“They serve pizza at the Cafe and the actual pizza area is takeout only. The layout is a bit confusing but the statue out front was pretty cool. For some reason I was expecting to dine inside the pizza area based on description. No worries i was still happy to visit. The roast beef dipper is the best in jackson county. Finally, the au jus doesn't over power the sandwich itself and you can taste the meat. The sauce on the pizza is out of this world and the salad tasted like it just came out of someone's back yard. And all for a super super reasonable price. I told my boyfriend I felt like I was back in the 90s in this restaurant with the nostalgia and how the food tasted. We will definitely be back and I encourage others to check it out!Kid-friendliness: Nice family oriented restaurant.”

“It had been a while since I had been here and decided to pick up a cheeseburger and fries on the way home. The cheeseburger was just as I remembered them. The bag that the fries were in was very wet. I had to dry the fries out in the oven. I thought it was grease at first, but nope. So, 4 stars because the cheeseburger was great.”

“I've always loved going to portage lake for some nice getaway and camping. Patty's has always been a landmark in the Waterloo area and is a must when I'm in the area.Their pizza is honestly really good. Made fresh and to your liking. Prob the best pizza in the area. You won't be disappointed. The place has nearly everything you'll need and is a must if in the area.”

“A very nice vineyard. The wine is great. My favorite is the blue skies. They also have a small variety of cider and beer to choose from as well. The charcuterie boards are well out together, and the food is decent. My pizza was actually really good. I wish the panini had a better crust on it. Overall decent food. My only complaint is the pricing on the food. 23$ for the charcuterie and 16$ for my flatbread pizza. The pizza was tasty. The picture below is special they had which is Parmesan sauce with feta cheese, mozzarella, onions, mushrooms and roasted red peppers. Which I did enjoy, however I feel it was a little overpriced for the portion size. 12$ would be more reasonable. They have live music and game nights. I've been here 3 times and have enjoyed myself every time.”

“A hidden gem that's worth the drive! We have known about this place for a long time but never made the trek and now we are kicking ourselves for waiting so long. We bought a little of everything, and it was all fantastic! The almond croissant, the almond bar, and sourdough bread were highlights. We bought a couple of frozen chicken pot pies to have for dinner later. We were lucky that while we were there they were roasting garlic in the ovens for (I think) their garlic cheddar bread, and it smelled delicious! The staff was friendly and helpful, and we can't wait to be back! Do yourself a favor and make a trip to get something fresh, but their products are also available at Arbor Farms Market, and other locations around SE Michigan.”

“Tried this fantastic diner October 2021, and will be back tomorrow March27th 2022 for the best Country Fried Steak I have ever had. I enjoy Country Fried Steak for breakfast, and this has been the very best. Can hardly wait.Had the country fried steak breakfast, and it was fantastic! March 21, 2024 had the great Country Fried steak and it is still fantastic.”

“They had the best food in the state!!! We LOVED all of their food especially their chicken and breakfasts and well lunches were awesome too but then they decided they were not going to serve food anymore just ice cream! When we heard that our hearts just broke! Double Deuce Diner was the best Diner ever! I heard all of this happened due to politics in our little towns government a power struggle ...cso we heard anyway ..and well the government won so here we are with a second ice cream store and left out in the cold !! I am basing my rating on the diner when it served food. Not just ice cream!”

“I ordered the grilled ham & cheese special and my son had the Cowboy burger! The burger was monsterous! The food and service were absolutely AMAZING!I think our "server" may have been the owner and if not she deserves a raise! ? HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place! It was also very clean. “If you're in the area and need staples for the family, definitely stop here. I love our little Country Corner. This place is the perfect example of the country store. They do have a drive thru which makes it very convenient.Parking: It can be a little difficult to find parking so I recommend using the drive thru.”

This happened twice.The half with the extra cheese was great.Both sides the crust was soft and tasty, The tomato sauce could be a little bit more aromatic.I called to explain that our second online order arrived with only 1/2 cheese. The first time I got it, the drink was strong of the dragon fruit flavor and it was wonderful, but the second time I got it, the drink was like just soda water.Vegetarian options: You don't have to add certain ingredients to your coffee and you can substitute milk for other natural milk options.Dietary restrictions: They got different types of milk, not just cow milk.Parking: It's a large parking lot shared by other stores.Kid-friendliness: The workers there are nice too kids and the store has a calm environment.Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs just a small ramp.”

“Arrived for dinner after a 22 mile hike so we were tired and hungry. I ordered the dirty rice and a bloody Mary. Both were very good! The smoked meat in the dirty rice was amazing. Huge helping for one person. We had a new server and she kept checking on us. The owner came by to say hi. A nice small town joint. Very lean beer selection which was disappointing.”

“Unfortunately Bob Evans does not have waffles on their menu anymore but their pancakes were good. The server also told us that they cook their pancakes and potatoes/hashbrowns separately in their own griddle away from the meats. As a vegetarian this is a huge plus to dine here ??”
