately 30 to 40 people in there. Great service thank you The retirement party on Friday night 3/01/24 4:00 pm.“
“The Eberson has a new theme and name, Pop Rox - a theme of adult candy drinks (actually tasty drinks) and DJ music, definitely a place designed as the only college bar in the city. It is no longer a barcade so no games, just music and eccentric decor. There is a lot of empty space so would either add more seating or some type of filler. Most the other bars downtown are more dark, hole in the wall type places or designed for fancy older people to drink wine, Pop Rox is a refreshing upbeat youthful additive to the Flint night life. It would be a nice youthful end cap after enjoying down town attractions. Perfect location where you can walk to most of downtown area and right next to the Capital Theater, so enjoy a performance then a drink afterwards. First time visiting since the change over in theme and name, don't like how they still use the old reviews and photos, it is far too different now to make them relevent or even accurate. Recommend deleting The Eberson Google Maps account and creating a new Pop Rox account otherwise many customers will be confused by the photos, videos, and reviews. There is not a lot of group seating so a larger group will find it difficult to sit together, seems it is more for dating or a few friends to hang. Also recommend adding more seating on the second floor, there is just a large open space not really designed for standing but no place to sit either. Maybe a pool table or something could fit, give drinkers something to do, maybe a Dance Dance Revolution game. The concern is with all the other options downtown for drinking and eating, the main blood flow for this bar staying alive are the young college students which the campuses may not fully recover in attendance due to Covid for several more years. I recommend marketing like crazy to the students and posting around the UoM, MSU, Kettering, and Mott campuses, especially the local dorms. Would also build up Instagram, Tik Tik, and Facebook posts, even offer a discount or free samplers to those who post while there to build up the marketing online quickly.“
“April 24th we came in for my son’s birthday. Rebecca was our server. We have been here a few times but this was our best experience by far! Rebecca was friendly and efficient! This is the first time our server brought our appetizer and our meals! We had 8 people and she had another large party right next to us! She was on top of everything from filling our drinks to clearing our table! She was fun and friendly! We never waited for anything and she was right there checking on us and the large party. The food was great but her excellent service and kindness is what will bring us back.“
“I've been visiting Starlite since I was a child. I love the breakfast options and their burgers and coney dogs. The customer service has always been great, and the atmosphere is old-school, yet cozy. They are always pretty busy, but the food is made to order, and it comes out pretty quickly. Definitely recommend trying.“
“Top notch! I’m always wowed no matter what I order. The portions are generous. Try any of their soups, Mac n cheese, or the Mediterranean platter. If the food wasn’t good enough the service is. They are so kind and real. I love the family atmosphere. Every time I’m there they have a consistent flow of take out and drive thru orders. Must be everyone else’s fav too!“
“This is the first Culver's we've been to since having a negative experience (about 2 years ago)with an old grease tasting fish sandwich from a place in Florida. Needless to say this place was the EXTREME opposite, fresh, tasty and I'd go back in a minute. Michigan Culver's rule!“
“Shoutout to our waitress Cherie. Please let her read this or show it to her. Applebees, she needs a raise. Our party arrived late, about 10:30. Closing is at 11. All of the food was put up, but she brought it out and took care of us. I can’t say enough about how kind she was and the world be a better place if everyone acted like her. She was not rude in any way or rushing us. Food was good, service was even better.“
“Its mine and my husband's first time and our waitress was as friendly as ever our food was amazing. I'm very weary about biscuits and gravy and when I took a bite of my husband's and it was good I was very surprised I knew we would have to come back. Our cinnamon roll hit the spot and my breakfast bowl was mouth watering. The portions for the price was just right. We will definitely be back?“
“Good food, normally not very loud, if it's busy and only one waitress working you may have to wait a couple minutes longer than usual for a drink or service. But mid day they only have one bartender and waitress and sometimes it gets busy then. Karen is the best. I don't go as often as I used to but she always took great care of us.“
“We have been coming here since buying our house in 2021. The only thing I have ordered from there that I wasn’t crazy about was the biscuit and gravy. But other than that, everything else has been great! The prices are not bad at all, and the waitresses are all very friendly and stop by several times to make sure you don’t need anything.“
“Had dinner with friends on Saturday the 2nd of March. Food was excellent as usual but I have to mention that this restaurant has the most amazing servers. They are always so friendly and pleasant. They do a great job and should be commended. Unfortunately, I do remember our servers name but we were in the dining room at 4:00.“
“Stopped in between dropping my son at the airport at 7 a.m. and visiting the outlet mall in Birch Run which doesn't open until 10.It's Bob Evans. Unless you've never been, you know what to expect: hearty, fill-the-belly breakfasts and not too fancy lunches & dinners. Food reminiscent of what grandma made (or you wish she did).Calories are listed for everything and I'm thankful for that. It's amazing how many Americans consume to start our days but at least these are better balanced than a donut & coffee. The folks here are polite and quick and check up on you just the right amount.Personally, I could do without the country music at 7 a.m. (or any other time of day) but at least it's at a low volume. It feeds the theme and keeps the marketing people happy, I suspect.Vegetarian options: The amount of choices you have depend on how restrictive your diet isParking: Plenty of itKid-friendliness: If your kids aren't happy eating here, they need helpWheelchair accessibility: Lots of room to roll and plenty of space at tables and booths.“
“Specializes in Flint (with cumin) or Detroit (with meat) coneys and giant pieces of cheesecake. Excellent service and the place has a floral viewVegetarian options: Salads can be made vegetarian and there is fried cauliflower or jalapeño poppers“
“We sat at the bar and were very well taken care of by Allie. Thank you Allie! The manager Autumn was nice to chat with and ran the place very efficiently. She was very involved with helping out her staff and took the time to visit with the customers! Food was good too of course! Would definitely stop here again next time travelling through Flint!“
“Great place to buy burgers & more. They have a bat as well. The server was great & friendly. The bartender was sweet & helpful. Lots of room for many people.Everyone in our party loved the food. Woll come back again.Parking: Parking is great, but the area is shared with other businesses & this is a stand-alone building. The driveway connected to this has big potholes. Be careful.“
“Decent BBQ. It’s hard to find good consistent BBQ in Flint. Many are hit and miss. Some days you’ll go to one of the BBQ spots the BBQ Is good, then the next day it’s bad. Famous Dave's is good 85% to 90% of the time. I’ve dined in, had take-out and delivery. There’s been a few occasions where I had to let them know, I was not pleased with my Ribs and they always fixed the problem without hesitation, I like that about them, but majority of the time when I get their Ribs and sides it’s all good. I usually order a 1/2 or full slab of St Louis style ribs, baked beans with corn muffin and coleslaw. Haven’t tried very many of their other dishes.“
“No matter how busy they get, the ladies are always so kind and attentive. We go here because they have the best waitresses, foods good, good prices and again, the best staff. Been here for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, dine in And have gotten take out, never had a complaint.Dietary restrictions: They have a low cal. Section on the menu as well as seniors and kids section.“
“Had dinner on 3-20-24 @ 3:03pm. Our waiter, Justin B, was the best. Friendly, funny, interesting and gave us outstanding service. Our food was excellent, too. It was a perfect experience.Parking: They have plenty of handicap parking. All were great parking spaces.“
“One of my better trips to a Bob Evans. Great service, great food. Love the bottomless hot chocolate. Today I reordered a hot chocolate with the manager, when I got it, the taste was off, seemed watered down, so when the waitress came back, I asked for a different one, she said no problem, little watered down. Wish I got her name, great waitress. She said, yeah when the mix gets lower in the machine, you got to punch it. Makes sense to me, even one she made was fantastic. Will be back again.“
“Stopped Saturday night to see my sister, food was amazing, best prices around, fast service, Samantha is an amazing server and knows any drink mix you want! The owner Kim even Stopped at the table to check on us! Very down to earth, easy to conversate with, and genuine. I highly recommend the mountain bites, and the BBQ burger. 10/10 Will definitely be back.“
