I love this restaurant. It's family owned. They are very friendly. The food is amazing and always freshly made with love. I've been coming here since they first opened, and I will say only amazing thing From Smoothies to Gumbo , fresh baked Treats to Kool-aid... the list goes on. I love the chicken Cobb salad and the chicken and dumplings. I would suggest calling in your order if you do know what you want. The parking lot isn't that big, so around lunch, it may be packed.

From the moment I walk in, this places feels like a family spot. The main menu items don’t miss, but those specials (like the gumbo on Fri and Sat or the drink mixes) are even better! I happened to go on a day when a regular was dining in, and his testimony gave me 6 more things I’ll have to try soon. Lol. Thank you for your hospitality.- Brie

I ordered nacho fries but taste JUST like chilli cheese fries instead…they cooked the fries in air fryer took almost 30 minutes just get fries taste like from Coney Island..look at photo even look like chilly fries….smh…NEVER AGAIN SUCH WASTE OF MONEY and TIME !!! The deserts are ok and reasonable price but I’m straight?The other stuff might be good idk not taking any chances..

The sandwiches were really disappointing… the BBD was described as having slow roasted beef dipped in au-jus… it literally smelled like rotten dog food. I didn’t even take a bite before I threw it in the trash. I was expecting some serious bits of homemade beef and instead it was lower than lunchables quality stink meat and some fake Swiss flavored American cheese. The turkey, ham and bacon on the club were of equal low quality. $10 sandwich should really have better meat in it, especially when they aren’t that generous with the meat in the first place. The baked goods were good but definitely not worth $1.50 for a cookie. I went in at lunchtime and they were super slow… the reasons I listed above are the reason they aren’t getting any business. I hesitated to write this review because the lady at the counter was over the top nice. They have always been real nice, but the food just isn’t any good. My mother is real nice too, I’ll never again eat that woman’s split pea soup though. You all aren’t going to succeed by selling a $5 sandwich for $10 and a .50¢ cookie for $1.50 … I really feel like that needed to be said and I hope they do better.

I finally was in the area to visit Pik Nik Basket to see what the hubbub has been :). I didn't get the standard sandwich but, a veggie quesadilla. I wasn't hungry enough for the sandwich and the quesadilla was a perfect size. It tasted great! Plenty of spinach, some cheese prominent. What was a great surprise was I took away dessert, the red velvet cupcake with cream cheese frosting. Sinfully good!! I will return for a sandwich but, will be tough to decide which one!! Thanks ladies, see you soon!

Called for pick up order 11:11am. Chili dogs and nacho fries. Sounds simple right? They say order be ready in 15 minutes. Show up at 1130. Not ready. They say be just a few more minutes. That's fine. Currently 12pm on my 30 minutes lunch still waiting. Food is decent but not work it the wait. Very disappointing poor management and owners.
I was craving a sloppy joe and they delivered. Good service and food. The chess set is a nice touch.

Came in for a smoothie while waiting on my sushi next door. Wish I would have walked in here first. I ordered three smoothies and a banana pudding cheese cake. The cashier recommended my smoothie and it was perfect. (Tropical getaway) I'll be coming to try one of their big beef sandwiches for sure! Everything looked fresh and the people dining in had food that looked well prepared. I'll be back!
