While waiting on food noticed one of the kids throwing steak and onions down on the grill with the same gloves and then handling the spatula. So I continued to watch as he then went over to toast the bread without changing gloves. Then he proceeded to handle vegetables with the same gloves. When I said something he did not even understand my complaint. After repeating the complaint the lady who appeared to be running the show told him to change his gloves and then told me " it's fine he hasnt started working on your order yet" as tho it was my order that I was concerned about and not all of the cross contamination.

Food generally is pretty good for a quick grab and go. But the service has gone down dramatically due to younger associates with very low wort ethics, which can and will lead to sanitation issues, and poor quality in service has already begun. ?

09/19/23: Was shopping in the Twelve Oaks mall and stopped at Charley’s to grab dinner with my son. We used the kiosk to place our order and team member, Frank, popped over to let us know that our order would take about 10 minutes due to orders ahead of ours and that he was working the front and grill by himself. No problem, and we continued placing our order on the kiosk. During the process I was not permitted to enter any special instructions. So after completing the order I let Frank know of the special instruction and we took a seat. A short while later, Frank let us know that our order was ready, and we retrieved it. Our order was perfect, the special instruction was correct, and everything tasted great! Shout out to Frank for showing up for work, working hard, working solo, providing positive customer service, and for our delicious meal. Thank you!
Stood at counter for approx 4 mins at 730p on Thursday. Cook was tending to orders. No one ever came to take my order. Cook did not acknowledge me either. Walked away and gave my business to the next place.
I love Charley’s food, it’s alway good and right on point. However when it comes to the employees you guys really need to think hard on who you hire. There were two employees a male and female, who were extremely rude. And not welcoming it at all, and highly disrespectful! They obviously did not want to be there, and as a customer has nothing to do with me but come correct when you’re working with the public.

What an awful experience. This WAS my favorite place to eat at the 12 Oaks Mall. Not anymore. The man running the show is incredibly rude and not kind at all. Having only the kiosk to place orders and not a human is one thing, but to have the humans that prepare the food not honor debit transactions on said kiosk because "it didn't print a receipt" is another entirely. The transaction was deducted from my bank account but they "didn't see it on their kitchen screen" so to make the problem go away I basically got what they wanted to give me. They said I had no proof I ordered anything - except the charge on my account. Wasted half of my lunch time arguing with the man. Disappointing.
