“I’m not a huge donut fan, but Elias donuts has changed that for me. As soon as my husband and I walked in, we were greeted warmly by the staff and offered a hot, fresh donut. It was a sloppy heavenly sandwich that tasted like authentic Italian beef and sausage (combo) I grew up with. Was about $15 per sandwich and worth every single penny. It's enough for two people, but why share? With flavors that good, you'll wish you ordered your own...or even another one to go! I did. I've been looking for an authentic Italian beef place since I loved to Detroit in 1980. I've finally found it. The shoestring fries are also worth the $5, so get some of those, too. I'll definitely be back! Try them, they are superb.“

“We were downtown for an event, and decided to grab dinner at Mister Dips. The decor is cool, and the service is quick and friendly. The menu is brief, but has some good burger and other options, and obviously ice cream and shakes, although we had an event and couldn't get any. We got a "normal" burger and a spicy one, and both were very good. The patties could use a little seasoning, but they were nice and juicy. The buns and toppings are also very good. We got the dirty fries, they were delicious and have a kick!Next time we are down this way, I'll definitely try some of the sweets, they look epic!“

They also have flavored popcorn and other snacks. The servers at the counter were kind and patient while my kid decided what flavor she wanted. They all sounded tasty! We tried several flavors. The tiger's blood had a bit of a strong coconut flavor, but my favorite was the sour apple! The profits from the facility go to "SAY Detroit" charity, so you can enjoy something delicious and feel good about it! It’s very small and has two windows, one for ordering and paying and one for pick ups. It’s the type of place you grew up with, because their used to be one in every neighborhood. “A beautiful concept nestled into the heart of downtown. Yesterday was cold and rainy, shopped around all the department stores and stumbles onto this gem. Pie-Sci is in the top 2 of all the pizza places we've had. it makes me sad that they are 3 hours away but it will become a must stop when we are near.“
